The most cruel people are your socalled politicians from the south of Nigeria who pretend they don't see that deamalgamation of north and south of Nigeria is the only solution to insecurity in the whole of present Nigeria.
The far north of Nigeria say they can't do without sharia criminal justice system.

The southern part cannot touch sharia criminal justice system even with a long pole.

So if not for cheap cash from crude oil holding Nigerian politicians together, the masses from north and south wouldn't mind dissolving Nigeria into more manageable countries.

This can't be divorced from the insecurity that ravages the land and make farmers abandon their farmlands.

Insecurity caused by adoption of sharia criminal justice system in the far north Nigeria. Shortly after Sani Yerima introduced sharia criminal justice system in Zamfara state and it quickly spread to the other 11 far northern Nigeria states, Boko Haram emerged.
The bandits and mass kidnappers for ransome are offshoots of Boko Haram. They use the ransome to buy more sophisticated guns for their Jihad to get Islamic Republic of Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system.

Because Fulani-loyal military dictators restructured Nigeria politically through proliferation of excess number of states and local government areas in Fulani-controlled northern region of Nigeria.

One northern region got 20 new federating units (states), while the two southern regions got only 17 new federating units (states).
A presidential candidate needs to win 25% of votes in 2/3 of the number of states in Nigeria, according to the constitution supervised by the same northern military dictators.

On independence day in 1960, three regions - north, east and West regions formed independent country, Nigeria.

Creation of states in Nigeria by northern military dictators is a HUGE FRAUD. Fortunately for the Fulani, most of the people in southern regions of Nigeria don't understand the enormity of the fraud, as the southerners wrongly believe that land mass or population figures is a yardstick used for creation of new federating units in a country formed by different regions.
