Crime / How 3 Kids Who Went To Pluck Cashew Found Colonel Samaila Inusa’s Body(pics) by Dicksonokeke(m): 2:27pm On Mar 31, 2016
Three children went to pluck cashew from a bush opposite Ajyaita Village in Kakau District of Chikun LGA of Kaduna State on Tuesday, but ran into a very unlikely sight-a corpse, which was later identified as that of the abducted military officer.
Ajyaita village is about 10 kilometres from Kaduna city centre, and lies along the Eastern By-pass which links the Abuja-Kaduna express way to the southern part of the state. The children had set out for the forest opposite the village on Tuesday morning and met the decomposing body by a narrow footpath leading to the forest.

Some elders told Daily Trust that the children then ran back home to reveal the unpleasant information to a farmer who they earlier met on their way to the forest. The man was planting yam seedlings at a farm. After hearing the children’s story, he rushed to the spot to confirm it, and he in turn, ran to inform the village head.
The village head informed the police authorities who deployed some policemen to accompany him to the spot. The police then called the army authorities who came to inspect the corpse. Therein came the painful confirmation-it was the body of Colonel Samaila Inusa, who was kidnapped a few days earlier.
“The military came with photographs and confirmed that he was the one. There was no identity card found on him, but the military identified him as the missing colonel. The place he was found is a bush path that is accessible by a car. The bush is also close to a village called Kefinary,” an elder said.
Residents of Ajyaita refused to take our correspondents to the place, saying the place had been cordoned off by soldiers who asked people to stay away for now.
Daily Trust noticed some heavily armed policemen patrolling the area while villagers were busy with their work without any noticeable tension.
The colonel was buried yesterday at the Ribadu Cantonment, Old Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) site in Kaduna according to Islamic rites.
Draped in the national colours of green-white-green, the body arrived the old NDA cemetery around11.45am from the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna and was interred at noon after prayers at the NDA Juma’at mosque.
Relations, colleagues and friends couldn’t hold back tears, while some cried loudly.
The Chief Administrative Officer of the Nigerian Army, Major General Ado Abubakar, who represented the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, said it was a great loss to the Nigerian Army.
He described late colonel as a very committed officer who never joked with his responsibilities and announced that the army would do everything possible to get those behind the killing.
“Col. Inusa was a great soldier. We all feel the pains. Though death is inevitable and nobody can run away from it. I came in to represent my boss, the Chief of Army Staff because the Nigerian Army is mourning one of us that had really served this country greatly and we are not really happy the way he died, but whatever happened, we will see to the end of it all,” he said.
The Commander, Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Kasim Abdulkarim, said the late Samaila who served under his command was a loyal, committed and hardworking officer who would be fondly missed by his colleagues.
Gen. Abdulkarim urged officers and men of the Nigerian military to take precautionary measures for their personal safety.
The colonel’s younger brother, Mustapha Inusa, described him as generous, saying, he was good to everyone, both within and outside his family.
“He was our family’s breadwinner and we will miss his dearly. Samaila is dead and he was buried in the presence of his parents, you know what it feels like for parents to bury their children, it is not a good feeling, his parents will really feel his absence because he was the one who used to cater for them,” he said.
Colonel Inusa, who was the Commander, 81 Battalion in Bulabulin, Damboa LGA of Borno State before he became Chief Instructor at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, Kaduna State, was honoured with a three- gun salute by officers.
A close friend of the deceased and former Minority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Muhammad Ali, described him as a humble and calm person who was loved by all.
Another close family friend who simply gave her name as Mama Hauwa described the late Samaila as a perfect gentle man. She prayed that his soul rest in peace while calling on the military authorities not to relent in their resolve to get the killers.
Born in 1972 in Nasarawa LGA of Kano State, Col. Inusa attended Ramat Special Primary School from 1979 to1985 and proceeded to the Ahmadiyya Secondary School, Kano where he obtained his West African School Certificate in 1991.
He gained admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1992 as a member of the 44th Regular Course and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. He was the aide-de-camp to Sierra-Leonean Vice- President and was promoted to the rank of Colonel last year. His last appointment was as Chief Instructor at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji.

Politics / Slain Colonel Samaila Inusa Laid To Rest(pictures) by Dicksonokeke(m): 2:16pm On Mar 31, 2016
Slain Colonel Samaila Inusa laid to rest according to Islamic rites at Ribadu Cantonment, Kaduna on Wednesday 28 March 2016. The colonel was kidnapped on Sunday March 27 in Kaduna, and was found dead at about 6.00pm on Tuesday, the Army said.
A statement from the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said Colonel Inusa’s body was found in Kaduna, and he was suspected to have been killed on the day he was kidnapped.

“ Preliminary investigation revealed that most likely the late senior officer was killed same day he was kidnapped by his abductors. This is because the body was found already decomposing around Ajyaita village off Eastern Bypass Kaduna, Kaduna State,” Usman said.

Colonel Usman warned that whoever was behind his abduction and murder would be fished out to face the full wrath of the law.

The late Colonel was kidnapped while in his Mercedes-Benz car with his wife by some gunmen around Kamazo, along Kaduna Refinery Road in Chikun LGA of Kaduna State. They dropped off his wife and left with him, heading towards Abuja.

Politics / Tea Farming: Gov Ishiaku Of Taraba State Eyes Export Market. by Dicksonokeke(m): 8:16pm On Mar 26, 2016
Gov. Darius Ishaku of Taraba State while commissioning a tea crusher plant in the Mambilla plateau reiterated the need to start the exportation of its produce being the only company producing tea in the entire west African region.
The Tea and Coffee grow very well in Nigeria. On the Mambilla plateau (Taraba state), the tea is one of the highest quality in the world. The temperate climate and the plateau provide good arable land for its cultivation and high yield. Some companies already exist taking advantage of these endowments. There is however abundant room for additional investors.

Family / Herbalist Marries 18yrs Old Chidinma As 57th Wife In Enugu(photos) by Dicksonokeke(m): 10:17pm On Mar 18, 2016
Wonders indeed shall end! Meet the 69 year old herbalist, Chief Simon Odo, who married an 18 year old girl, Chidinma, as his 57th wife last November and now says he won’t marry again.Chidinma was married from Okutu, in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State.Chief Odo, also known variously as Onuwa, King Solomon of Africa or King of Satan was married to 68 women but some of them had earlier died.
Augustina Odo (nee Asogwa) and Virginia, nee Mogbo from Oraifite were among the dead ones.Odo spoke in an interview with the South East Voice at his palatial home at Aji, Enugu Ezike in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Onuwa who was armed with an Onward note book where names of his wives and over 200 children were listed according to their dates of birth said that his first son, Emeka was born on December 15, 1969.
“I was born in 1947 on the day they had an eclipse of the sun and the moon. There was darkness in the afternoon on the day I was born. I was the only son of my parents.“I was baptised as a Christian in the Catholic Church and I even became a mass servant under Rev Father Desmond McGlade.“I however became a herbalist because of circumstances beyond my control. As I said, I was the only son of my parents but because some of his relations wanted to take over his landed property, they poisoned me. I contracted tuberculosis and had to be treated for years.
“At a point, I was even unable to walk for about five years because I became lame. I ran to Ondo State in the South West, where I trained to become a herbalist at the age of 15, before returning to the village.
“I married 15 wives when my father was alive and the situation prolonged his life. He died in 1992 at the ripe old age of over 90 years. My first son has seven children and four grandchildren. Any of my children who chooses to become a Christian is free to do so, provided he/she must become a Catholic. I don’t like the Pentecostal churches.”
On feeding of his large family, Onuwa said:
“People think that I feed many of them but this is not true. Most of my children are grown up.
The boys among them usually marry and go to their own houses just like the girls who marry and follow their husbands to their places. However, my wives cook food for the whole family in turns.

Health / Meet The Toddler Who Eats Paint,carpet,washing Powder,bugs,stones,plastics(pics) by Dicksonokeke(m): 11:49am On Mar 14, 2016
A three year old toddler, Mandy Moore, is suffering from a rare condition called Pica, that makes her crave everything from the carpets to paint to washing powder, to bugs, stones, plastic and anything else but normal food. Pica, a rare impulsive disorder meaning she has cravings to eat non-food.
It can be potentially life-threatening, with risks ranging from vomiting, constipation and infections to blockages in the gut and intestines, choking and poisoning.

In some cases surgery may be needed to remove objects from an individual’s gut or to repair tissue injuries.
Her mum, 26 year old Catherine Mullins had to quit her job to keep a constant eye on Maddie to make sure she doesn’t choke or eat something that could damage her insides. Her partner, who is 29 years old also quit his job so they could both watch her. She said:
“If she could, she would eat everything. I’m always worried about what she’ll try to eat next. Everything goes to her mouth.
“Sometimes, I have to put my fingers in her mouth and hook the food out to stop her choking.
“You literally can’t take your eyes off her for a minute so our house never shuts down.”

She noticed Maddie started putting strange objects in her mouth just before she turned one, when she began crawling.
Maddie’s behaviour prompted tests and assessments at her two-year health check and she was diagnosed with Pica in September last year. She also suffers from autism, developmental delay and sensory process disorder, which causes her to bounce, spin and climb at any opportunity. The family live in Bournemouth, Dorset

At night she has to be zipped into a specialist bed to stop her harming herself while her parents and four-year-old sister Lilly sleep.

According to the mum, as she gets older, her interest in normal food has drastically reduced and she only eats foods of a particular colour and texture - like potato waffles, fish fingers and chicken burgers.
Catherine said:
“It started with her picking up and eating small items of fluff and paper, any bits she could find from the floor.
“Then her cravings became more and more intense. We can’t have anything on the walls like displays or paintings because she’ll eat them.
“Lilly can’t do any drawing or crafts because Maddie will eat the pencils and paints.
“I literally have to hide anything dangerous. We have child locks but she’s very clever and susses them out.
“Yesterday she ate a whole pack of chalks when I wasn’t looking, but her favourites are Play-Doh, sand and dirt.”
“I can’t go anywhere with her - not even to a cafe or the supermarket," said Catherine

“Our flat is so small, there isn’t space to even use the sensory equipment we have been funded which would really help Maddie.
“It’s hard because due to her condition she can’t go outside much either. She needs to be safe because of her complex needs so to have somewhere where she could have the space to play and Lilly could rest too, would be a dream come true.
“Nothing in our life is normal, every aspect is affected and it’s very tough on Lilly too.
“Every day is a struggle but she’s worth it. Maddie is such a character.
“I feel really lucky because she is so quirky and different. I love her so much.”

Phones / Iphone 7- Between Dream And Reality (video Review) by Dicksonokeke(m): 5:54pm On Mar 11, 2016
iPhone 7 rumors say that it is likely that 2016 will bring along the spawn of a new iPhone generation. Despite the rumor, this is not doubted. The idea now is that Apple will release not two, but three phones in their next generation release. In a report by the iPhone Arena, the next iPhone generation may look drastically different than the other versions. If Apple does decide to incorporate 3D holographic capabilities, then this rumor is likely to be true.

The most interesting rumored feature that was previously thought to exist in iPhone 6 is a 3D Display, but you don't have to worry about the glasses because you can use it without one. It might be a wild idea as it comes with a holographic keyboard projected to the surface using four pico projectors. That idea is actually not far off as the iGiant's head, Tim Cook, admitted that they were working on something they said was an "interactive holography display device" and they already filed for patency on that three years ago and only in September 2014 were they awarded with it. So, it's definitely not out of the picture for iPhone 7.

Romance / Five Things You Can Use Condoms For Apart From Protection During Sex(pics) by Dicksonokeke(m): 6:20pm On Mar 10, 2016
Besides their primary use for protection during sexual intercourse, condoms are used for numerous other purposes. Most of you will probably think of the days when you filled condoms with water. In fact, due to their elasticity, condoms are ideal for keeping water and when you go camping, you can put a condom filled with water in a sock and you will have enough water when you feel thirsty!

1. If you freeze a condom with water you can use it as a compress on swollen legs or any body part.

2.Moreover, you can use it in the kitchen! Put minced meat in the condom and the condom will maintain the meat compact and it will allow it to cook uniformly.

3.When you have a wound, and you cover it with a bandage it makes showering a difficult task. The condom is the perfect solution to cover the wound and shower freely. Unwrap the condom and cut it in equal pieces. Be careful since these rubbers are strong and will not rip so easily as usual rubbers. These rubbers are great for hair tying.

4.Strength is not needed here, but the right grip. Latex condoms will ease jar opening.

5. feel free to add yours to help educate others.

Religion / See What The Blind Woman That Predicted 9/11 Attack Has To Say For 2016.(pics) by Dicksonokeke(m): 5:47pm On Mar 10, 2016
Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova – blinded at an innocent age of 12 years in a terrible storm as per local legends. She was a blind Bulgarian seer. According to the followers, she predicted major events of global concern including the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the 2004 Tsunami correctly. Yes, that sounds spine chilling! What’s more is that even the rise of ISIS was allegedly foretold by her.

WHAT’S IN STORE FOR 2016 ACCORDING TO THE PREDICTION?

The followers of the blind mystic lady, who possibly gained sight of the future after losing her sight for the present world, have revealed a prediction for 2016. They say that a prophecy was made by her before she died in 1996, at the age of 85. It is being said that she foresaw the ceasing existence of Europe due to the Muslim extremist invasion in 2016. Horrifying, isn’t it? A WHOLE CONTINENT WILL CEASE TO EXIST! This invasion has been foreseen to involve chemical weapons.
Sure, with advancements in technology, chemical weapons are a thing of the now but could destruction be huge enough with this ugly face of the human race being exhibited?

Be afraid, famous people. Be very, very afraid. When Aaron Ramsey scores for Arsenal, celebrity lives are in danger.
After the Welsh midfielder scored the opener in the Gunners' 2-2 draw at Tottenham, the only people who were initially worried about the consequences were Spurs fans.
But after the death of Nancy Reagan - the wife of former American president Ronald Reagan - the following day, the internet has been quick to once again seize on the (supposed) "Curse of Aaron Ramsey".
As daft as it might sound, there is a bizarrely long list of famous people who have died just after a Ramsey goal. There are now NINE examples of a Ramsey strike (apparently) leading to the death of a high-profile figure.

1 May 2011: Ramsey scores in 1-0 win against Man United.
2 May 2011: Osama Bin Laden dies.

2 October 2011: Ramsey scores in 2-1 defeat against Tottenham.
5 October 2011: Steve Jobs dies.

19 October 2011: Ramsey scores in 1-0 win against Marseille.
20 October 2011: Colonel Gaddafi dies.

11 February 2012: Ramsey scores in 2-1 win against Sunderland.
11 February 2012: Whitney Houston dies.

30 November 2013: Ramsey scores twice in 3-0 win against Cardiff.
30 November 2013: Paul Walker dies.

10 August 2014: Ramsey scores in 3-0 win against Man City.
11 August 2014: Robin Williams dies

9 January 2016: Ramsey scores in 3-1 win against Sunderland.
10 January 2016: David Bowie dies..

13 January 2016: Ramsey scores in 3-3 draw against Liverpool.
14 January 2016: Alan Rickman dies.

5 March 2016: Ramsey scores in 2-2 draw against Tottenham.
6 March 2016: Nancy Reagan dies.

SPOOKY.

Needless to say, this latest example of the "curse" has got (what feels like) most of the online world joking about the Arsenal man's Grim Reaper-like qualities.

Ramsey, however, is not about to join in with the gag.

Despite the lighthearted nature of this nonsense, when "the curse of Ramsey" was brought up to the Welshman during an interview in June last year, he made it clear he doesn't find it amusing...

Interviewer: I was wondering if you were aware - I guess you were - that a couple of years ago whenever you seemed to score someone famous seemed to die, and a big thing was made of it for a while. Were you aware of that at the time?

Ramsey: (unamused) A few people did make me aware, but I didn’t score as many goals then. I’ve scored quite a few goals now where no-one had died, thank God...

Interviewer: So you’ve been able to put that one to bed.

Ramsey : Yeah... it was a silly rumour that I didn’t take any notice of.

Interviewer: (laughing) You didn’t find it amusing, in a bizarre sort of way?

Ramsey: No I didn’t really find it funny.

I am studying the Igbo culture, which has been noted to have unique similarities and parallels with the culture and history of ancient Israel. So, I can also say that I am studying ancient Israel. I think that we can never have a surfeit of studies about ancient Israel. My own opinion, formed by my experience is that though much is known about the ancient Israelites, still much is yet to be known.

Many believe that much of my findings which I have documented in 6 books is helping to fill the void. I have been told many times that my presentations of Igbo culture illuminate the Tanakh, that they make clear many of what otherwise would seem of no consequence or importance. On the other hand, Jewish cultural studies have served as an Igbo Studies primer to me. As could be seen Jewish Studies is providing us with help in understanding the history of some of the customs. As well as enabling us to fill gaps in our general history. So it’s a win-win situation for both the Igbos and the Jews.

The Igbo, in older times more commonly referred to as the Ibo, have been referred to as the Jews of Africa for a long time. We have been native to 16000 sq miles in the deep south of Nigeria for estimatedly 1000 years.

The Omenana

The Igbo way of life is called Omenana, which if you translate to English you will get ‘things, laws, customs, traditions that you have to do or observe in or on the land’. This I believe will give you a clear message because the Torah of Israel which is the basic code of the culture of Israel contains essentially what/the laws, customs, etc, that the Israelites are to do/observe on the land..’

300 years or so ago, my family with Udoji my great grandfather, who was an obi, and an nze, at its head brought in, and accommodated Nri from Ohaeri, another Igbo clan, who from all indications; which include evidence that Igbo migrated from the ‘north’, are Levites, and if they are not, we would then be forced to consider the strange possibility that there were two Israelite entities that were not connected in any way in ancient times.

My father who was born in 1920 told me that the family of non Ozubulu ancestry that are our ‘brothers’, because they live on our land, attend family meetings with us, and are our kinsmen presently came the following way to join us: Udoji was sitting on the corridor of his obi one day, around 300 years ago, enjoying the cool breeze, when he espied a family walking towards him. Getting closer, they saluted him, and responding he asked who they were, and they responded that they were Umu Nri; that they were looking for a place to settle and live. Udoji invited them in, gave them hospitality, allocated land to them, and they settled and became members of his family. They still live with us today. The special occupation of this family gives us a hint of who they are. Among the Igbo, like among the Jews, a suicide was not given a regular burial. The Torah said that a hanged person is an abomination. Here the English language I think missed the point of the Torah. Torah must have meant a person that hanged himself. A suicide! Hanging was a very regular means of committing suicide in ancient times. The Igbo believe that one who committed suicide by hanging -committed abomination-soiled the land (society), offended G-d, and that purifications must be performed before his body could be cut down to be thrown away. And he or she must not be mourned. My studies of Jewish traditions show that no Jewish group accords the suicide a normal, and regular mourning and burial.

Back to our Levites. This family that Udoji accommodated came from one of the families/clans that had authority to perform the required purification (cleansing). They had right, and freedom to move around, and to be allocated land by their brother Igbos to settle and practice their profession, exactly as the Lord required the biblical Israelites to do in the case of the Levites, who were also to move around in Israel, practicing their craft. Among the Igbo, the major purifications and cleansings have to be done by the priests of Nri.

Here we have another clincher: the primary family/clan of the Nri; Agukwu, where I conducted much research, and met great Igbo sages has the nickname: ‘Nri enwela ani’: the meaning of this would shock you. It means that the Nri don’t have lands.

Jacob, the Hebrew Patriarch prophesied that Levi would have no land in Israel, but would be scattered in Israel. Moses, the Law-Giver, through whom G-d instructed Israel directly relayed what G-d said about the Levites: they were to be scattered in Israel, as the priests of the Israelites. The Nri are scattered among the Igbo, as the primary priests. Nri have had this nickname ‘Nri do not have lands’ since immemorial times, and most probably most Nri indigenes have forgotten why they acquired the nickname. Tellingly, the family of Nri that settled with the Ilona, named one of their sons Asomba, which means that they can settle anywhere among their brother Igbos.

The Obi

The obi are the persons who traditionally serve as the political leaders of Igbo communities. My family which I have introduced by narrating how it accommodated a family of Igbo Levites, has provided the obi for my community, the Egbema, Ozubulu sub-clan for centuries. The function of an obi includes provision of the meeting place for the community, and maintenance of same. In this structure which is called community obi, the community also gathers for formal religious activities like prayers, which the oldest male member of the community leads. The obi also serves as the ‘court-house’ of the community. Issues are settled inside it, and sittings are only taken to the ilo (stadium) if the proceedings would attract very many people, and its feared that the obi would not be able to accommodate those that would like to attend.

The obi would very likely be the person that would represent the community if there are risky and costly assignments that the community needs to execute. For example, if the community needed to fight a neighboring community, the obi would lead the community. Also the obi is expected to shoulder the responsibility of the community, like accommodating the ‘Levites’ as I have narrated. The obi reminds me of the Hebrew judges, and kings, who led the people from the front; were at the forefront of the fights, and not at the rear. Saul was there at the war front making the arrangements for tackling Goliath, even volunteering his armor for the boy-soldier David. Also the obi who is wrongly misrepresented as ‘king’ today, or traditional ruler, to use what is in the Nigerian lexicon, reminds an observer of the Israelite ‘king’ whom G-d instructed that he is to still remain more less an equal of his brethren. The Igbo obi, unlike the kings (traditional rulers) among the Yoruba, Benin, Hausa/Fulani, Europeans, etc did not receive any special treatment from the Igbo. Like King Ehav, who wanted to buy Naboth’s land, because unlike real kings, he hadn’t control of the land in Israel, the Igbo obi has only his own portion of the ancestral land, and if he needs more, he has to buy.

The obi is empowered so that he can be strong as he performs his functions. An ofo which will help him to live a clean life is given to him. The Igbo have a belief that living sinfully leads to death. To avoid this fate, the obi who as a prominent person could more easily stray, is given an ofo, which one is scared of sinning when one is in possession of it. If the obi is the oldest man from the oldest family in the community, things are very simple in regards to the ofo, because it is the oldest Igbo from the oldest family that possesses the ofo of a particular community, among the Igbo. But if he is not, an ofo which will be subordinate to the main one will be provided for him.

Nze

In the good old days every Igbo goes to be consecrated, to become an ‘nze’. An nze is distinguished by the following: he is very careful about what he eats, and extra careful about what he does, says and hears. Traditionally the Igbo keep kosher. Substantial evidence of this exists in the wise sayings, lore, music of the Igbo, and in the animals that the Igbo consider as suitable for sacrifice. The nze goes an extra mile in observing the laws of kashrut, and general kosher. He can only eat food prepared in his home, by his wife, and this depends on her state. So sometimes he prepares his food himself. He does not say sinful things. And he must not hear sinful things. In my clan the nze has a bell that tingles tied to his bag. The purpose of the bell is to give sufficient warning that a holy man is passing, whenever he is abroad, so that people will be careful, because if someone says an unholy thing to his hearing, he has right to levy a fine, which must be paid without delay. The nze is distinguished by this red fez which must always be on his head.

The nze is the Igbo nazarite. Samson was a biblical model of the nazarite. How many letters are shared by nze and nazarite?

The OSU or Oruma

The osu, in some sections of Igboland and oru-ma in the Nsukka area of Igboland are auxiliary priests in the Igbo religion who lost status, and employment when the colonial authorities replaced Omenana with Christianity as the religion of the Igbos. Having being replaced, and their role and function forgotten and misunderstood, they presently suffer discrimination from other Igbos.

The osu have direct parallels in biblical Judaism. It is completely established and above ambiguity of any kind among the Igbo that the osu were people whose ancestors served in the sanctuaries that the Igbos set up in Igboland.

There were some that were dedicated by other people to serve G-d in Omenana, forever.
Some also elected to serve G-d as auxiliary priests in perpetuity.
In ancient Israel, the Gibeonites were dedicated, to serve in the house of G-d, forever. Samuel was dedicated by his mother to serve in the house of the Lord forever. We have seen two examples that paralleled the Igbo experience. Following is another one: The Gibeonites were not to be harmed. King Saul contravened the solemn vow of Joshua, and killed some of them. Under King David they had their pound of flesh back. Among the Igbo, one must never hurt an osu physically. General Joab who sought to avail himself of this protection and immunity when King Solomon pursued him, went into the House of G-d, caught hold of the horns of the Temple, because ancient Israelite law gave immunity to an Israelite that sought protection from pursuers by taking refuge with G-d Remember, some Igbo became servants/auxiliary priests by running into the sanctuaries for protection.

These people are in trouble presently. They have been replaced by Christian priests, their functions forgotten, misunderstood, scorned as pagan service. Accordingly they are as I said earlier, discriminated against. This has taken its toll on the truth that rests behind the Igbo people’s connection to ancient Israel and the Jewish people. However, it is not over yet. The Igbo are realizing that they are not truly like the rest of the tribes and people that surround them. We are at our core, a mixture of the lost tribes and those Judeans that were exiled at the time of the Roman conquest of the Land of Israel. Josephus recorded that millions of Judeans were in fact sold into slavery to Africa. Thank G-d we are returning.
