Song aint Arsenal quality period
I agree song isn't good enough for us just saying he played fine. We've got a lot of options in there to be giving song consideration.

friendlies and the main games are two different things in my own opinion but with these impressive wins we can think postively and hope we continue like this when the season starts.

I'll have to say I know very little about  Kieran Gibbs. I didn't have the chance of watching him on sunday but I've heard positve reviews about him. I agree what we need now is consistency. We can only get that if our key players remain fit and I believe our young players will start this season with more experience. We'll see a better performance no doubt this season. Nordveldt is another I know very little of but hes got good stats for his age.

yeah thats true AW always has a way surprsing us. I hope he does so because the way teams like Chelsea, Manu and Liverpool have been signing players is sometimes frightening thats when I look at it from the perspective that we've only had like two concrete signings in the transfer window whereas the aforementioned teams have had at least three even spurs have joined the club they completed the signing yesterday of Kevin-Prince Boateng one of the biggest talents in Germany.

I watched Royston Drenthe in the euro u-21 tournament and I can say this boy has got talent he is fast and a pretty good crosser of the ball not yet proven on the big stage though but we always know how to bring out the best from young players that have the talent. I think he'll fit into our game.

I have always liked the idea of Quaresma in Arsenal but whether that will become a reality is the question now that there are rumors here and there that liverpool are showing interests in him, reminding me of the Babel scenario.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by dinozzo(m): 1:26am On Aug 01, 2007
nothing really except this rumour everywhere that we're closing in on signing Lassana Diarra. Then there is also Quaresma which is just speculation nothing concrete, Martins also.

Ciara danecs better. In fact beyonce doesn't even dance at all. she shakes butt and rubs body and does like a snake.
na wetin we wan see be that grin.
Ciara is more of a tomboy she dances like a man, very energetic. I think shes a better dancer. But if I'm to choose whom to watch between the two I'll definitely go for Beyonce don't ask me why its obvious.

Tottenham have completed the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng from Hertha Berlin.

The Germany Under 21 international is regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Europe.

Tottenham have been chasing the 20-year-old for some time and they beat off interest from a host of clubs to land Boateng.

Boateng is excited at the prospect of playing in the Premier League with Tottenham.

"For me it is amazing to be in England," Boateng told the club's official website. "To be in London and playing for Spurs will be great for me.

"It has been my ambition to play in England, I am 20 now and am about to quickly realise my dream.

"I know that Spurs are a team who like to play offensive football. The club want to climb higher next season and I want to be a part of it.

"I watched the Premier League regularly in Germany, it is the most famous league in the world and I have always enjoyed it."

Spurs boss Martin Jol hailed the signing of Boateng and he believes he will be a valuable addition to the squad.

"Kevin is a talented player who plays for the Under 21 side of his country," said Jol. "You could compare him with the likes of Aaron Lennon and Tom Huddlestone in that he is an exciting player for now and the future.

"He is an attacking midfield player, very strong and that is one of his main assets.

"In Germany he is regarded as one of the biggest talents, we recognised this and went in for him."

Manchester United have sold Giuseppe Rossi to Villarreal with the move subject to a medical.

The Spanish side have beaten a host of Italian clubs to the highly-rated striker's signature.

Rossi spent the second half of last season on loan at Parma and he impressed at the Ennio Tardini.

United have decided to let Rossi leave Old Trafford as he is well down the pecking order in Sir Alex Ferguson's plans.

The impending arrival of Carlos Tevez from West Ham would push Rossi further out of the picture for a place in the starting XI and United have opted to let the Italian Under 21 international move on.

Villarreal have paid an undisclosed fee for the diminutive forward with the player expected to undergo a medical later this week before putting the finishing touches to the move.

Rossi will help fill the void left by the departure of Diego Forlan at Villarreal next season.

If this is true I think the price tag is just to put any interested party off because nobody in his right senses will buy a 31 year old for  €27million. But then again its Madrid involved, they make the most bizarre signings.

Its going to be a good one, less excitment than the fa cup final though. But the rivalry is there so I think its going to be a competitive match. Can't really say who will win.

Ferrari still feeling bitter about how no action was taken against the McClaren team. I think they should just forget about it and concentrate on the championship. I just hate seeing this kind of things in sports, it takes the excitement out of the game.

What a film, I've got to say its the best damn film I've seen this year, Oh wait a minute forgot 300 grin. It was cool, great effects had a good flow about it superb action scenes a bit overdone in some parts but hey what film isn't these days. It reminded me of the part one and three where the villians were awesome but I just didn't really like this new one, he was a bit shallow not strong in character IMO but was still ok. John Mcclaine was superb again in this one and the supporting cast was cool too.

I still see Federer winning the US open again. I just don't think anyone can beat him in big tournaments except for maybe Nadal who has only done so on clay. I've got to check the ATP site to see whats going on, I'm a bit behind. Nadal won something on clay I think two weeks back.
