Good morning guys.
I have been battling with fowl pox for the pass 2weeks now, I bought a drugs to treat the fowl, I administer the drugs to my cockerel for 5 consecutively days, after the administration, there is no improve, I now repeat the same procedure for another 3days.. Things begins to worst.
Some of them comb is decaying , some are not active, some as lost weight..
Someone told me what can feed I do give to them , I told him I do fed dem with top feed , but I do mix the feed with Eri Ogi ( a kind of maize meal extracted from maize wen processing pap ).
He told me to stop mixing it to the feed, so I stopped , that was 5days ago
Eva since then , no still improvement.
Pls guys I need you gurus to help me out bf Iose all my cockerel

pls,what quantity of procaine penicillin and water for injection, and for how many days will they be given for pox?tanx.

For cockerel, you may use more maize than soybeans, since cockerel are more of grower.
If you know about fodder, it will be good you introduce it to your cockerels to supplement or even replace 80% commercial feed.

EMMAACHILE:
Use a foreign concentrate like koudjis and combine with maize, soyabeans cake and groundnut cake
Use this formula after two weeks
50kg - 325 kg maize - 75kg soyabean cake - 50 kg groundnut cake
This will be richer than even most local Nigerian super starter and cost here is about 3,200-3,300 per bag

First, that attack is not from a snake. Snake do not attack the neck or the jugular.

They also kill from almost hidden two point bite to administer poison or by constricting the prey.

Second, you may have a prowling wild cat and some wild rats can do that too.

Check around again, this time, check the roof of the chicken house for gaps. That is where your predatory cats come from.

Good morning guys,I was shock wen I saw another 2 cockerel on the floor this morning.. Making 15 in total been murdered by this unseen snake in just a month ..
The room housing them is secured , I use bokoharam net for the door and windows , I block all holes with cement and yet dey still find another route ..
Pls help a brother.
What other ways can I use to kill or pursue this snake away from my farm.

I think there is this method i heard of don't how effective and true it is shaa...
You know snake swallow fowl eggs and crush it between their neck to enhance digestion..so from what i was told you set a trap with boiled eggs..and once they swallow it they wont be able to crush it around their necks area..that will hinder their movement and may leave them paralysed..
I dont knw how true that is shaa..but you can try it since an egg is just 50naira.
