This is a lie. OP disregard this post. There are jobs for UI designers and front end developers. Whoever posted this is probably still living in 2009. I can't believe no one has challenged this post yet. There are UI designers that don't even write any code, they just design with sketch, figma, photoshop and they're high in demand. Software development has grown complex hence the need for diversification. As a front end developer you'll learn JS frameworks like angular, react, vue etc. You can even choose to be a UI/UX designer and not write any code.

I can't imagine the kind of projects you'll be working on that you'll be able to use ready made templates for. Good designers are rare. If you have a thing for design pls go for it. Not everyone will be full stack.

One thing is, people usually don't know there is a difference between web design and web development. As a web designer, you don't write server-side codes (e.g PHP, Node.js, Python etc).. Web designers mostly focus on HTML, CSS and Javascript. But as a web developer, your Job involves both the front-end and the server-side.. You learn all. HTML, CSS, Javascript, and any of the server-side languages. so the question now is "Do you want to become a web designer or a web developer?"..

My advice though- Go for web development. I'm talking from a developer's perspective. considering the country we live in, becoming just a web designer will fetch you little. Most times, developers don't even involve designers in their projects.. They often get already made web templates online (premium or free) and customize them to suit their needs before writing the server-side codes to power these templates.

The web templates you see on online markets like themeforest, codecayon etc are works of web designers, they design those static templates and put them online for sale. But the thing is, a website won't function with just those static templates, they have to be dynamic and that's where the web developer comes in. But the fun about being a developer is that you also know what the designer knows , though not in-depth. You can take any template designed by a web designer and alter the HTML, CSS and javascript codes to suit your needs cuz you also know these languages. But the web designer can't make those templates dynamic cuz he does not write server-side scripts.

I guess my little input can help you chose the right path.
Infact you have done justice to my question and I must say I love your type of person, here is my contact 08062818205 I am sure we can take the relationship beyond nairaland, I don't mind if you can drop yours or better still chat me on whatsapp. Thanks bro I appreciate you
Romance / Re: I Want To Breakup With My Girlfriend For This Reason. by dimple571991(m): 9:16am On Oct 11, 2018
LaBozz:
I have been dating this girl for almost a year now and things have been going smooth with us until recently. I just don't know were the desperation for marriage came from. Now we barely have a normal conversation without the marriage issue coming up.

Though I don't have a steady job per say, I am a business man and am able to make myself a good some of money every week which isn't so bad. She is also working and makes around 60k every month. I have been telling her to relax a little bit so we can plan properly and get ourselves ready for the life time journey together, but she won't listen.

Her own is that in her place once a girl has graduated from school everyone is expecting her to get married. She will even bring up issues of the young girls getting married in her church and she is the only single were she works even though she is actually the youngest in her office.

She is just 24 years of age and almost 25 so she keeps saying she set a deadline for herself to get married before 25. The worse part is that sometimes she tries to threaten me that so many guys are asking for her hand in marriage but she doesn't want them, its me she wants.

This whole desperation is getting on my nerve and I really don't want to rush into marriage because her people want her to get married. So am thinking of calling the relationship off so that she can go and marry one of those men she said is asking her hand in marriage and I will wish her all the best.

Just so you know, am not trying to be tribalistic here, she is Yoruba and said that's how things are done in their culture so I don't know if that's true or she is just making all that up.
Bro calm her down and make her realize marriage is not what one rush into,u re a man with foresight, but she I think is more concerned about the marriage not the life inside marriage, if you are not reading due to some reason (reasonable ones o) let her know, and if she can't wait let her move on, I am Yoruba man that is her own mentality not a Yoruba culture

Why wait till December when you can start learning now... There are lots of good materials on web design and graphics online. Use google and you will be happy you did. Most successful web developers are self-taught. Even if you learn from someone or a school, your passion, creativity and ability to develop yourself is what determines the level you attain.

This is not a surprise to us keystone bank customers cos even from the poor services they offer to us, low customers turn out in almost all their branches and poor facilities we don't have to be told that the bank is broke. I only go to keystone bank in days that I don't want to waste too much time queuing up in banks . It's only in keystone bank I witnessed both staffs and customers using hand fan for more than 3 months in fact that bank don't have a single air conditioner.

DOUGHNUT 1KG FLOUR
Note that standard dougnut is way better than the rubbers they call dougnut which you see some people selling

MATERIALS NEEDED
A table,a bowl, spoon for measurement, scraper for lifting the dough into vegetable oil

INGREDIENTS
Flour,sugar,powdered milk,yeast butter,water,vegetable oil,yeast,egg

PROCEEDURES FOR 1KG
1.with scale pan on ur scale make sure the scale is at "0" then measure 1kg flour and pour it into a bowl,
2.measure 100g of sugar and add to the flour
3.3 teaspoon of powdere milk
4.measure 4 spoon of yeast and add to the flour
5.add one piece of egg i mean un cooked
6.add 100g of butter to the flour, then
Pour into all the mixtures half water of plastic coke container
7.mix all the ingredients together if it is hard or it needs water add litle until you have a soft and tender dough, when it has formed dough take it out the bowl and place it on the table, press and beat it until the dough is tender,if the dough is hard u can add more water, but when adding water always make it little by little,so that the dough will not be watery
8.when u have beaten and press the flour(dough) on the table and u have a soft and tender texture the next thing is to portion the dougnut,on a surface leaving space between each portion,
Let your portioning be in the shape of ball, with the size of bottom of a small 60w bulb,
After some minutes u will notice the portion has risen when the dough u portion has risen to times two of the original portion
9.use the scraper to lift it gently from bottom into the oil, with the bottom facing up first.

THE VEGITABLE OIL FOR FRYING DOUGNUT
NOTE THAT after portioning your dough on a flat surface, put your oil om fire, the fire must not be too much ,reduce it to minimal, the oil must not be too hot because if it does the doughnut will not done in the inside,

To know if the oil is hot for frying, take little flour, pour it into the oil on fire,if it stays on the oil it is not hot for frying, but if the flour fries and disapper it in good for frying,

Then lift the dough into the oil and reduce the light because the oil is hot already,

To know if the part in the oil is good for turning lift it gently with spoon,if it gives a golden brown colour then turn the other side into the oil until it gives golden brown colour too,,

After that pack it out and fry the next batch, depending on the amount of veg oil and pot used, you can fry in 3 batches to avoid over rising of the ones not yet fried

Make sure the ones you have not fry dont over rise before frying it thats why you meed to be fast,if you see the light is not enough u can regualate it by imcreasing it a little bit

Use a wide pot for frying the doughnut so that the doughnut will have space to expand more in the oil,
Note that you should get 20 or 21 portions of doughnut from 1kg flour

Hello as regards preservatives in the production of food:as regards to cake and dough. Bakers use; 1.calcuim propionate(E282) is used mostly in bread to inhibit the growth of mould and 2: potassium sorbate(sorbic acid) E202. Sorbate preservative application in pastry .
Sorbic acid can be added directly into the flour or dough , the amount is generally 0.1% -0.15 % ( by weight of flour meter ) . Source:http://www.lubonchem.com/blog/?p=651

Going by the above application rate,if we take 0.1% to your flour rate of 1kg in your recipe : i.e 0.1% *1000=1g i.e less than 1 tsp

Pls note: I'm not here to spoil your market but to share knowledge that can save lives.i truly appreciate you and everyone who post in this forum. I'm sorry if you feel offended by my actions.thanks for sharing..sharing is caring
thanks for the observation
