According to an article that appeared on the now defunct HumanIPO website, Nyagaka came up with idea in 2002. By 2007, Vodacom had already bought stakes in the company & fixed white faces to claim ownership in a Brand that was invented & developed by Kenyans.

Mpesa is a Kenyan Company run by Safaricom. Safaricom is a telecommunication Company 40% Owned by Vodafone & 60% owned by the Kenyan government. I Know it hurts to come by it but you just have to get over it. Kenya isn't South Africa where your Landlord is white grin

Let me give you an example.
Mpesa, the biggest thing to come out of Kenya is British. I can give you other examples but it's tiresome teaching you little Indians.

MPesa is a Kenyan Company that partners with multinational companies. It was invented and established in Kenya by Kenyans. The British haven't even applied the Mobile banking technology yet and Kenya is the World leader in the industry. Other Kenyan Companies like Sport Pesa which were invented alongside the same approach with Mpesa are branded Pesa, a Kiswahili word to mean money cause it's an East African invention within the same concept.

In Kenya Blacks own & control all these entities, indians are just regular business subjects of an already black owned economy. They don't own any land, they don't own any bank, they don't own any Media Company & are infact employed by Black owned companies like the Royal media in Kenya.
The Kenyatta family alone own tans of companies employing Indians in Kenya.

It's funny how you chose to ignore the employers of those Indians and real owners of Kenya. Kenya's economy is based on Agriculture and the Richest folks are Farmers who own agricultural industries and Hectares of land, these farmers in Kenya are all Blacks. In Kenya We own lands, live in apartments, Bank and shop in Malls owned by Blacks. Very different from South Africa.
