as per you should carry excess luggage or what? lol

nawa ooo

The man expected me to carry an extra luggage because I had a backpack and a traveling bag. Funny thing is that it wasn't even easy for me at Heathrow with just my luggage. I imagined if I had an extra.

Borrowed them almost 10K to process their coming. My husband and i told them they could stay with us for a while since its difficult to get apartments from Nigeria. They got a temp job and they paid their fees remaining. We asked when they wanted to get an apartmentafter 3 months, we were given a list of things they want to do before they start looking. Alott happened already,
You seem like a very nice person.
My wife was staying with a family the time she arrived in September. I paid this family 350 GBP every month for a room that's the size of a passage and no heating.

One time I visited the UK in November for a work trip, as I was about to leave, the family asked me if I could help them take some items back to Nigeria and I offered that I have some free space in my box and can carry the amount of their stuff that can fit in. Na so the husband start dey insult me. After I left (on a Tuesday), he evicted my wife on Friday same week.

Funny thing is my wife still laughs with these people. She's probably as nice as you OP.

Is there such a thing as “Temporal Nigerian Driver’s Licence”?
I’m hearing that for the 1st time. The only things I knew had ‘temporal’ were voters card & NIN slip (in those days).
But temporal Nigerian Driving Licence? That’s definitely a first (for me)
You obviously left Naija a long time ago, or didn't come in contact with someone that got a license recently.

FRSC issue a temporal driver's license that you can laminate if you so wish while you wait for the permanent one to be delivered.

This is exhausting. You mean you have been on pre-order since 13th January and mine is since 27th and i am even complaining. If i am buying from a shop, I hope i won't encounter address issues or something?

To the Gurus in the house, what are the demerits of buying from shop instead of order? Also, how do i change my current status from Pre-order to Proper Order so I can get my device fast?

@telim and @directonpc was your order at anytime showing Order status closed or preorder? Was the over 400k debited all at once or it was only 32k that was debited and the the remaining balance after it was shipped. Please help me so I can make up my mind by tomorrow whether to proceed, cancel and request refund, buy from shop or try Dotmac Network here in Abuja.
I wonder why it's so hard for you to contact customer care. You get money to give greedy black marketers sha

Thank you for your response but would it make any difference if I've taken the vaccine before. Because I took it about two years ago at my state and was given a card as proof but not the yellow card. Thank you
Carry the card go with yourself then.

Hi boss, please how can I get the yellow fever card and the cost. I'm flying with Egypt air next week. Thanks
I got it for 6k at the airport in Abuja. Try to Google and ask around before you travel. Or be at the airport like 5 hours before your trip.

how did it go?
I arrived safely. No drama or scare on the plane.

There was an hour delay from Abuja but we still arrived Cairo and London on time for me to board a national express bus I booked before traveling.

How far the palm oil? Did it survive 72hrs trip?
Yes it did oo. I packed it in bottle water container (half filled), refrigerated it overnight till it's frozen, then put them in a polytene and wrap with sellotape. In summary, the oil made here without any spill.

They didn't allow me to board till I got a yellow fever vaccine card.

If anyone plans to book Egypt air from Nigeria, make sure you have that card.

Also during our stop in Cairo, we waited for about 4 hours before were taken to the hotel paid for by the airline. Some Egypt air staff even told us no accommodation for us till we started opening eyes for them.

I got to the UK yesterday afternoon, then my new base in the evening.

Started my trip 3pm on Wednesday. Can't wait to see what the UK has in place for me. I shall do my best to make it a productive stay smiley

Plan to have fun, for long layovers (not sure of the duration) they will lodge you in a 5 star hotel in the city with good food. If you have time, you can tour. Just make sure you don't miss the bus conveying you back to the airport for your next flight.
This experience was with Egyptair? My flight is today in the afternoon. smiley

I want to book my flight and I am wondering if there would be any issues if I only did a single instead of a return. Would I encounter any issues at the Airport?

If you're going to school or are a student dependant you don't need return ticket.
