i think u have a very high chance going by cumputer science cutoff in the last two years, just keep ur finger crossed ansd keep an eye on this thread for updates on the admisssion procduces

About doing runs in UI? FORGET IT! UI is still one of the school if not only school in Nigeria dat still uphold her integrity as regards admission transparency, not even a professor can help u, only God can, or why did u think some profs in UI send there children to other schools? it because they didn't meet d admission requirement and they can't help bend the rule. And if u give money to any body for help, i bet u, your money is a waste. Pray and trust God, and u'r in.

your ssce score is 34point and jamb 22.9 point, giving u total of 56.9 point.
going by cutoff in the last few years, 56.9 might not fetch your admission except u are from ELDS or localty,
but the joy of it is u still have an option of change of course

200 has always been UI cutoff, ever since i know UI, but any thing can happen, i believe in miracle and change

Hi frends, i had 209 in utme and my o'level are b2, b3, b3, c5, c6 and I want to study economics do I hav any chance to be call 4 d oral interview and do i hav to send my jamb and ssce 2ru mail or dey will just post those who r chosen on d net. Pls help me, I need your polite reply asap.

@Angela your 209 JAMB Score gives 20.9 & your O'level result gives u 32, A total of 52.9. Economics cut-off is usually in 73-74 range, So the state your from might help if its an ELDS. You might consider the change of course option,
** If u opt for the change of course, u can google "University Of Ibadan 2010/2011 Departmental Cut-offs" to aid u in choosing a course whose cut-off would favor you

Ife-wise, u're dping a great job here, i must commend u.
but i fink u're wrong about what u type about locality and ELDS, locality is Oyo state and ELDS is frm some states in d north and very few in d east, there is none in d south. Some ELDS states are zanfara, kogi, benue e.t.c.
it doesn't have any thing to do with best utme result atall.

@Ife Wise: Had 311 in my UTME, & my selected course is Petroleum Engineering. Firstly i want 2 know if NECO is accepted. Secondly, for my chosen course 'Petro. Engr', i knw just 4 relevant courses (Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry), the question is between Agric & Geography which would be used as the 5th?

UI is the first university to ever accept NECO for addmission, so u got no problem. But u got to prepare real hard for u interactive session cos they will want to brob u to know u indeed got dat superb UTME by urself

Im neither an andmission officer nor a professor, but a student of this great university wishing other people should have, the opurtunity i had some 4 years ago.
So, im here to our anvice on hw UI does her admission and also to give promt information as regard the anmission.
PLS NOTE: Don't let anybody deceive you dat he's going to do admission runs for u on payment of any kobo, dere is nothing of such in UI, nt even a prof. can do dat. UI works strictly on merit. I repeat, UI is strictly merit and don't pay a dine to anybody
