OkpaNsukkaisBae:I mentioned taking it up legally and the fat old man got moderators to wipe out evidence. Moderators don't visit here so why start now? I am not complaining. But I will still do what I'd do. Just a few more days or so to get all the concrete information I need. I need home and place of work addresses added to information I have before going public. I don't have those now. |
Ihebu4chelsea:He should also give an explanation for why politicians in the South East never appeal to the Yoruba community in the SE to win votes in SE states but politicians in the South West must suck up to Igbo and ND communities in SW to win votes. Always. It's a numbers game and when it comes to numbers, Obi has the advantage in this home region while Tinubu's chances in his home region are tethered on the edge - he could fall either way; but Obi's chances in his are certain. These people are never smart enough to put statistics or numbers in context. |
OasisX:You're banking on this? Homogenization of each region matters. There are more Igbos in Lagos and Ogun alone than they are Yorubas in the whole SE. There are more Akwa Ibomites in SW than there are Yorubas in Akwa Ibom. That's why Buhari's winning margin in 2019 with Osinbajo on the ballot against Atiku/Obi was less than 310,000 in the whole South West. But Buhari lost millions in the South East. And millions in the South South too. When you do your projections, consider the homogeneity or heterogeneity of these regions. The SW heterogeneity is a weakness for Tinubu's candidacy. Tinubu can't get block votes in SW but Obi can get block votes in the SE and split it with Atiku in some SS states. |
liveLongNprospa:Same for most of us. Why else on God's green earth would I or any sane person support an Atiku ticket without a proven honest administrator like Obi on a joint ticket? ---- Obi was the one who actually convinced OBJ to endorse his ticket with Atiku in 2019. After the elections, Obasanjo and Peter Obi met several times, including in this May 2019 thread: https://www.nairaland.com/5209336/obasanjo-peter-obi-met-earlier but he refused further meetings with Atiku. Obasanjo decided long ago he preferred Obi but played the beautiful bride to publicly humiliate Atiku and Tinubu who had in yesteryears boasted they don't need him to progress politically. And he got his pound of flesh. |
Amoto94:Great song by TY Stringz. ![]()

iamoyindamola:Some folks think I just love to troll Shekau-lite by terming him a murderous fanatic but I mean it - he's a murderous fanatic. Here's our resident kaboomist bragging he lives amongst and dines with killers in 2019. Amoto94:He confirmed he knows those responsible for the killings in the country. Is it any wonder why he criticized the BBC for exposing bandits through the documentary early last year? All ye infidels take note. |
News: The LASG has decried the unsafe collection of fuel in Lagos and has warned it'd penalise and jail those who store fuel in gallons and jerry cans, while empowering its taskforce to fish out defaulters. https://www.nairaland.com/7506605/lagos-decries-unsafe-sale-storage |
OasisX:I know he supports Obi. I once defended him when you stated his votes doesn't matter. But politics shouldn't mean not stating the facts. Again, I didn't do it for you or him but for the viewing public who might be uninformed. |
No matter what your opinion is, in Nigerian politics, it's completely insulting and naive to compare the influence an endorsement from Tinubu carries compared to one from Sunday Igboho. Not to dare compare Obasanjo's to Asari's. Just because you can type it doesn't mean you should. Come on! |
Spy360:If you are asking this question then we shouldn't even be having this conversation. Wike has made it open he still deferrs to Obasanjo. Obasanjo's boys are everywhere. Former heads of state still defer to him. Foreign leaders too. My God! You equal Obasanjo to a freaking fading rabblerousing militant like Asari because of 2023 politics? Obasanjo? Sorry I quoted you. I should never have. |
Spy360:LOL. Freaking Asari? That man is only concerned about oil pipe security contract war with Tompolo. Dude can't even influence what goes on at NDDC Headquarters in PH, his backyard. And he's a Wike boy through and through. Tell Asari to go tell guys at Obio Akpor or PHALGA which are in Rivers what to do and see the result. I've not even mentioned other places in the Niger Delta. He no longer even controls the militancy structure he used to brag about. Forget Asari. Tompolo would have been a little weighty. A little. That's who even the FG make concessions to. |
OasisX:Same way you were 100% sure Oyetola would win in 2022 Osun guber polls in June. Oasis007: |
Bimffo:And things would continue to change. Even in a month, more would change. Obasanjo just endorsed Obi - same Obasanjo they were praising here when Tinubu visited him. Raum was insulting others and passing off his predictions as 100% certain about Obi's chances. ---- By the way, I can show you my comments in March and May stating for certain Obi would sweep the South South and South East, and even PDP government officials would endorse him. I also stated Tinubu wouldn't sell in these areas before the primaries and Atiku's support base would weaken. All of those have come to pass. When you analyse politics devoid of hatred for a group or people or other such blinding emotions, you'd see the fact. |
Believe these shifting certain analyses most of these people make at your own peril. ----- Analysis on June 13, 2022: Raumdeuter: "Obi will win only 2 SE states and just that nationally." raumdeuter:--- Analysis on January 1, 2023: Raumdeuter: "Tinubu would have more votes that Obi nationally". Also, slyly conceding Obi would completely engulf the SE, SS and get votes in other areas. raumdeuter:Our political analyst has been " certain" several times about the outcome of the election in each region yet keeps shifting grounds monthly. |

Happy new year! Wishing this year brings more individual and collective fulfillments as citizens and the citizenry. - To the partisan political debaters: Here's to more strength as you'd need it while we debate about better ways to forge ahead as a country. - To the religious fanatics: I hope 2023 helps you realize humanity is the only religion and our nomenclatures of Christians, Moslems or Otemists shouldn't diminish our humanity in anyway. - To those quick to threaten others here: May 2023 make you realise vindictiveness is a 2-way street and everything you've worked for could be lost in the course and cause of setting yourself up to be guilty before the law or the jungle, and how easily words can be twisted on the internet. And to the jerrycan crew: More petrol into your gallons. Even in the midst of scarcity, may the gates of all fueling stations be open to you. Here's to knowing when to draw the line, spotting opportunities, and maximizing them for good. Welcome to 2023! ![]() |
Amoto94:Shekau-lite feeling funky! Shouldn't you be in a church this New Year eve setting off bombs to decimate infidels worshipping? |
GloriousGbola:Jerrycano, my friend. Hold on let's check the VAR. Nope! Just last month during the World Cup, you confessed to being a fat old man whose health his wife is worried about. ![]() [ GloriousGbola: GloriousGbola:

GTOkowa:For the sake of the viewing public, I had to school jerrycan boy. Whenever there's a debate about cryptocurrency and Forex market in this section, I never get involved. Can I google words to seem smart? Yes. But it's not my area. I haven't exactly traded crypto except in 2017 for Bitcoin but that was fleeting. I was mostly curious and nothing more. I am a techie with a portfolio and founded my own startup yet a fat old man who knows nothing about the tech ecosystem wants to debate me on it? The people here who have seen my social media accounts can't deny my claims. Whatever I state is from experience. No theory. But Gloriousgbola wants to jump into every conversation. Even though he's an idîot. Next he'd 'bully' us with 78 gallons of petrol. It's not for him. It's for the viewing public. |
I have noticed the seeming agism on this thread or section though. The middleaged or old men have a seething hatred or disdain for youth. Take Gloriousgbola who is a self-admitting fat old man who doesn't work out - his very own words. Every single thing about youthfulness pisses him off. Exactly the kind of pushback and disdain traditional media and analog professionals have for those at the forefront of the digital age. Don't hate on young people. You had your time in our shoes 20 or 30 years ago. Accept your reality. |
Nonsense. When you are ready we would share workscreens, LinkedIn profiles, Facebook profiles and portfolio websites and more. If you are game let's post all these details about ourselves this minute. A dimwit who doesn't even know what SEO means wants to discuss about being a tech founder. Yes, I have a chip on my shoulder. Confidence and grit about what I pitch to clients come naturally. You should be able to walk into any place and fill it with your presence. Reel out information and convince people to patronise the services you offer. An idîot who has never built a business and go through the pains but gets a salary oblivious about the headache of running the company isn't fit to debate startups. Just ask any of these guys here to give you my Facebook name. That's all you need. My pinned post is of some of my clients acknowledging what I do. Heck! My portfolio website is on my profile. In tech, googling can't save you. You either know it or you don't. You can either code or you can't. Again, marketing is the most important skill if you want to monetise your skill as a tech founder. All tech founders are beginning to realise that. |
GloriousGbola, I like exposing ignorance. Let's Andrew the programming tech founder of MicroAcquire, the biggest platform to sell tech companies and startups telling you marketing is the most important skill for a tech founder. If you can't market, don't bother being a founder. A tech founder especially. Except you have multi-millions to throw away. You really should focus on petrol. These things are beyond you.
|
If you are a technical founder (who codes) and you don't know marketing/pitching, you will suffer. You will also be at the mercy of your co-founders as you'd need them for everything. They must be part of every negotiation and discussion with partners or venture capitalists. Every document must go through them. Learn marketing. Follow the man behind all the big brands, Paul Graham, like PayPal, Brex and every other big tech brand. He would tell you you must learn marketing as a founder. You should run a tech startup if you don't know marketing. It's dead in arrival. Forget Nairaland debates or arguments. |
GloriousGbola:Actually, the over 246,000 views in 6 months is no fluke. The guest readers per day increase by the minute. The active posters aren't more than 30. With 2 alternates on the average, that's 60. Multiple that by changing IPs using different browsers etc Just a few thousand from us. You should read a little on web analytics. As far as I am concerned you are more business development than actual techie - which is why rather than advice others on how to get good, how to actually develop skills, you tell them to focus on marketing which is basically how to bs clients into buying your services. My portfolio link is on my Facebook page and you just need to Google my name. Web development is my real love. I code. Naturally, I learnt to do UI. Later on graphic design was the next. SEO was important to website visibility to I have to learn that too. Content/copywriting came next. social media optimisation and management was necessary. I had to learn business writing and pitch decks as I was reaching out to brands and seeking interest in the digital products I am building registered Y-Combinator. All these and you have a full (digital) brand identity professional. But if you follow Paul Graham of Y-Combinator or Andrew of MicroAcquire this minutebon Twitter, they'd tell you the most important skill for a startup founder is marketing. I had to really learn that part. The founders of PayStack and Flutterwave did their own marketing but are hardcore coders. In Founder's Circle, you are told you must be the face of your company. You should be able to meet Dangote this minute and pitch your idea about redistributing Dangote Spaghetti and Noodles through your platform in 5 minutes. It means you'd learn to market, write pitches and sell your brand. Mark Essien is one of the most famous programmers in Nigeria with Hotels.ng but he's the biggest marketer of HNG and the Hotels.ng brand. Nobody would ever be as passionate about your tech firm startup like you. Freelancers or employee programmers don't have to worry about marketing but it demands more for us founders. |
GloriousGbola:2022 and you don't know the difference between SEO and batteries? For a guy who posts laptops, why not type in the word into the browser to learn more instead of being ignorant? SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is my forté though. Along with web development, pitch decks, brand paraphernalia design, UI design, business/content writing and digital brand marketing , I offer them in a full package as a brand identity creation and management bumper pack. 6-in-1 service offer. But managed by one tech brand. Every single brand needs that to scale in the largest market which is the internet. Brands prefer tech firms/ techies who offer the full brand identity package as they know they just have to call one person/company and all their brand identity problems are resolved instead of calling different professionals. ![]() Get informed, my jerrycan friend. |
diggz:Fûck around and find out. You began with the personals about family. I'm game to dish it out. Cry me a river! |
diggz:Bug off! Do it! You want to go personal about our women? I can dish it well too. By the way, here are two women fighting over me in the comment section. I live a different reality in the intergender relations. We live in different worlds, Stupidiggz! Game on! [Images removed[ |
diggz:You have a wife and (a) child(•ren)? You should be more worried about why you have been online all day and they don't care what you are doing. It's not like they are yours anyway so why bother? You are projecting how you found out the kids aren't yours. It took you 2 hours to do what you said would be 5 minutes. Every single time. So she got tired and found comfort in Malam Aminu's embrace. You are in the inboxes of women begging or sucking up to faceless ones. They chase me. That's my reality. |
diggz:LOL. Konji? Sex? Looking like me means women throw themselves at me daily and beg for sex. Virtually or physically. In comment sections and directly via inbox begging to get intimate. But I turn most down. Only a man with no self-control allows every fantasing woman get beneath the sheets with him. You spend to draw women or grovel in their inboxes. They beg me to give them attention with no cost from me. Don't worry about my sex life - I never discuss it publicly. There's no point cheating on my lady. At least I haven't found a valid reason to. ![]() Like Will Smith, we live in different words! [Images removed[ |
Donjazet2:I"m not. I didn't start political debates today but never do personals. You won't find a single comment of me initiating a threat on Nairaland or doxxing anyone unless it's retaliatory. Since 2014 when I joined this forum. Whatever heated political debate I have here pales in comparison to the ones I had in 2014/2015 on this forum or elsewhere. Shaqfu and I would go at it for months back in 2014. Trûshpusher, Fîrsteva and others. Nobody then would ever believe Shaqfu and Firstéva would be my buddies of some sort after that. Who have I not had heated political debates with in the Politics Section then? But never personal. I mentioned some of my closest clients and buddies are APCists. One or two are Tinubu loyalists. I'd still troll them but never personal. Yet a halfwîtted Diggz thinks he can thréaten Disstroy? Let's burn all the facade down. He's bragged about killer squads, getting away with physical harm and posting details. All I want for him is to make good of his threat Let's see him for who he claims he is. He's the one who wants to make it personal - my job now is to match him threat for threat. I'm game. Let's activate the contacts we have whenever he's ready. Let's burn everything down. |
Donjazet2:Hell no! Diggz has to make good his threat. We'd have set the ball in motion for the showdown if he just made good with his threat which was first posting my personal details. Or later, getting his hit squad to maim me. You think I saved the pages for nothing? It takes a minute for everything he feels he's worked for to come crashing but it begins with hubris. I'd be Nemesis' agent. Let's activate the contacts we have and see how far this goes. But first, I got my evidence that he started with the threats. ![]() Let's play! |
