It apens to ps3 slim too oo (tho its rare), I can authoritatively tel u dis cos its apenin' 2 my 120GB ps3 slim ryt nw. I've found a way to fix it tho (tutorials on youtube), all I nid nw is 2 find som tins I wld nid in fixin' it

pc guru: My PS3 been having issues, usually i noticed it goes off when playing some certain games so i stopped playing it for a while, now 10 minutes into the game it restarts on its own showing the red light am using the 80gb PS3 might have to get another one just wanted to know if the PS3 Slim do not succumb t this type of problem. thanx house or if anyone had a similar issue and somehow got it fixed i'd appreciate some help,because after taking it to oshodi it dawned on me that those guys are hacks. thanx house this is another Sony product dying one me.

I've jailbroken my ps3 via a dongle & I hv lots of games (abt 70), bt I wnt 2 knw hw I can go abt tweakin'/re-hackin' my ps3 in order 4 me 2 b able 2 play latest games lyk PES12, Battlefield3, & d likes of dem...som1 holla me wiv answers, thnk u in advance

has anyone here ever experienced the so called ''Yellow Light of Death'' on their jailbreaked Ps3? Right now my Fat Ps3 beeps three times and switches off when am playing games from the HDD. The red console light keeps on flashing but will nt come on by pressing the PS button on controller except u switch it off manually from the back switch. From internet they say its a major hardware failure with hardly any soution for now. [color=#990000][/color]
