Half of whatever Nigeria earns from oil in a day goes to these companies! Irekefe panel in the early 80s established the fact that in most pump stations, there are no metering of any sort. Essentially, oil companies will load oil into oil tankers and then quote figures to the Nigerian government through the ever comatose NNPC!

This only happens in Nigeria! Not even in Kuwait or Libya will this happen.. Countries basically under western control! Part of the reason why western governments only make "silent noises" about government brutality in Nigeria is because of this reasonn!
