As for me, I want an age gap of 8 years and younger.

The Hausas always insist on zoning between North and South. If they still insist, let the zoning be according to the six geopolitical zones of this country. Wayu man(hausa)!
PoliticsRe: Christian Youths Attack Muslims In Taraba, Demolish Mosque! by djay4: 8:42am On Jul 19, 2010
This is a mistake made by the Plateau people who had giving chance to the Hausa muslim of the North in the past and that is affecting them now. What the Wukari Christians are trying to do is avoiding the kind of mistake made by the Plateau people.

Have you ever ask yourself this question, will a typical muslim Hausa man allow you to build a Church in the center of Kano state? you dare not try that.
I once lived in kebbi state for 2 yrs where it is largely dominated by the Hausa muslims. you dare not build a church in their mist, they will send you to hell when you don't deserve to be there. Hausa/Fulani people are not to be trusted wherever you go in this country, their behavior is like the snake waiting for the right time to catch its prey.

Many of you especially those from the east, west and south south, you don't understand these people well so be careful.
PoliticsNew Outbreak Of Violence In Jos Claims Eight Lives, Many Injured Army On Guard by djay4(op): 7:03pm On Jul 17, 2010
Eight people were confirmed dead today while several others were injured following an attack by suspected headsmen in Maza village in Jos North local government area in Plateau State.

The attackers burned down three compounds and destroyed other valuables at about 1 a.m. local time, local journalists reported.

Many of the corpses were still lying outdoors, said a reporter who declined to give his name.

Among those deceased were the father of a councilor representing Maza Ward at the Jos north council legislative arm Gaya Suna and a pastor in that area with Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN), Nuhu Dawat.

In addition, a community leader lost his wife and two sons having narrowly escaped being killed himself.

Adamu Bala, a resident of the village, who narrated his experience of the attack told news reporters that the assailants were many in number and well armed.

Jos has experienced multiple tit-for-tat attacks over the past year between the indigenous, largely Christian residents of the state and newer Muslim settlers in the area, particularly Hausa and Fulani herdsmen.

Although there is a heightened security presence in Plateau State, it has so far, been unable to prevent frequent outbreaks of ethnic and religious attacks in less well-policed areas of the state away from the capital, Jos.

Many experts point to the potential for larger outbreaks of violence in future, if the root causes of the attacks are not dealt with. Jos itself is now virtually partitioned, with Christians and Muslims being careful not to go into the other community’s areas.

Hausa/Fulani again.
These group of people are well sponsored by someone from above to continue their act. Unless something is done on time before another RWANDA takes place in Plateau,

THE SPANISH team deserve it, they maintain their pressure on the Netherlands. Before the game starts I'd wish Netherlnd to take the cup after reaching finals on 4 occasions but spain pressurized them.

This same group of people are allowed to perform their act without punishment. The Federal and state government know them. The police and the military also know them too. They all have access to intelligence and if left unchecked another RWANDA or more than RWANDA is approaching very soon
PoliticsCourts, Biggest Bribe Takers by djay4(op): 9:41am On Jul 02, 2010
Nigerian courts of law receive the biggest bribes from citizens among all the institutions in which corruption is rampant, according to the report of a survey on crime and corruption conducted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and National Bureau of Statistics, with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crimes (UNODC).

According to the report, citizens who responded to the survey said they have paid the biggest bribes to the courts, an average of $87 (N13,050) per transaction.

A summary report of the survey formally presented yesterday suggested that though bribery in the judiciary was less frequent than in many other agencies, it required the biggest transactions.

The survey was conducted in 2007 on a sample of 2775 enterprises randomly selected to represent businesses active in Nigeria, and a response rate of 79.4 percent representing 2203 interviews was recorded.

“Somewhat smaller amounts were indicated for Customs clearance, clearance of environment/health regulations, residence and work permits, registrations and police investigations (median bribe around 80 USD). Smaller bribes were given for traffic offences (median around 40 USD),” the survey reported.

Most respondents said they could not avoid paying bribes and that they did so to speed up the procedure or receive better treatment.

“Among public officials, police personnel were most frequently alleged by respondents (58%) to request the payment of bribes followed by employees of PHCN and the Water Board (39%), Revenue officials (26%) as well as Customs (25%).”

In the survey, Nigerians also rate the Police, political parties, Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) low on their efficiency and performance.

It also emerged that crime and insecurity, corruption, inflation and political instability are very strong obstacles to doing business in NigeriaThe report said on average, more than 50% of Nigerian businesses become victims of crime at least once a year and that more than a third of business seems to be forced to pay bribes when coming into contact with the public sector. In particular, police and customs appear to be affected.

“The survey reveals that for more than 70% of Nigerian businesses crime and corruption constitutes the most serious obstacles to conducting business in Nigeria.”

The survey covered over 2,200 businesses across all Nigerian states and sectors of the economy and aimed was at gathering the perception and experiences of businesses with regard to corruption and crime, as well as their opinions regarding the efforts of the Nigerian Government to prevent and fight these phenomena.

The event, which was attended by large group of stakeholders, including representatives of anti-corruption agencies, public sector institutions, academia, civil society as well as the private sector and media, discussed the findings of the survey and “reaffirmed the key importance of the data for the purpose of policy development as well as benchmarking the performance of government initiatives and institutions in the fight against crime and corruption.”

Former Attorney General of the Federation Chief Bayo Ojo, SAN however dismissed the survey’s findings as “ridiculous.”

SportsVincent Eyeama Deserve An Award From The Fg by djay4(op): 9:27am On Jul 02, 2010
Vincent Eyeama is a Hero.

He has represented Nigeria fully at FIFA world cup 2010 making sure that Agentina, Greese, and korea do not score as much as they can. He has been a major obstacle to the dream of Messi and others. This guy Eyeama, gave all he can to make us proud as Nigerians. He served his country with great passion. He trained hard so that we could make it to the finals. Vincent Eyeama is patrotic.

Therefore Nigeria, the Federal Government even state Need not forget this guy. Eyeama should be celebrated by the country, all media houses, including Nigerians that He did us proud. Eyeama should and must not be history. He is our only Hero and deserved to be honored.

"Others can be encouraged only if deserved Heroes are honored", guys what do think.

Politics40 Injured As Hausa, Yoruba Clash In Lagos by djay4(op): 8:20am On Jul 01, 2010
ABOUT 40 people were injured in Lagos, on Wednesday, during a clash between some Yoruba youths and Hausa settlers between the Marine Bridge and Ijora-Badia areas of the state.

The cause of the mayhem could not be immediately ascertained, as the neighbourhood was in confusion, causing residents to flee the vicinity.

Nigerian Tribune, however, gathered that no sooner than the riot broke out that a detachment of anti-riot policemen was dispatched by the Lagos State police command to dislodge the rioters.

It was further learnt that some of the feuding parties were also said to have been arrested, while normalcy had been restored in the area.

Unconfirmed report, however, said the crisis started between two men (Hausa and Yoruba), who were allegedly fighting over perceived injustice and partiality against one of the Northerners.

Efforts to confirm the number of casualties and people arrested at the scene of the fracas from the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr Frank Mba, did not yield results, as his GSM phone was switched off up till the time of filing this report.

PoliticsRe: Best And Worst Governors In Nigeria? by djay4: 8:09am On Jun 29, 2010
Nigeria suppose to have an independent organization (free of corruption and independent) to rate these governors on their individual performance.
This organization should be made up off individuals outside the country and must not be influence by any government or individuals.

Personally I can't rate any as the best. My Governor is doing well but I can't rate him as best governors
PoliticsOkada Operator Resume Fully In Jos by djay4(op): 10:26am On Jun 28, 2010
After the initial clampdown on commercial motorcyclists in Jos, the Okada riders seem to have commenced full operations as they now convey passengers to their various destinations freely. Our correspondent observed that after the sit-at-home observed by the Okada operators, they resumed operations last Monday in all parts of the town from Bauchi Road to Bukuru.

Our correspondent observed that many residents of the state are patronizing the motorcyclists despite an existing law that threatens to deal with any passenger caught.

Most of the passengers said they were taking the risk because there was no alternative mode of transportation.

A resident said though he supports the law banning Okada, he wouldn’t want to suffer for being a law abiding citizen.

The state government has however made it clear that there is no going back on the ban. The state Commissioner for Information Gregory Yenlong in a statement made it clear that the ban would be enforced. President of commercial cyclists in the state, Babangida Shehu Maihula, said he has not been able to discuss with officials of the state government on how best to implement the policy.

He said those on the streets were probably those who do not have alternative means of livelihood.

EFCC needs to probe NFF. The President should give order to EFCC to investigate NFF.

What was the agreement between Lagerbarg and the officials of NFF. What was the agreement of monies between the two before the coach was given the contract. What were the exchange of monies during and before the final selection of players. Probe the entire thing before we start preparation for the next world cup.

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs South Korea: 2 - 2 @ World Cup 2010, June 22 by djay4: 8:19am On Jun 23, 2010
The truth about everything is that corruption is working right from time the executive of NFA where given the job.

People who love football with great passion were not given opportunity to run the business.
Such people will not allow corrupt people to spoil the boys.
Such people will not let people select players or decide for the coach.
Such people will be consistent and plan ahead before the next world cup.
These people must be ready to die for Nigeria and the new boys to be selected.

Do Nigerians love Nigeriahuh

This is the kind of attitude some Nigeria displayed at the world cup that I'm talking about.

Guys this has nothing to do with religion but it has to do with your Love for one another wink.
PoliticsRe: Similarities Between Sanusi And Sani Kaita by djay4: 9:02am On Jun 18, 2010
why do Nigerians love blaming someone else whenever we lose. Sani Kaita is not only person to be blamed, blame yourself too because is our attitude that is reflected at the world cup.

DO NIGERIANS LOVE NIGERIA (think about it)

If we do love Nigeria, the remaining ten players would have beaten GREECE.
PoliticsNigerians Do Not Deserve To Go Further In The World Cup by djay4(op): 8:52am On Jun 18, 2010
When will Nigeria be great, when? I keep asking myself this question anytime I think about Nigeria, Is Nigeria really progressing in Football, governance, welfare of its citizens, attitude etc huh

Just sit down and analyze the situation in Nigeria which is now reflecting in the Nigerian football team at South Africa. Do Nigerians LOVE Nigeria huh Will a single Nigeria citizen die for his country rather than think of his selfish ambitions? The few that will die for the country gradually are thinking of not dying anymore because they have joined the group.

Looking at the Nigeria football team, because most Nigerians are lawless that is the reason why SANI Kaita deserved the red card so it affected the entire team’s moral, motive and ambition to win the cup. But still as players, if they LOVE their country so much, they would struggle till the last minutes of play but choose to relax in their father’s parlor. GREECE, ARGENTINA , SOUTH KOREA and any other team can be beaten at the world cup, that is possible only if the NFA, coaches, players and everyone love Nigeria as our country.

The governments, politicians, pastors, imams etc, the world cup is the fruits of your tree you have all planted, the poor/less privileged are joining the queue too. No one should blame the Nigerian football team alone, you all are inclusive. Nigerians have not learn their lessons yet after the previous mistake which made Nigeria not to go 2006 world cup.

Well, My advice to everyone is let us keep destroying Nigeria maybe through that one day we will win the WORLD CUP. Congratulations Nigeria, up flying eagles grin.
