Hello people! Just a few days ago, Al Ahly FC of Egypt confirmed that as part their centenary celebratons, they will take on Barcelona in Cairo this May. Recall that Ahly played against Barca's arc rivals and Europe's most successful club, Real Madrid, in August 2001. They won that match by a lone goal scoed by unknown Nigerian striker Sunday Ibrahim. Incidentally, football Authorities in Tanzania have announced that they will be hosting the GALACTICOS (Real) this summer. Recall also that Man United were in South Africa last summer where they took part in a four-team tourney featuring three top PSL sides. Man U's Premiership rivals,Tottenham Hotspurs, were in Nelson Nandela's country in 2005. Even little countries like Mauritius and Cape Verde have played host to top European clubs! What is happening to Nigeria? |

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've listened to 2face speak several times and he does't sound as bad and incoherent as you guys want us to believe. But the fact is that Nigerians genarally don't speak good english. Ghanians and Gambians speak much better english. |

Our own Jay Jay Okocha speaks up to five languages including french and German. But there is one language not many other people speak more fluently that him: FOOTBALL. |

Kanu is in that kind of form some players usually display in the twilight of their careers. It definitely wouldn't last for too long. But one thing is for sure: Kanu is the most successful footballer to emerge from Nigeria in recent times. He is indeed a source of inspiration and pride to us all. |
