Bro the thing is I'm not in any side relationship, if I breakup who will I date? I've always wanted marry a friend and someone whom I know pretty well. I'm looking at first quarter next yr and I don't want a girl (new) accept me coz she can sense I'm made(which I'm yet not) or ready to settle
guy but you know marriage is a long time thing.

And a man needs a woman who will respect him. Clearly she lacks respect.. Even for her mum. Not to talk of you.

If you break up, trust me you will date someone better.

And please don't have that mentality ladies are only coming in for your money..else you won't even meet anyone..

I used to have that mentality but when I looked At my bank account, I asked myself, how much do I even have that I am thinking she will come for a paltry sum when there are big guys out there whose tithes can pay me for one year

If u want to marry, you have to weigh at least 10ladies before you can be sure one is the right person..

8. Cash Hidden In A Couch

When three college students bought a secondhand couch from a charity store for $20, they had no idea of its actual value. Roommates Lara Russo, Cally Guasti, and Reese Werkhoven discovered envelopes of cash totaling $41,000 when they brought the couch to their New Paltz home. Despite their excitement, the students decided to return the money to its rightful owner.

It turned out that the money had been kept in the couch by the husband of the woman who donated the furniture. The money represented decades of savings, including wages from the woman’s job as a florist .

For years, she had slept on the couch, unaware of its contents. But recent back problems had led her daughter and son-in-law to replace the couch with a bed.
After returning the money, the students received $1,000 as a reward for honestly.

Christianity Etc › Re: Write A Short Testimony, Whether Past Or Present. by dingbang(m): 9:22am On Sep 10, 2017
Well there was a time back when I was still an undergraduate in Madonna university, students were to attend a convention at one of its campuses so we all boarded buses provided by the school management and left for Elele. After the convention, we were scheduled to leave on a day and I overslept prior to the time. When I woke up, the buses that were to convey us back to my campus had already left and I was stranded. I called my general hall rep and he told me never to call him back, that I was on my own.

So I borrowed money and boarded another vehicle and left for school. While I was on the road, I got information that the bus that was conveying my campus mates was attacked by armed robbers and bullets were fired directly at the bus. No life was lost but some students were injured.

I just looked up to God and told him, Lord, you are beside me.

I still thank him today for his mercies upon my life. The unmerited favors he grants me. I know he sees me.

even if the post made front page in 2009, it wouldn't have been possible for it to make front page again because threads can only make front page once on nairaland forum.

I think it was a good thing it was preserved until today because the youths of nowadays need this message and the economy is really in shambles, jobs are being lost, people are getting sacked here and there.

Don't look at the date of the post. undecided Look at the points raised in the post. Are they still valid today, or have things changed? huh If they have changed, in what way have those changes been made, or what shape have those changes taken? sad

Our problem as a people, is that we do not conduct enough research and we do not track history. sad And those who do not learn from the past, are condemned to repeat it, in the words of George Santayana. Sometimes, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Its a paradox. On a different social platform, someone took a post made in 2007 and used it as a background to narrate changes that have taken place in his industry. And from the various perspectives of those who contributed on that forum, a lot of knowledge was shared, and many lessons were learnt. undecided
deepwater... I follow your comments and most of the time you make sense, but today, laudate is right... The thread is still valid even till tomorrow. We shouldn't look at the date but the content
