hello fellow nairalander, i arrived in Atlanta safely and received my GC after 30days. i had also received my Dl after passing the the drive test. my concern now is getting a job. Can anybody help with job in Atlanta? JEJELADY do you have any contact here please?

Please forumites, how long does it take to get ones visa package after interview? i was told it is after 5 working days. i had my succesful interview on the 18th of this month and i'm yet to receive any info from GSS.

I feel it is better you carry everything along with you but they did not ask my wife anything.

kennex89: please for those that went to the interview as couples, i will like you to answer this question for me is it compulsory for the visa beneficiary or derviative to go with their educational certificates cos i was told it is not compulsory for deriviatives and beneficiaries , it is only compulsory for the principal applicants. though i am a graduate and i am going with my GCE,UNIVERSITY,NYSC. but my wife being the principal applicants will be going with her testimonail, and other school documents. please couples answer this cos i want to know if it was asked.

I WANT TO GO GIVE GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY FOR A SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW ON THE 18TH OF THIS MONTH AND SECONDLY ALL NL FOR YOUR SUPPORT.I left my house at Agbado-Ijaiye around 4.15am and got the embassy at 5.06a.m. After all the necessary documentation i was called up for interview at around 10a.m by a slim white lady. MY INTERVIEW WAS AS BELOW:

CO: Good Morning
ME: Good morning
CO: Are you Mr. FSE
ME: Yes
CO: Can you please raise your left hand and say u will say the truth and nothing but the truth?
Me: Yes ma
CO: can i take your finger print
Me: Sure, so she took our finger print:
CO: Whats your highest level of education?
Me: BBB
CO: what year?
ME: KKK
CO: what course?
ME: Electrical
CO: what do you do presently?
ME: i work with DDD
CO: when did you get married?
ME: Year.....
CO: when is your baby's birthday?
ME: .......

She started typing and brought out 2 paper and advice us on how to pay our Green Card fee, and said welcome to America.I will approve your visas.
WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!!

westcodes: Bear in mind KCC receives and processes dozens of applications on a daily basis. It takes them about 6 weeks to acknowledge receiving applications, how long it takes for them to complete processing I am not sure. Just be rest assured and hold tight, as long they have confirmed receiving your application, you will get your 2NL.

I'm using below example for your understanding.
The name i was registered with is Diamond, Adeleke Michael
My credentials carried Diamond, Leke Olamide
I bear all the name though.
I've been able to get my NPC birth cert and international passport to carry the names as Diamond, Adeleke Michael Olamide and also included Olamide as other name in the forms i sent to KCC. My concern now is my results that carry Diamond, Leke Olamide.
Do i need to get an affidavit for change of name from Diamond, Leke Olamide to Diamond, Adeleke Michael Olamide?
PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE O

cenobs007: Damn. This is a critical and serious situation. Why would that person use a different name? Did you not give him/her your real (full) names? Somebody should help this dude. Should he call the Kentucky's office and explain to them, adding that it was his/her middle instead of first name as appeared on the credentials, before sending DSP forms to them. OR Should he bears the name as middle name by swearing an affidavit, in order to include the "said name" along his real names, because the US DV Interviewers are strict on any mishap especially when it comes to alterations. They might ask if REALLY you are the TRUE winner, especially when passport photograph was not used at the time the lottery form was filled, otherwise it would have been easier. I am just suggesting. Fellow forumites, this brother NEEDS your answers.
