Yup! and not only do u need better gear, you also need to b able to balance between ur weapon power, ur health, & ur skill power. Diff enemies fight different ways, some rush at u in droves with deadly shotguns, some stay in cover & bombard u wit greenades & so on

I wont say am new to nairaland because this is the first place I got to for REAL information. However, this is my first post and I hope am not posting on the wrong thread to avoid getting bad.

I am trying to set up a game center. A serious one to be exact however, I need advice on the following;

Your thread is quite helpful but I have a couple of questions though;
1. How do I set price for adventure games. I mean its easy to set 50 bucks for most games (a game of soccer at roughly 10mins or a session of Call of Duty since its easy to set time in most of the modes except Campaign. Mortal Kombat can be priced per round). All these are easy to price but some other gamers might want to enjoy God of War, COD Campaign Modes, Drake's Fortune, Assassins Creed, or Phanthom Pain. The value customers will enjoy in this games is a direct function of how long they spend holding the pad. So, how do we price.

2. Second question. Am only about to set up my own Game Center and am interested in knowing how to best manage and control the players time since am trying to start with 4 game stations. Is it better to use the TV timer function or manually look at each game and physically stop the player when the time is up. The difference between these too options is that the player who now has to drop pad has no choice since the TV has gone off on its own as opposed to him arguing with the manager or begging for extra time. Is there any other option.

3. Can you guys help me with a list of "House Rules" I can paste around my shop. For example, no smoking, no kids in uniforms during school hours, no drinking from cups except packaged drinks to avoid accidental spills etc. Are there other rules you guys might suggest?

You seem to have the answers already, my advice would be -

1) You price the adventure games per hour

2) Use those TVs that have a countdown timer to switch the TV off

3) Can only think of just a few right now. 'Handle pad with care', 'Do not touch the consoles'

I know people have FIFA and PES tournaments all the time and all over the place but I was wondering if anybody played fighting games competitively in Nigeria.
I am a big fan and follower of the Capcom Pro Tour and ESL leagues. So many talented professional gamers from all over the world come together to compete in these tournaments, but Africa has been largely underrepresented - I've never even seen an African player - and I think this is because there aren't many, if any, professional-esque fighting game tournaments in Africa.
It wouldn't be very difficult to set one up - one would just need one or two consoles, a few games, and most importantly, public interest.

Rant aside, I like fighting games and I'm looking for people to play with. Online play is ideal for me cuz i don't like to move around too much.

The taken king is a DLC i.e downloadable content...when u update the game, u get taken king.
