Oga leave stories. I am not buying any of that nonsense. Like i said last night, if it hadn't been revealed a family member was behind the butchery of that guy in Enugu (or so), and we have had just pictures to go by, I am ONE BILLION PERCENT SURE it would have been blamed on "Fulani herdsmen".

How can we just continue blaming these guys for all such incidents that happen in remote areas without proof?

Two days ago, in my village, a guy lured a friend of his (both are criminals by the way) to some bush path where he had a couple other guys waiting, and had him butchered over some deal that went bad. Such an incident could easily have been blamed on herdsmen if the truth hadn't come out.

I am not a fool and will not accept these things without evidence. Granted, there are some criminal herdsmen out there, but so also are there criminals from every part of the country. If we keep attributing all crimes to herdsmen while the real culprits still lurk in the shadows, we might NEVER get to put an end to the crimes.

NANS KWARA CONDEMN THE BARBARIC ACT OF DR. AJIBOYE SUB DEAN FACULTY OF ENGINEERING UNILORIN

"In an unjust society silence is a crime "

We are distressed to hear the unconstitutional act of the Sub Dean Faculty of Engineering Unilorin by slapping the Student Union President of the university.

It was reported that the President Shobowale Lukman left for the CBT centre since morning and had not even eaten at all so as to get there early and help the students.

On getting there, He tried Soliciting for students of the college of health sciences oke-oyi who had been there since so that they can write their exam early and go back on time due to distance.
Adding that he was directed to the office of the secretary and the CBT centre and on getting there, he met them talking and decided to wait till they were done talking and Dr Ajiboye noticed him waiting and told him to step back which he did, and again told him to again, he did and then told him to get out and that he tried explaining that he is the students union president and before be knew it, he dipped his hands in his eyes.

However, we appreciate the Vice Chancellor Professor Abdulganiy Ambali for calling the Student Union into order and assuring that justice will be put into order in due course. Its sardonic that the Dr. Ajiboye only wants to tarnish the image of the university that is well known for zero tolerance in term of indiscipline.

We equally appreciate the Student Union of the better by far University of Ilorin for the maturity displayed and standing firm for justice to prevail.

While we await the expedite action of the university, I enjoin all the students to be law abiding as we will not relent in our bid in catering for the welfares of the entire students in Kwara State.

In conclusion, no one is above the law and every man deserves justice.

We say NO to injustice!!!

We support Unilorin SU!!!

The writer has done so well in bringing up this issue as regards post graduate programme in Nigerian universities.
The case is so pathetic here in the south east. Post graduate students are treated as non entity. Lecturers behave like they don't have children and as such frustrate students out of their programmes.
Imagine a lecturer telling a student to resign from his place of work in order to be the students supervisor. The only means for paying for all fees and dues comes from this job. Is it fair?
