I used to think Europe was all good since they like documenting about Slums in Africa until recently after a few bloggers started exposing slums in like "seine saint denis" France, Romania, Spain and Portugal ��. We need to have our own African international media company to tell their stories on our side like they tell ours.

It's probably the reason why Nigeria's GDP doesn't reflect the quality of life & infrastructure on the ground. That's why South Africa, Angola & Algeria are way ahead of Nigeria with lower GDPs.

And East Africa also has better living standards. Does Nigeria even have stable power supply in their Cities let alone rural areas. 40% of Nigeria's population lives under extreme poverty, that's over 80 Million people while in kenya it's only 22% with less people than Nigeria. Africa is poor but Nigeria is critically poor.

Each and every person living in those slums is a tenant who came to establish himself in the City hence population pressure. Slums are common allover fast growing Cities in Africa including South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria so don't start pretending as if you live in some first world country
