Australia’s Olympians will be issued with free super-strength condoms in Rio to minimise any infection from the Zika virus, officials said.
Brazil has been the epicenter of the outbreak of the mosquito-borne disease, which is blamed for birth defects in babies born to women infected with the virus.
While condoms will be available in dispensing machines in the Olympic village, Australia is taking no chances providing extra protection by supplying their own extra-strong variety “for peace of mind”.
They have teamed up with manufacturer Starpharma, which says its condoms contain a lubricant that protects against sexually-transmitted diseases and has “near-complete anti-viral protection against Zika virus in laboratory studies”.

“The health and well-being of the team comes first,” said the Olympic team’s chef de mission Kitty Chiller.
“Our association with Starpharma will provide extra protection for everyone on the team, and is a common sense approach to a very serious problem we are facing in Rio.”
There has been widespread anxiety globally surrounding the threat of Zika, which is rampant in Brazil.
As well as causing the birth defect micro cephalic in babies born to women infected with the virus, it has also been linked to the rare but serious neurological disorder Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
Last week, the World Health Organisation advised pregnant women not to travel to Rio and urged athletes and visitors to take precautions to avoid infection

Tunji 'Teebillz' Balogun has tested negative for hard drugs. The father of four, who was accused by his estranged wife, singer Tiwa Savage, of taking cocaine, told friends that he hadn't touched drugs in two years.

A source told LIB exclusive that Teebillz was taken to Lancet Laboratories in V/Island today by his friends to test him for drugs and he tested negative to not only cocaine but also other hard drugs.

When Teebillz shared his suicide note this morning on IG while pouring his heart out about the demise of his marriage to Tiwa Savage, many of us thought/hoped he was just talking, but he wasn't. Tunji 'Teebillz' Balogun tried to commit suicide this morning by jumping off the Lekki- Ikoyi toll bridge and this is fact!

According to an eye-witness named Chukwuma Ani, who witnessed the incident and was one of the men who pulled Teebillz off the bridge, he told ELI exclusively that around past 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge, a car hit his own from behind, damaging his car. He said he came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle that hit his. He didn't know who the man was (it was Teebillz) but he said he berated him for hitting his car and asked the man to come out and assess the damage caused to his car. The man looked at him and told him to leave...that he was there for a reason. That he was planning to commit suicide and Chukwuma Ani would hear about it later...

Not knowing who the guy was or understanding why he was talking suicide, Mr Ani said he kept insisting that the driver must come down from his car and see the damage he had caused to his car. He said he noticed alcohol on the floor of the driver's car so thought the man was drunk. He said while shouting and berating the driver for hitting his car, the guy just suddenly drove his car with speed to the front.

Ani said he got into his own car and gave chase and was surprised to see the driver of the car parking his car in the middle of the bridge as other cars drove past. He said he parked in front of the driver and approached the man again, telling him that he couldn't even apologize for hitting his car and was instead trying to drive off. He said as he was berating the man, he (Teebillz) got down from his car and walked to the bridge railing.

He said he stood there wondering what the driver was trying to do and it was at that point that two other cars approached them. He said as he was trying to figure out who the new comers were, Teebillz had moved to the bridge railing and was trying to jump. Mr. Ani said a light skinned guy came out from the first car and began running towards Teebillz screaming and that was when he realized what was going on..
"I thought I was watching a movie" Ani told ELI "the man held the railing and tried to jump over it and that was when the yellow man held him and started shouting for help. The two of them nearly fell into the water. I quickly joined the yellow man to pull the guy out and while we were struggling with him, one PSquare twin (Peter Okoye) and Banky W joined us to pull the man out " Ani said
ELI called Peter Okoye to confirm he was there but he refused to say anything "Even if I was there, I can't say anything about it" he said.

A HARARE prophet claims to have anointed soaps for his female followers which enables them to lure men into love relationships.

Prophet Tapiwa Freddy of Goodness and Mercy Ministries officially unveiled the anointed soups to his congregants last Friday.

The Man of God whose church is located opposite Glen View 8 Poly Clinic, claimed among other things that the soap was capable of, it can also lure lost lovers. ‘All married women your prayed have been heard, if your husband is cheating on you and even if he has lost interest in you sexually your anointed soup is the answer.


“All you have to do is wash your underwear with that soap or simply bath yourself, make sure the soap passes where he has lost interest and you will definitely come back with a testimony.

“To the singles if you are unlucky in love,anointed soup is the answer,you will find men approaching you, they will see you attractive and beautiful.

“Ugly women will be married this season because of what God will be doing through anointed soaps,” he said.

Former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has debunked reports attributed to her in regards to how lack of political will of Goodluck Jonathan's administration negatively affected the country's savings. Below is a statement issued on Friday by her Media Adviser, Paul Nwabuikwu:
"Some recent media reports have distorted comments made by former Finance Minister Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala regarding how lack of political will negatively impacted national savings over the past few years.
Contrary to the slant given by these loud headlines, Dr Okonjo-Iweala did not indict the Jonathan administration in which she served.
Rather, she was referring to what many Nigerians already know: the strong opposition by some governors to the Jonathan government’s efforts to save in the Excess Crude Account and the Sovereign Wealth Fund sabotaged this important national priority.
The governors’ criticism of Dr Okonjo-Iweala’s many calls for the country to save for the rainy day are still fresh in the minds of Nigerians.
It will be recalled that this opposition culminated in the Governors taking the Jonathan government to the Supreme Court in furtherance of their position that the Federal Government had no right to “compel” them to save.
Several knowledgeable persons including former Anambra State Governor, Mr Peter Obi have confirmed these facts.
So the issue of Okonjo-Iweala indicting the Jonathan administration over this very public issue simply does not arise.
We urge the media to always consult for clarification whenever the need arises."

A former Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Habib Jega, died in an auto crash along Birnin Kebbi-Kangiwa road at about 5pm today April 15th. Jega who is presently the Special Adviser on Local Government to the current Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, was on his way from an official assignment when the accident that claimed his life occurred. He has been buried according to Islamic rites. May his soul rest in peace Amen.

With all of these things mentioned, you should definitely try sleeping naked. For those of you who are curious but “just don’t think it’s for you” or if you have any qualms about the taboo nature or sexual undertones implicated with sleeping in the nude, I suggest you keep this in mind: it’s just a body. Not everything needs to be sexualized, and some things are just healthier to do without clothing. A professor at the University of Manchester, Nicholas Goddard, has been shamed after he was spotted in a p0rn movie by one of his students. The divorced father-of-three and a respected Chemical Engineering lecturer, whose academic career spans almost 35 years,resigned after he was unmasked as a p0rn star working under the stage name 'Old Nick'....
