Dear Nairalanders and Literaturelanders, I come all the way from Fortune City Nigeria with the results of the vote you cast here:

https://www.nairaland.com/5505304/nairaland-literature-awards-year-2019

Here are my views:
1. People are always in a hurry and don't always vote properly.

2. Only stories posted towards the end of the year are remembered.

So, for next year, I have decided to;

a. create an independent system that will help the voting process

b. Voting will start early in the year
c. Names of books will used in judging
d. Only stories that has "The End" or has been concluded will be accepted.

Thanks

The problem with human being is that we don't prepare for change. We expect things to be as it's forever, forgeting that time and age are bound to introduce change to us.
God bless you for sharing this.
Thanks a lot

This is interesting, why did the op stop?
Thanks for calling this out.

Everyone I'm so sorry for stopping. I have a lot of uncompleted stories. So, I was forced to push this story down the queue. I've arranged how I'll be writing the stories.
The more I tried continuing, the more my mind switch over to the uncompleted stories.

The previous thread I created strangely got deleted. undecided I was certain It broke no rules.
To avoid a repeat of what happened, here is the nairaland description of this section:

My thread belongs here. I'm old enough on nairaland to know the rules. angry
