Hurtful that it is Nigerians pulling down on Headies. If the international space is tapping into African music, especially Nigerian, it is not a bad idea for Headies which is the biggest music award in Nigeria presently to create an international category.
Grammy started giving more room to Africa cos of international endorsement. Headies can also plug Internationally with afrobeat.

I think there is also a scam going on with these loan companies. A neighbor of mine borrowed 15K from one app two weeks ago, and she was credited 11,300 to refund 16,350 or so. She said last Sunday was her due date but by Thursday, a guy called her letting her know that if she pay before the due date, the interest will be subsided in case of subsequent loans. The guy sent her a screenshot of the dashboard from his end with the amount she is to pay and the woman agreed to pay that Thursday. He sent her an account which I later checked to be a monnify account and the woman paid.

On Saturday night, another person, who is a female this time, called the woman that she has not paid the loan she took from them. They chatted for long, the woman sent her SS of the conversation with the other guy and the receipt of the repayment. After dragging forth and back, the caller said it is not their company while she sent a new account to the woman to pay. This new account is also a monnify account with a different username from the other guy. The woman tried reaching the other guy, but she has been blocked from WhatsApp n calls.

If they are different companies, how did the guy know the exact money she owes, and why are the two companies using a monnify account?

They have been threatening to embarrass the woman since Sunday and I felt bad for her

I always say this and i will say it again, no legit business in nigeria with 50k that can bring u a profit of 10k or 20k a day. I was even thinking abt Aba made shoe or ok shoe business, but u need like 200k and above to start the business and u stand a chance of making 10k to 20k profit. I went to buy palm today and the guy the palm is 2k, a palm that if is bouti they will tell u 7k then 5k las. @op if you have a church near you or any place you can do any menial job so you can at least eat pls do. Food and shelter is the priority now. Start from there and God will definitely see you through gradually. Let us know how things go

Exactly 2.16 am in d midnight, times like this, I will mostly be doing a tutorial or writing contents but I have lost the zeal to do any of these since two days ago. I am entirely frustrated, depressed without knowing where my life is heading.
I have always believed in working legitimately to earn, that seems like a terrible decision I've made if I look at wha I perhaps would have achieved if I did otherwise. In few days, I've been asked to quit where I'm squatting, believe me, I don't know where I'm going from here.
