chenzen:Seen, next! |
chenzen:Check my moniker again, I got no time for nonsense. Enjoy your bitter life. |
life707:No problem bro. |
abnaldo:Nope |
Pidzo:Hello PIDZO, is that you? Happy new year. |
Good morning Life707, were you able to get eutelsat 7 @ 7° E, European beam? IRIB Varzesh and Tv3 have started operating on that satellite. |
Good write up from ilegend. So inspiring... |
SilentBang:Good morning SilentBang. Is your Qsat connected to a dish that is pointing at any particular satellite? If it does then bring out your receiver outside with a TV connected to it then power them. With your remote control unit, go to menu then to manual scan, find an active transponder (active transponder always has two long signal bars ...green or yellow color if it is on strong receiver) then move to your dish and take look at your dish properly. Mark the position, then slack the bolt and nut that is holding the neck of the dish and swing the dish. By this time, the signal on your TV must have disappeared. You will only see one long signal bar, then try and return the dish to it original position. If you are accurately getting the dish to it's original position ...you will see the two signal bars dancing on your TV screen. If you can do this then try it out but if you cannot then then call an experienced installer to teach. Good luck. |
SilentBang:Hello SilentBang, have you tracked and satellite before? Let start it from here. |
SilentBang:Just ask your question there, people are there to put you through. I would have help you out but am kind of busy now. |
dominique:Tstv movie channels are pretty better than Mnet movie channels though you don't have to believe me. Their channels are world class channels. |
SilentBang:Yes of course, you can get it with your qsat but I would like you to join this thread, you will be taught on how to go about it. See the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/712408/free-air-satellite-tv-general/1694 |
TSTV is receivable on ABS 3 @ 3° West with not less than 40 good channels with good picture and audio quality being transmitted as free to air channels.

ProGSM:Hello ProGSM, you can use the lnbf with that your receiver provided that the lnbf is still okay. Your receiver is even Linus based OS which is even far better than Strong receivers that we are using here in Nigeria. |

Euroadams:Hello Euroadams, am presently using a low end sat tracker ...Xcruiser to be precise.
|
life707:Hello life707, I got the transponder hosting Fox Sport the day I was hunting for I carma 3 on Eutelsat 7A @7° East since the one I was receiving on hotbird then was cracking a lot. The transponder hosting Fox Sport was flashing on my sat tracker and since I was able to see the signal flashing with my 2.4m offset dish, I strongly believe that his 3.4m dish will be able to hunt the said channel down. |
clemo4u:You can try it, at least you will be able to receive Fox sport that is encrypted with biss though location is another factor to consider here. |
davodyguy:I was opportuned to watch the match in the morning before I went to work late today being Monday. |
davodyguy:Hello bro, AFN Sports2 aired it live in the morning. They aired NICK Kyrgios matched and Rafael Nadal match via Espn2. |
Corruption and negligence will not allow us to develop our nation. I wish the western world could ban our politicians from residing in their country. Africa is a shithole. I wonder when the masses will come to their senses and fight against our corrupt politicians. |
davodguy:AngoSat 1 was initially booked for a shared ride with the similarly-sized Energia 100 satellite atop a Sea Launch Zenit-3SL rocket, however, these plans fell through as tensions between Russia and the Ukraine rose over the annexation of Crimea and the Sea Launch business venture dissolved for a number of reasons. The satellite was then evaluated as a potential payload for the second flight of the Angara A5 heavy-lift rocket; however, delays within that program prompted the decision to move it back to a land-based Zenit launch vehicle as Russia and the Ukraine began working toward a resurrection of the venerable Zenit booster – hoping to see commercial business through its new operator S7 Airlines that acquired the leftover Sea Launch infrastructure and took steps to re-start Zenit rocket and engine production in the Ukraine and Russia, a process expected to take at least a year and a half before all required approvals can be obtained. AngoSat employs the second of up to three Zenit rockets that had been in extended storage at the Baikonur Cosmodrome after they fell victim to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict over Crimea. The first of the lot launched the Elektro-L No. 2 weather satellite in 2015 and a deal was made in 2016 to re-purpose the second Zenit for AngoSat after its original passenger, the Spektr-RG radio telescope, switched to Proton after suffering another launch delay. Because the Zenit had already overstayed its production warranty, a Ukrainian team from manufacturer Yuzhnoye had to perform refurbishment on perishable components. However, permissions for the Ukrainian engineering team to travel to Kazakhstan were held up first by Moscow and then by Kiev, resulting in the delay of the launch from July to December 2017 with another three-week delay suffered due to technical problems in processing the Fregat-SB upper stage. http://spaceflight101.com/zenit-angosat-1/angosat-1/

davodguy:Hello bro, I can't really say for now but I will do a thorough check about this info. |
RUSSIAN-UKRAINE ZENIT ROCKET FINALLY LAUNCHES AngoSat-1 The Angosat Project Contract was signed by the Russian and Angolan Parties in 2009. In the following years both parties carried out a joint work in organization of the project financing, that made it possible to proceed to its practical implementation. Work on the satellite started in late 2012. The Angosat Project calls for development of a communications satellite with C- and Ku-band transponders, its launch into a geostationary orbit and development of the ground communication and TV broadcasting infrastructure. The Mission Control Center and Central satellite communication network station are planned to be built in the suburbs of Luanda. Moreover, the Project provides for activities on improvement of the currently exciting ground segment of satellite television broadcasting system of the Republic of Angola. The satellite was launched on 26 December 2017 successfully directly into geostationary orbit. Contact was established with AngoSat 1 after spacecraft separation, but contact was lost subsequently during solar panel deployment. Contact was reestablished a day later, but the status of the batteries remained worrisome. The satellite will be operated by Angola’s Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology. Angosat 1 will be placed in geostationary orbit at a longitude of 14 degrees East longitude and is expected to operate for at least fifteen years. It will match Earth’s rotation and hover over the same geographic location, beaming television broadcast, Internet, radio and other telecommunications services to Angola, the rest of Africa and parts of Europe. The satellite carries 16 C-band and six Ku-band transponders, and its communications payload was supplied by Airbus Defense and Space. Angosat 1 is the Republic Of Angola’s first communications satellite and the first of its kind in Africa; it is the product of an inter-governmental agreement signed between the Angolan and Russian governments in 2009. Russian engineers also helped construct and activate a satellite control center near the Angolan capital of Luanda on the southwest coast of Africa, where officials will oversee Angosat 1 operations. davodguy:I think it is only Huawei product that work with strong receivers. |
davodguy:Good evening davodguy, I will notify you when am ready, thanks. |
blexxonmak: davodguy: blexxonmak:Happy new year to you guys. Yesterday morning after I have made that post, I was curious to know if I was being banned by anti spam not and I decided to repost the post the removed post that I posted three days ago. I refreshed the page after I have made the post and I discovered that the post have been removed and I have been banned again for twenty four hours by anti spam bot. Happy new year to every member of this great forum. |
RasKush: davodguy:Good morning davodguy and RasKush. I replied davodguy with 10 addresses of shops in Deira around 10 pm day before yesterday but in less than ten minutes the post was removed and I was banned. I couldn't post on this particular thread and I was wondering who could have called the moderator to remove my post and made sure that I could not post again until this moment. This particular thread doesn't have moderator and we don't misbehave as people do on the front page. We sees ourselves here as one family with love and understanding though sometimes we do misunderstand ourselves but we settle our differences within a short period of time. Am still surprise on eho called on the moderator to finish me up.
