So, my phone got stolen last week and inside it is my major sim card that I have been using for over 6years.

The line in question is linked to my NIN but the initial Sim registration was done by someone else. I no longer have the sim pack as well.
Ps: I bought the sim as already registered.

So, i went for a welcome-back last week Saturday in MTN Head-Office at UWANI, ENUGU and the guy at the desk told me that since the initial sim registration was done by someone else, that they will have to contact their Lagos office for approval to welcome-back the sim and the whole process will cost me #10,000.
In that same office, my friend did his welcome back two weeks ago for #1k.
A part of me felt that the guy wants to just make extra cash from be because it was just him and another customer service that is sitted far from him that were working that very day.
But I want to be sure if his claims are true.

Pls if you have had any experience like this, enlighten me.
What I want to know is if it will cost that much to welcome back your sim if it wasn't registered to your name even if it is linked to your NIN.
Have you done any welcome back like that?

The first job I got after service the pay was 50k with 6 months of probation, 3 months after there was change of management. The new management ask that we apply again which we all did and we were given another appointment letter to start another indefinite probation period with deductions for lateness and being absent. I never got complete salary. I dont miss work neither do i come late but steady deductions, (money that only takes care of my transport fare and nothing more) one morning I woke up angry after receiving 44,580 as salary the first call i received was from the COO telling me to come early that we have a new client we need to deploy internet service at her home before the client leaves for work. I just texted her on WhatsApp that I’m done with the job that i dont find any motivation to continue.

E shock her cos at that time everything in that department revolved around me, others quit earlier

First thing, Data Management programme no longer exist in NOUN. You either do Communication Technology, Information Technology or Computer Science. So, be ready to choose one of the two. With the above, u cannot proceed with clearance for the said programme but rather will have to apply for a change of programme or reapply for another programme using your former payment details (this won't be as straight forward as many things and procedures have changed). Go to the nearest Study and see what they can do. It's possible to use your former payment but it will take sometime for them send mails and await responses. Instead, get another form at 5k and apply for any course of your choice that u are qualified for aside Data Management. This will help you avoid unnecessary delays.

NB: Registration is every semester. Your first semester fee could be around 64-70k ± depending on your programme. The subsequent semesters could be as low as 38-56k ± depending on your programme as well.
