The Imo state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused Governor Rochas Okorocha of attempting to drive the state to irredeemable indebtedness.

In a statement signed by its publicity secretary, Kizito Onuoha, the PDP criticized the governor for applying for another N20 billion loan after he just received over N26 billion bailout funds from the federal government.

Okoroca had made the request for the loan through a letter to the Federal Ministry of Finance, DMO/PMD/241//T/7, dated August 25, 2015, and signed by A. M. Daniel-Nwaobis, the permanent secretary, ministry of finance. The Federal Ministry of Finance had granted the request of the governor.

The PDP described Governor Okorocha’s move as a deliberate and calculated attempt to further bankrupt the state, Daily Sun reports.

According to the PDP, despite receiving N26 billion bailout funds, the Imo state government was still owing some workers their salary arrears and pensioners were still being owed up to 29 months.

The party said the state government needed to be questioned on what they did with bailout funds.

The statement read: “Having taken a painstaking diagnosis on the current debt profile of the state, it is really disheartening that Imo state is already owing N63 billion and if the fresh loan of N20 billion is added, the state’s debt stock would be a whopping N83 billion, outside the over N100 billion debt owed local contractors in the state.

“It is rather unfortunate that the present government has not only decided to bankrupt the state but also to milk the state dry.”

The PDP alleged that the decision to take another loan was solely taken by Okorocha, who according to them has decided to run the state as a sole administrator.

Two days ago, in an interview with Naij.com, Dr Victor Ikechukwu Oye, the national chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) had said Okorocha was being carried away by his office as the governor forgetting that the office is ephemeral and he is not going to be there forever.

A 32-year-old islamic teacher identified as Mallam Ibrahim Salley has been smoked out of his hiding place by the police for allegedly abusing children sexually.

He was arrested by the police at his hideout at Asensu Bar in Ashaiman, away from the Valco Flats location where he lived.

This is the main reason why it looks as if CURRENTPRICE has issues against you. When your calls were hitting stoplosses, you never asked anybody to drop his/her numbers to your e-mail, now that luck has smiled at you, you have come up with this attitude of yours. i gave a call on GA within 10 minute the call turn positive 65pips,,,,,, Kirinwa was blind to see trade in green quickly post on the call. fxbomovi & co not comment on that,,,,,,, next day i posted clearly on the thread that i closed the GA to stand out with BE waiting to see 9 am price candle for further take on the pair,,,,,,, Kinrinwa was blind to the post also.

as usual kiriwa disappeared from the thread without given any update on his bad trade of GN SELL 3000pips target with 300pips SL call of previous week,,,,re-appeared last week with another 1400pips target call on the wait through the week which never come ,,,,, then he gave GA Sell call on friday against the very bullish trend and the trade immediately goes against the call with 73pips negative left with 27pips to hit SL,,,,, shining my teeth to the experience trader who sees good in trading against the trend,,,,, forgetting newbies here learning from guru calls.

to kirinwa i trade demo,,,, he challenge me to post my demo chart,,,,,,i replied him to let us do it right way through 3rd party site,,, people forgotten trading history can motivate newbies on the thread and they can even learn 1 or 2 things from such,,,,,the next thing was people defend kirinwa to term Currentprice post as being boosting.

If you believe that FX is a respecter on nobody them you know that CURRENTPRICE was right with all he has been doing. Remember while someone was waiting endlessly to net +2000pips before Wednesday last week, Currenctprice had net almost +300pips without much noise.

Nobody has asked newbies to send their phone numbers to an e-mail address but once his call is favored, we will not hear words but bragging,this CURRENTPRICE is kicking against.

How many times have you seen Endfx, Naijababe, Capital, Shevy and co call for whatsapps/e-mail subscription from people here, my annoyance is some has gone to the extent of opening a new thread for their group promising to be making 1mpips a month but when they are humbled by Forex,they come back here to look for new customers that they will deceive.

All i know is, "successful traders don't brag". PEACE!!!
