calculator123: suarez and ney should step up their pk skills o.anyway nice smashing madrid record It's a general thing for the MSN triumvirate and not just the two of em. Suarez was the surest for me before his last 2 attempts. They all need to step up. It's more obvious now because we have been awarded loads and loads of PKs this season, 18! |

ollah1: The record was broken last night so extending it by winning more matches doesn't mean anything but just a plus and it won't be talked about again. It's the coach's job to lift pressure off his team and make them no think they are the best so they can respect every opponent no matter the state and condition they are.
Note that this is a record been held for a long time by Barca's arch rival. Do u think they are happy seeing barca break the record? Let Spurs win the league and Arsenal finishes third place and see how north London would be or let Spurs break the 49 unbeaten matches set by Arsenal a decade ago.
Surely this isn't a big deal but it's just worth been mentioned considering the team who set the record. The duration it's been set. The location it was broken. It's never a bad thing to mention it. Infact, its worth mentioning as its not an easy feat by every standard. Maybe like what Awesome01 said, we have been spoilt to the extent that, we don't dwell much on such anymore. We look forward to the unattainable, the impossible and the outta reach feats like doing a double-TREBLE and maybe a treble-TREBLE. So you see? The bar is being raised even higher than what anyone could ever imagine in this modern era of footie. The club don spoil us wella. No blame us. On a personal note though, I no send the unbeaten. Yes, I like am but my mind dey on some precious gems like picking up the treble again. That's what I look forward to. |

bykebyke: We don't really care about it...the only thing Barca fans care about now is winning the treble back to back. Gbam! And that's what Lucho too cares about. In a bid to give his players a much needed rest he didn't field a strong side against Valencia in the second leg of our Copa Del Rey meeting. But alas, Kaptoum gave him a lifeline. If he were that interested with such I guess he wouldn't have fielded an inexperienced side against a Valencia team playing at the Mestella. So, like Lucho always say, the unbeaten is nothing without trophies to back it up. Madrid did 22 games winning streak, more than what we did in Ronaldinho's era, yet they ended the season without a major trophy. At the end of the day nobody remember say something like that happen because e no bear fruit. |

Ibime: Unmerited award driven by 2014 WC hype.
It's the kind of signing I expect Emenalo, Abramovic or Airmark to make. A totally unnecessary signing that adds nothing to Chelsea as a team except to add to our expensive collection of AMs.
When I hear Naingolann or Pjanic, those are signings a manager would make - one who knows football and has considered the strengths and weaknesses of the team.
Signing that wetback would be a setback. The emboldened is spot on. |

ollah1: They are diff things entirely. Equalling and surpassing. We equal it the last time making madrid and Barca on same page regarding the unbeaten record but this time Barca is ahead of them with one match(still counting). It's worth been mentioned And after weekend's game you still mention right? Because of course we would have added 1 more match to it. We shouldn't be like other clubs who wanna sing every little praise with every little opportunity. This is by no means little, just saying we shouldn't dwell on it every now and then. More reason I like Lucho. He doesn't wanna talk about unbeaten runs when we are yet to win titles. This doesn't mean he doesn't like it, but then, it means there is no need to dwell on it. That's just the way I see it though. |

ollah1: BARCELONA SURPASS REAL MADRID TO SET NEW UNBEATEN RECORD
Luis Enrique's men have now gone 35 matches without defeat across all competitions, bettering the streak los Blancos managed under Leo Beenhakker in the 1988-89 season
Why isn't anybody talking about this ? We talked about it after the Sevilla game when we equalled it. For me I don't see any need bringing it up every now and then. Maybe till it gets to 40 or so. No need overflogging some issues. |

Decale: Messi gives out pks that won't affect the outcome of the game. That's the team spirit, to increase the MSN's goal tally. I see nothing wrong with that, the only problem is for them to train themselves on the art of penalty taking.
Messi won't give it out if the team is ahead by a lone goal or behind. That's why the team is how it is, unselfish and a model for other European clubs to emulate. Your mama born you well. Kudos!

Pataki: Chamberlain under a good coach will excel. Not under this w@nker of a coach. That is why of all the Arsenal players, Mourinho wanted Chamberlain during the last summer transfer season.
I have not observed Chamberlain having a poor game under Roy Hodgson. And I strongly believe that with a new manager in place, not this archaic, mediocre, Windows 1 coach; Chamberlain will fully rise to the potentials that he has in him. |
