The day Fashola was appointed the Minister of Power, Works and Housing I knew that was the beginning of the end for him. The ministry of power alone is much of a headache to handle. I have seen people turn down ministerial appointment because they felt not comfortable with the status quo. Come to think of it, Is it that there are no other competent individuals in Nigeria to handle the Ministry Works and Housing? I think he forgets so soon that power (light) is the yardstick Nigerians uses to measure the performance of the government.
