It's open source.
You can customise it the way you want. (you have control)
Unlimited browsing through vpn or tweak.
Swallow that ones first..

sorry its not just because of open source, symbian is open source and Qt is a very powerful program lang...but what happened to symbian OS? Guy what am trying to say is Major publishers support for an OS is the key now, not just open source, BADAS, JOLLA and Chrome OS all open source...

would recommend you remove du battery and get the latest battery doctor from playstore then open it and tap save power. Also trickle charge you battery once in a while

i guess BBM is coming to WP8 too, and EA game/EA sports have up their game fifa14 for WP8, and WP8 is doing better in market... You may want to ask how this one take concern tecno fanboys... But its only a matter time una go understand say competition is good

Stancity: I have made next launcher my default launcher.. but each time I open menu and click back button it brings default launcher up again.. I want next launcher to be permanent.

bro goto app manager on you device settings i.e Settings>APP the swipe the screen left until you get to the ALL tab, now press option key and select sort by name(if you dont see that option then ignor that step) Find the APP called launcher and open it, screw down on the app info page till you find an option for clear default, click on it and press the home key then feel the Magic. Why wouldn't i get p5 that performs better out of the box?

Why will you pay someone to tweak a new phone?
Many questions to ask.. Let me stop here..
Get p5 and see whether you will think of Salen it in the next 6 months?

SWG 1: i just saw the phone on YouTube with metalic side lining. camera not that good on low light. the phone looks solid with very clear display and plans temple run excellently even with the aid of motion censor. I tried searching for Tp5 but its like not internationally recognised

handled tecno p5 today, unlike em old entry level, the screen is sharp, noticed some lag when i left temple run in background and was installing other apps *it normal with 512MB droids anyway*
i dont rate bettery by what is writen on the pack sha... But bettery drops faster than my phone with sam 1800mAh also with a 4.8inch screen and its quad core.
Besides that P5 is a good phone for the price

Judinho59: You're right.. but, for me, I dislike custom ROMs.. doesn't make me feel Android.. and, lemme add that the custom ROM on P2, makes it lag.. it goes blank severally and I have to pull the battery for it to come back alive..

Abt the battery, its OK!.. I only bought P2 cos of the numerous praises gionee's been receiving.. but honestly, its not what I got..

P2 is now with my neighbor, as am expecting the cash this week..

I didn't post this in P2 thread just for peace.. #NoBeef

i will pick
GP2, though i admit tecno up their game on this one. Better PPI than M3,L3 and even over priced N7,. Main reason why i will pick P2 is that i dont use stock rom for more than a few days on any phone and 3G on both sim is an option i may find in a custom rom. Anyway TP5 is cool.

with cwm, you can backup your rom and restore it, you can also flash custom rom to your phone via this tool*NB* only flash rom you are sure of.

Giifted: @Directonpc, pls can I root my Gionee M1 with framaroot apk? After installing it, it displayed 2 options, Aragorn and Gandalf. Don't know which one to select. Pls help!!!

i will recommend you use motochopper, if you can get a computer use this method as it has been tested on mtk os 4.1 droids
