Very good decision. You don't have to be a sore loser. That penalty decision from the referee is 100% accurate.

I said it here that the decision was super correct and that Enyimba should be fined and made to apologise to the refs association.
Only the apology remains plus ban on the player who ignited the fracas.

You started with so much attitude, ousting players even from the very get go as interim coach, snubbed key members of the last AFCON squad.

One would think you had a magic wand, now u must have seen that leadership is not easy and you must be really careful how you go about it, you even said during the post match conference that all Nigerians are coaches and think they know better.

Another utterly poor and embarrassing performance from the Eagles.

We are not just setup to win

Slow when with ball.
Loses shape off the ball.
Every attack will struggle with that Nigerian midfield.
Yet to see what Ndidi brings in as captain.
No zeal to win.

I hope the National Assembly can pass a bill to declare a state of emergency on the team.

Good u were there and things happened in real time before ur eyes, my conclusion was drawn from a clip on this thread where u can clearly see the Enyimba captain holding the striker and afterwards letting go.
He gave the assistant ref a decision to make and I still think it is a penalty.

I was there in the stadium, if I had known this will be contentious, I would had shot a video of it.

The referee didn't even give the penalty until he confirmed with the linesman on the covered stand side of the pitch. It was the linesman that pointed to the spot before the referee blew and also pointed to the penalty spot, the lineman has an unobstructed view of the incident, while the referee was blindsided by two players.

The fracas started when an Enyinba player went over and punched the linesman who first pointed to the penalty spot before the referee blew it as a penalty.

The ref was correct on this decision.

Enyimba should be fined and made to apologise to NPFL refs.

The midfield nightmare continues for Finidi just like his recent predecessors.

Since the departure of Victor Moses, Michael Obi, n a few other tough defense midfielders like Onazi, that part of our team has remained the weakest link.

Am sorry to say Iwobi is not the man u want to give such responsibility cos he lacks the strength,
the skill and the will power.

Reussite:
As usual very disappointing game. The players had different opportunities to score & kill the game but they were all lacklustre. If Dele Bashiru wasn't in the field, I wonder if SE would have registered a goal at all. The SA players themselves were utterly wasteful. They had more chances even but a draw on our soil is a good result for them.

Finidi is clearly blind for leaving Onauchu on the pitch for that long & not even testing a Boniface upfront. Lookman was surely absent minded in this game. Ndidi wasn't impressive.
Iwobi seemed like the only bright spark but was also guilty of doing too much. It's an overall disappointing game.

That's harsh, simply say he should get better or be left out of the team.

Turning out to be like Theo Walcot, they start so bright you will think they will become super stars but as time passes you will realise they have nothing else to offer.

You will never really understand what happens when people are appointed head coach.

I would never have dreamt Onuachu been in the starting XI.

When u look back at most of the coaches before Finidi it is pattern.

For Peisero it was Uzoho, U can never really understand their decision to stick with under performers, just maybe until we are in their shoes.

In the last 20 minutes they must have had at least 10 chances to score.

Those boys just cannot finish a ball to save their lives. Same problem at AFCON.
