franciskaine: A ministerial position for Amaechi is a failure to him, because he so much desired the VP slot that he schemed, plotted, lavished looted Rivers State money for it. But in the end he lost it all. 1 Like |

MRSANITY: Yeah right! Amaechi is not interested in the VP slot. You and your owambe brothers think you can decieve low suspecting Nigerians with your agenda, double standard, manipulations and propaganda. You think Nigerians are as low minded as your Amaechi. Gone are those days. Nigerians are now smarter than that. Oga propagandist, please read below a press statement realesed 2 days ago from Amaechi's Rivers state APC regarding his VP ambition and tell me how far later. opko! http://dailypost.ng/2014/12/15/mind-business-apc-replies-pdp-buhariamaechi-ticket/ The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Sunday asked the presidency to stop its obsession with the party’s internal decision processes and decisions. In a statement by the spokesperson of the APC in Rivers State, Eze Chukwuemeka, on Sunday, the party reacted to a tweet by presidential aide, Doyin Okupe. Okupe had on Thursday tweeted that a joint ticket involving APC’s presidential flag bearer, Muhammadu Buhari, and the Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, as Vice President, would be a “fatal error”. Responding, Chukwuemeka said “This is an issue that does not concern Dr Okupe, who is not a stakeholder in APC but the fact remains that if Buhari/Amaechi ticket is a fatal error then Jonathan/Sambo ticket is not only a disaster but an ectopic pregnancy that must be evacuated to save the life of the mother, in this case our nation. “Anyone who fails an examination is asked to repeat; but when the failure is so dismal the person is asked to leave as Nigerians are asking President Jonathan and VP Sambo to leave as they have not only failed woefully but have endangered our nation to the extent that the need of Buhari/Amaechi ticket becomes imperative to save our nation from imminent extinction”, Mr. Eze said. He also said Mr. Okupe’s comment is a sign of cowardice by the Presidency, “which lives in perpetual fear of Mr. Amaechi and has been having nightmares since news filtered out that Mr. Amaechi is in strong contention to emerge as Mr. Buhari’s running mate.” The spokesman insisted that a Buhari/Amaechi ticket in 2015 was APC’s best bet of removing the PDP from power. “With the myth surrounding Buhari, combined with the bravery and sagacity of Gov. Amaechi, PDP’s days in the Aso Presidential Villa will surely become history by 2015. 2 Likes |

Jonathan perhaps succumbed to the pressure to serve a single tenure or remained silent when the issue of service duration was being deliberated. His argument however remains that he did not put a pen on any such agreement. In a civilized society, once it’s not in black and white, it never existed. |

emiye: Do you think a highly corrupt and insensitive Issa Hayatou cares about human life or your so called general elections. If he does not care about over 5000 lost souls due to Ebola and the further exposure that the competition would most likely present, what now makes you think he cares about your BOKO Boys?? Listen! Hayatou is now on a life and self saving mission to host this competition any which way. Even if ISIS offers to host this competition, Hayatou would gladly say YES SIR, with all pleasures. |
Politics / Issa Hayatou's CAF: NFF Must Watch Out For Bad Officiating In Pointe Noire by DidierKing: 8:51am On Nov 14, 2014 |
History and pattern has shown that Issa Hayatou and his Cameroonian FA are miles politically astute than its Nigerian counterpart. This accretion is most likely to play out again on Saturday as Nigeria battles Congo in Pointe Noire. It is no longer news that Morocco has bluntly refused to host the 2015 edition of AFCON sighting Ebola. What is news now is that Angola and Ghana has equally shut their doors on CAF sighting short notice. January is around the corner and as it is now, CAF must be under intense pressure to save itself from the embarrassment of 2015 AFCON cancellation. Particularly as the whole world is watching. Following refusals by various FA’s to host the competition, Hayatou will most likely by now, be finalizing his plan to use Saturday’s qualifier as a bargaining tool into getting the Nigerian FA to host the tournament. The logic and instruction to CAF officials, referees would be precise and simple, knock off Nigeria and they would come begging to host the competition in order to save themselves from the embarrassment of non-participation . Nigerian leaders, sports inclusive are politically inept and naïve when it comes to international politics. They are never proactive, So I won’t be surprised if they fall for this bait this time. Only time shall tell. |

Nigeria is a joke! IQ is low. Reasoning and common logic of most citizen especially youths are screwed or withdrawn. Majority of Nigerians allow foreign and local media houses shape their thought processes. Few intelligent minds simply ignore all the imbecilic activities going on in the zoo cos its simply pathetic. Until these simple questions get answered all I see is conspiracy and a well rehearsed script. Why has no singe picture of any of the girls gone viral in this modern age of social media prevalence? These girls are teenagers and are supposed to have face book, twitter, whats app accounts. Remember not one but over 200 of them were recorded missing. No single picture or narrative from any of them or their friends. In any given hostel...at any given time around the clock, any where in the world there must be a student or group of students either on SMS, making a phone call, chatting on a social media at the time of the incidence. How is it that no single student out of the over 200 or any of their friends were able to make an alarm or give an account? There is no terrain - no matter how rugged- in this world where over 200 individuals would be transported over 200 KM - being the distance between Chibok to the Cameroon mountains or say Sambisa Forest - without the support of any sitting government. Who provided the logistics? How is it that no one sighted this max exodus of over 200 individuals over 200 KM so as to give account? Why were the following individuals not abducted as well? The female principal who claimed to be present during the kidnap or she is she haram? The female teachers who witnessed the kidnap The daughters of the principal and teachers According to WAEC, why didn't the daughters – two in number - of the principal and one each of the teachers show up for the exams that they registered for? Who wan miss important exam like almighty WAEC? Why are the so called Northern elders suddenly (after the arrival of the Americans) proposing a negotiation with the hitherto faceless members of the insurgents after years of denial? Why the sudden and perpetual silence of a world power like US after being invited to fish out the so called missing girls? 4 Likes |

[quote author=Gbawe] Grade A caveman, what illustrates your backward mind more than all the ugly and prejudiced conclusions you are making here? Hypocrisy is common to all men whether Chinese, Black, white, Hausa or Yoruba. Yet it is only an underdeveloped mind like yours that will argue that an entire ethic group is defined by a singular characteristic common to humanity. It shows you are operating from a base grounded in prejudice. This is why I will continue to tell people like you to mind your own business. You have nil objectivity towards others and can only contribute negativity when talking about them so why don't you then spare everyone your jaundiced and prejudiced opinion by keeping such to yourself? [/q I wont call you names, I will leave readers to be the judge: Let's dissect The races you mention and lets be truthful: CHINESE - If it was in China, all the so called Oba's would have been rounded up by now and publicly executed. They wont deny or be hypocritical about it. They would be courageous and face the issue square on. You and I know its true. BLACK - Its a fact that the ONLY Black race that would openly deny and be hypocritical about such weighty issue is the Yoruba Ethnic Group. You and I know its true WHITE - Yes, this race is hypocritical some worth, but they rarely betray their own. But if they do, they wont live in denial. You and I know its true HAUSA - Not that I am sympathetic to their cause but the Hausa traditional institutions wont do this. They would rather tell it to Abiola's face they aren't supporting him. Never will they betray him.You and I know its true YORUBA - 'l leave this race to the readers to comment. You and I know its true 9 Likes |
