Thanks for understanding my stand and I totally agree with you.

Well people sexing their selves before marriage is totally their business in my own view unless its a case of rape_ or minor.
The only reason we have a say in this case is because the issue was brought to social media, there are a lot of 18 year olds having sex on a steady with even men older than 30 without marriage.
I would need your advice from time to time. Can we communicate privately ?

Thank God you used the word "married"
The intent of the dead man was not to marry the girl but to sex_ her to stupor, and he got killed in the process,my earlier comment was directed towards that and deserved every like it got.
I think the blame should be apportioned equally or the man getting more blamed because he has been an adult for a couple of years.
Besides he took the drugs himself with the hope of sleeping with the girl to his satisfaction.
He is actually over old enough to know what is right or wrong
Actually. You raised legitimate points and sound decent in expression. We should all learn from the morale of the story. Which in my opinion is, once bitten, twice shy.

I would still like to learn more on the significance of being "consented to marriage". Because the way relationships are, people sex themselves through it, with or without being induced by drugs.

Berbierklaus:
Oga please calm down.
the age different between then is 12 good years.
She is an adult at 18 but they are not of the same generation.
Besides the relationship between them does not look like one with moral backing eg marriage,he probably contracted her for sex.
That was the meaning I was tryna give with that phrase
But it was baseless and misinformed and a lot of folks liked the comment. There are men in their 40 and 50's who marry girls in their late teens and early twenties and society do not frown on it. You should be questioning the girls character and upbringing. I think she should be old enough to know what is right from wrong.

Can a 30 year old man father an 18 year old girl ? You should think before you type. You sound like a sadist.

Xensity:
Is this your own definition of heart break? Do you mean heart break or being turned down? Because heartbreak entails more than just a girl not liking you. It entails emotionally and financially investing in someone, being told by the person that she loves you, committing and sacrificing for her while believing that the both of you have a future together, and then one day she decides to walk out of your life, or you realize that she is cheating on you with another person. Crying over something like this is definitely not crying over spilled milk.
You made valid points mahn. But if you are a chiller and a Gee with ears on the ground, you should see the signs of you being taken to Hustler's paradise and bail out with a parachute before the milk come crying foul.

Yellow cards every where bro... come on cool. Be a chiller. It helps a great deal and also in finding a long term committed wifey cheesy.
RomanceWhy Do Guys Fear Heartbreak ? by digitite(op): 4:24pm On Dec 28, 2016
I mean, mahn lets face it. There is much to do than cry over spilled milk. If a girl doesn't like you, she just doesn't and there is no reason to whine over the issue. But why is the reverse the case among some guys ?

dainformant:
A former polish parliamentarian and President, African Institute, Hon. John Godson, yesterday visited an aged woman who had a very positive influence on him while he was growing up in Abia state. According to him, the woman saw good in him despite the bad character he portrayed and the negative prophesies he received at a very tender age.

Read what he shared below;

Today I visited a special woman - a woman who had a very positive influence on me while I was growing up. I had not seen her for 33 years. Let me tell you about this woman. Her name is Mrs Anyanele from Isiala Mbano. Between 1976 and 1982 I was growing up in the school premises of Nbawsi Grammar school- where my dad was the Agric master. I was a rebel to the core. I started using tobacco at the age of 8. Started smoking and drinking at 11.

Starting chasing girls at 11. Twice I ran away from home for two weeks. I was a thief and there was no door I could not open.Everyone spoke evil of me. The future that was prophesied by all was that I would end up killed someday as an armed robber. But our neighbor - Mrs Anyanele saw a different person in me. She always called me "Ezigbo" (Good boy) and spoke well of me. She saw the good in me. She looked beyond all the evils I did. Today I celebrate her. She is over 80 and I will never forget her and all those who believed and prayed for me.

Dear friends- look beyond actions of rebellious children and begin to speak to their true destiny. If God can change me and bring me to where I am today- He can change anyone- no matter how hopeless. I must assure you I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't go through those times of rebellion.

And by the way - if you know her children - thank them for me. The ones I remember are: Nnanna Anyanele, Juliet Anyanele (NTA), Chidinma Ugorji, Ihuoma huh. May God bless them and exalt them.

In love and in marriage there values and there are skills.

Hopeful
Compassionate
Embracing
Empathic
Patience

these are all values and you cannot train it, its just part of the personality and nature of the individual. This is what a person acquire in gene from a pedigree.

Good cook
Cleans house
Educated
Working class

these are skills and any girl can be trained to acquire and perfect competencies in these skills. This is what parents knock into us and make habits.

How do i know these things? I hang with old people. Find some very old people in your family or neighborhood to buddy with. The problem with us youths is we dismiss these old people as uneducated and uncredible for counseling. They are the best counselors i have found in my life and haanging around them has paid off tremendously. grin
Thank you very much for this wise post. You are enriched.

Bro, I'm a realist. A man earning N100k per year which is less than N20k per month isn't fit for marriage yet. A good wife can turn bad at the face of extreme hardship.

I advise you go for a working class woman. A lady that maanages her own money is fit to manage a home unlike an adventurous undergraduate on campus.
Guy, I earn that per month. And besides I have an International Diploma in ICT Management and great certification that could fetch me 500k per month with time. So money won't be the problem. Just a lady that will be focused and managed things well as you highlighted. I don't think I am ready with undergraduates drama's and games...
