Yar’adua returns to work next week - Associates

[President Umaru Musa Yar’adua]

President Umaru Musa Yar’adua
The on-going scramble for positions in a soon to be reconstituted Federal cabinet could shortly hit a brick wall because President Umaru Yar’adua intends to resume duties in his office next week, a top source close to the ailing president told Daily Trust yesterday. However, another family source separately told Daily Trust that Yar’adua will be fit to resume work by the end of next month.

According to the top sources, Yar’adua intends to make a national radio and television broadcast to signal his resumption of work as early as Monday or Wednesday next week. They said Yar’adua may not write a letter to the National Assembly intimating it of his return because he did not transmit a letter before he proceeded on medical vacation, even though his spokesman later said Yar’adua recognised Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as the Acting President.

Both sources said Yar’adua has made much progress physically since his return to the country late last month, and that his remaining medical problem now is speech-related. The sources said the ailing president now walks around the house and also around the garden, where there are many birds and animals.

They said Yar’adua brought a speech therapist with him from the Saudi Arabian hospital and the doctor has been working since then to improve his speech. Both sources said he has made progress in his speech. One of the sources told Daily Trust that Yar’adua’s return to the country last month was “premature,” and that he was brought back before he finished his therapy “for political reasons.”

In the last two weeks, Daily Trust learnt that Yar’adua received several visiting family members, close friends, some political associates, some state governors and also some personal staff, even though he has not yet met with Acting President Goodluck Jonathan. Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience, however visited the residence and they met with Hajia Turai Yar’adua.

The sources said Yar’adua’s seclusion since his return to the country was ordered by the Saudi doctors because he suffered a severe infection while at the Saudi hospital when he received some visitors. The people who have been able to meet with him after his return, the sources said, were made to go through some disinfecting chambers before they were ushered into his presence. Those procedures have ended now, the sources said.

According to our sources, Yar’adua is not happy with the Acting President for sacking his aides, instituting a probe of his regime’s contract awards and dissolving his council of ministers. It is therefore likely that his resumption of work would severely upstage the on-going selection of new ministers by the Acting President.

Yar’adua first left the country for medical treatment in Saudi Arabia on November 21, last year and returned to the country after 93 days. While he was away, the National Assembly adopted a unanimous resolution in early February to recognise the Vice President as Acting President, despite Yar’adua’s failure to transmit a letter of medical vacation in line with Section 145 of the 1999 Constitution.

Since Yar’adua’s return to the country, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has continued to run the country and has carried out many far-reaching political measures, including dissolving the Federal cabinet last Wednesday.

Cloning has been kept secret for a long time and Banned in most countries of the world.
It is possible it's kept secret so that power can be sustained by some selfish individuals.

Ask yourself this question, Why the President's cabal buying so much time using delay tactics to achieve their aims?
Nigerians deserve to know the truth, and only the truth can set everyone free
.
Very soon Nigerians will say welcome back Mr. President (cloned). Cloning the President is possible

About one month after an accord was reached between the Federal Government and university teachers, indications have emerged that staff unions may resume strike following non-payment of their wages during the period the industrial action lasted.
Their three months strike protesting several issues including poor pay was called off last month after a break-through in negotiations between both parties.
It followed the intervention of the former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, upon the request of President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.
But it was gathered that zonal meetings of the university teachers that would fine tune the strategy for the fresh action are in progress across all the geo-political zones of the country.
A meeting of the Ibadan zone of ASUU comprising universities in Oyo, Ekiti, Osun, Ondo, and Kwara states was held at the University of Ibadan yesterday. The meeting was ongoing as at press time.
THISDAY checks revealed that other staff unions are spoiling for a fight as they have put their members on the alert regarding the issue.
The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Julius Okojie, had in a circular sent to all federal vice -chancellors directed them to withhold the August and September salaries of workers in observance of the no-work no-pay policy of the Federal Government.
The circular which was titled “Re: National Strike by Staff Unions of Universities: Payment of Staff salaries” stated that “the Accountant-general of the federation by my letters, Ref. NUC/ES/444/Vol.15/71 of July, 2009 and NUC/ES/444/Vol15/77 of 21 August, 2009 on the national strike by staff unions of universities was advised to effect the No work, no pay policy of government.”
The circular explained that salaries would be paid with effect from October, excluding the three months strike period.
“Following the suspension of the strike by staff unions, the Accountant-general of the federation has been advised to pay the salaries of all staff of federal universities with effect from the month of October, 2009. The salaries withheld during the strike period however remain withheld please” the circular stated.
But the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has condemned the circular, saying it violates the recent agreement signed with the Federal Government.
ASUU was reported to have quoted the last sentence in the agreement of ASUU/FG agreement which reads: “it was agreed that nobody shall be victimised in any way whatsoever for his or her role in the process leading to this re-negotiation and agreement."
When contacted, ASUU President, Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie told THISDAY on phone that he is not aware of a planned fresh strike action but disclosed that the organisation's National Executive Committee (NEC) would be meeting next week. He however confirmed that salaries for the three months that the strike lasted are yet to be paid.
“While we were on strike, the Federal Government said N20.6 billion had been appropriated for the new salary. Why has this not been paid? One month after the agreement was signed, the Implementation Monitoring Committee has not been set up and the National Universities Commission ought to have written officially to the Vice Chancellors about the agreement reached," said Awuzie.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Sam Egwu, said before he went on leave, he directed the Permanent Secretary, Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, to ensure the immediate appointment of the Implementation Monitoring Committee, but, he was told, that ASUU asked for some time to consult with its constituency to determine its nominees.
The nomination forms, he said, were being sent out. The minister however declined comment on the salaries, saying it was a matter between the lecturers and their employees.

RomanceRe: Why Do Girls Cheat (Naira Girls I'm Asking) by djay4: 8:26am On Nov 24, 2009
The truth about why people cheat whether a male or female are:

1.Security
2.One person in the past must have been unfaithful
3.Lack of communication
4.lack of true love (i.e. doing things that will not hurt your partner)
5.lack of emotional encouragement
6.lack of understanding the needs of the other partner
7.lack of sexual gratification
etc

To summarize everything, Only when a person obeys and have fear of GOD that all these list mentioned above will be eliminated.
You can change the other partner unless you change yourself

Guys and Ladies, Check yourself if you really want your relationship to last forever.
Peace.

I was in my Car with my Girl making Love when some people caught us in the process.

My problem now is that my Girl is in still in secondary school and she was wearing her uniform at that time we were caught.

These men that caught us in the process ask for her name, so because of fear she gave her real name and surname. But they didn't get her class.

I tell u guys, we really ove each other too much that we went extra mile making love in the car, we couldn't control ourslves. it had been 2 weeks we didn't meet and that was the first time we made love in the car.
We love each other and we hope and pray to marry very soon.

My problem now is Her Principal knows her too much and She treats her (My-Girl) like her own Child so I don't want her get into serious problems. I am afraid that the principal will get to know about what happened.

Please my Guys, what do u think We should do to pass through unforseen circumstances.

Thanks.
Christianity EtcMarriage Is Possible Without Going To Church. by djay4(op): 11:17am On Nov 24, 2008
I am a Christian, striving to follow Christ's foot steps.

Please, My Christian Bro. and Sis. What are your opinions on this.

Those God recognize Marriage through Prayer when two people agree to be together forever without going through the Church process i.e. making it not public? What I mean is, if I and My-Love agree to be Husband and Wife without a third party (witness and maybe the Priest), then believing in God that He has Bind us.

The reason I ask this Question is because some of us today don't have the capital to go through the church process with third party involve as witness.

God bless You with your response or opinion.
