To be very honest with you When it comes to real estate quality & architectural diversity in Joburg, Nairobi, Luanda & Cape town take the Lion's share in Africa. Lagos has quantity, Nairobi has quality and that's what investors are searching for.

How do the charts back up your wild claim that SA and Nigeria are leading the continent in undersea cable? Nigeria has 5 undersea fiber optic cables. Kenya has the exact same number despite a smaller population. The fifth one for Kenya, which is the latest entrant has a data speed of 36-Terabytes ! You dont have anything close speedwise considering most of your cables landed in the Jurassic period. Most of them range in the 1.5 to 15 TB category, which is slothfully slow by Kenyan standards.

Not forgetting that due to poor logistics and planning and the unbeatable attitude of looking good on paper, you only use 10 % of your installed fiber capacity because you have not laid the infrastructure upcountry to take up the bandwidth.

This is the president of the Association of Submarine Cable Operators of Nigeria speaking last year;

"In terms of utilization, across all cables we are using less than 10% because we do not have the requisite terrestrial infrastructure to transmit this capacity from the shores across the country, particularly to the unserved and underserved areas. There's no way you can be doing better on that front. All data points to Kenya besting you on internet speeds and penetration and everything related to internet.
