ddippset: yes that's quite right. Neymar hasn't scored a lot not because he looks for messi but because he hasn't been too clinicAl, he has had chances. But he's been d0pe on that left wing. One goal in about 3 games is ok. At this rate let's expect About 18-20 goals from him in all competitions. That would be a good return for a winger.
You are right... and one thing he needs to do is come outta the wing sometimes. If you have noticed him well, you will discover that he sometimes restricts himself to the left wing even when there is need for him to come out and be near the goal area.

Well, all in all, he has been spectacular so far. Definitely with time the goals will surely come.

luluosas: Well, I don't know if I will be correct. What I think is that, it is the available network type at any given time that shows up on your network notification, not necessarily by toggling your device between network modes.
My reason for this stand is the experience I had when I travelled to Benin City last time. On my Samsung Galaxy Y Pro DUOS, I can only switch 3G on one Sim card at a time but, the Internet network signal that was displaying on my screen at intervals were Edge, 3G, H+ and GPRS on the same Sim card that was switched to 3G. This is why I believed it is the network type available at a time that shows up on your device.
Again, if you are in a 3G coverage area, why do you normally experience automatic fluctuations between network type on your device even without you toggling your device network type? I may be wrong though. Thank you.
Hmmm.... You are correct anywayz. The thing I tried to prove in that post was; if a phone is showing up 4G, it's not necessarily a yardstick that the network supports it but for the fact that it's a US version and not the international version, that is what it would show in place of 3G. A friend of mine uses a US version of the GS3 and I make use of the international version. His shows 4G even though the Nigerian network doesn't support that yet. It shows it in place of 3G. But mine as an international version shows H+ and sometimes just H and rarely 3G.

One thing worth noting is; will they be able to give their services to a large number of people and still offer such speeds?

spoilerx: I use an unlocked at&t galaxy s4 with glo, and sometimes it shows 4G. I suspect they r already testing 4G networks
Nope...That's because its the American version of the GS4. The 4G is like the 3G that shows up in most devices. Let me ask you; do you have an option to toggle between 2G/3G/4G?
Phones › Re: Is 4G-LTE Network A Reality In Nigeria? by dmcdad: 3:41pm On Sep 19, 2013
Seeking for 4G/LTE (Long term evolution) now is like building castle in the air.We make use of devices that are capable of taking up speeds as high as 50-150mbps. I mean, devices like the iPhone 5, 5S, 5C, Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, HTC One just to mention a few, are capable of rendering speeds between 75 and 150mbps. The big question now is: on what netwrok are you gonna use that on to appreciate or rather maximise such functionality? Even our so-called 3.75G is trash compared to Edge some countries offer. Not to mention their 3G and the ultimate 4G/LTE.

It's really sad to see that after paying much for internet services, the speed we are being offered is nothing to write home about.

The day I was downloading something (Windows 8 ) and the download skyrocketed from around 300kbps to 2.5mbps, I nearly got mad because it was unbelievable. I felt my eyes were deceiving me and also thought I was dreaming, buh lo and behold, it was real.

Imagine Google is offering a download speed of 1Gbps with it's fibre optics. Although it's only covered a limited part of the US and moving from one town to another. Same thing with Japan. The last time I checked they were upgrading to a download speed of 1Gbps. Just imagine! Infact, we don't even have devices that will be able to contain such speed. Imagine you wanna download something of 1Gbyte and after clicking download, hoping to save the file on your desktop and before you get back to click ok you have the message that your download is complete. For someone like me, I will need to have a storage system that could be up to 1Petabyte.

But seriously, we need an ugrade asap so we too can enjoy good Internet connection. Our tel companies have to close the gap a bit cause it's getting wider and wider by the day. Even if it's making sure that our 3.75 is reliable, it would be great. Afterall, not everywhere in the US is 4G / LTE covered. We just need to perfect what we have first before asking for more. 3.75 in Nigeria is nothing but a joke.

Good game boys.... Ajax played well buh overall, we were superior. It's a good thing La Pulga responded positively to Ronaldo’s hatrick. Let the battle for the top scorer of the UCL begin.

Valdes was awesome and Piqué too had a great game as he made some well timed tackles...

I hope the coach gives game time to the younger guys this weekend when we meet Rayo.

Ngokafor: ..emmm oga dmcdad, you raised some good points but please tone down on your Igbo reference abeg undecided...thank you in advance..
Lol... Thanks anywayz. But, I sometimes wonder what some people are fighting for. I made a point from what I did notice around me and it wasn't to label the igbo people bad or something but just tryna prove that it doesn't always work with the same tribe stuff. I don’t have anything against igbos and will never have anything against em.

Besides, it makes me wonder why people are so concerned about this since I believe in the fact that; irrespective of whether my state will have this defect or not doesn't mean I will share from it. At the end of the day I judge people (not really like judging buh classifying) with their personalities and not by their religious or ethnic background. There is virtually nothing someone will say about my state that will affect me. You know why? It's because most things that are peculiar to that state are far from me. Needless I say one can't even guess right if one were to guess the state I am from if the person gets to meet me in person. That is because my way of life, to my looks and even to the way I talk will not give you any clue I am from such state. What am I saying in essence? I am saying there is nothing that I will be perturbed about even if one comes on here and lambast my state because it wouldn't change anything about me.

So, in as much as I accept what you said and respect it. It is also good to note that you shouldn't bother about what anyone says about your tribe if you have a sui-generis personality. And also, I never meant to say something negative about your tribe, just tried as much as I could to drive home my point with such reference.

Thanks and have a blissful time.

Bliss4Lyfe: lollz! Very funny, becos FFK used does same lines. Marriage should not be about tribe but love, but why will u love to marry an igbo girl?(delibrate choice) it seems everybody in nairaland wants to marry igbo, now that is marrying for tribe not love, becos it is fashionable(stereotype) and not for content of the persons character, as tribe will not then be a factor.

Simple supply and demand economics, makes clear that increase in demand will lead to a drastic reduction in supply, meaning alot of no from igbo families, since they don't raise children with intent to throw away but to continue their name, culture and people.

I am sure we can agree on this, even if we agree to disagree.
Hmmm... In my earlier post I stated it categorically that I am not against inter - tribal marriage and would love to marry an igbo girl. Now I ain't saying I will or want for certain but will love to ( that is if it comes ). But sincerely, there is nothing special about them that one can't actually get from others. It's just that all through my life, everyone that tends to come around me tends to be from the igbo tribe. Mind you, I am not the the type that makes friends ( that is, initiate the move ), people whom I come across tends to do that, so it's not like I select to have friends from just the igbo tribes.

Moreso, like I stated earlier, virtually all the girls I have come across since I have been growing up are Igbos. On the part of the girls, almost all of em seem to be from Anambra. So, you can see why I tend to grow fond of them.

As for the analogy you gave using demand and supply to replicate your point, it seemed kinda lame not to mention awkward.

Bliss4Lyfe: Why the focus on the igbo people? What is the agenda? Leave us be and talk about ur own people, can't love anybody when u don't love urself, charity begins at home...
My dear why start from the middle of something? Stop being naive please... And what is the pointless statement on "you can't love anybody blah blah blah" I just stated what I discovered to drive my point home. Who says I wanna be against you guys? All my friends from childhood to adulthood have been Ibos. You know why? Cause I like the people. You should know I don't have anything against your people so give me a break! Gosh!

Besides, I even stated it in my earlier post that I would love to marry an ibo girl...Does it still seem like I have something against you guyshuh Smh... Na wa for some people oooooo

DailyNews: Lol, oh no, I will disappoint u becos my reply will be very lengthy, lol.

And pls...I only referenced that haven't u wondered y we have increased rate of marital failures today, I then said that its becos we people of today marry anyhow without making proper enquiries abt who we plan to marry, I didn't say its cos of inter-tribal marriage that we have increased marital failure now, get me@dmc?

Oh maybe I didn't put it well. I only referenced on lack of proper enquiries as part of y today marriages fail and not inter-tribal marriage pls.

Now back to Jmoore's last comment. All marriages have d tendency of failing...but not with equal probability or rate, u know y?

See, every job have risk, every business have risk too but there are jobs and businesses with high risk, and such attract high insurance prem.

You can't compare the risk an engineer working on a rig platform above d atlantic ocean faces with the risk an engineer supervising the installation of a tank farm in ogun state.

You can compare the risk a scientist working in a nuclear power plant faces with that of a scientist working a laboratory in a hospital.

Everything in life have risk, but some have high risk.

There is what we call: high risk investments and they usually come with high yield unlike those with low risk.

What am I saying in essence? Due to:

Language, cultural, background, belief, family norms, tradition, orientation, etc differences, inter-racial and inter-tribal marriages have more tendencies of failing than same race or same tribe marriages.

Agreed, all marriages have the possibility of failing but not with equal probabilities or tendencies. That's my point bro.

DailyNews: lol, you're funny dmclad....Yes/No.

Yes in the sense that if I am marrying a girl from my tribe, I already know majority of our culture/tradition/norms/belief...so I won't need much enquiry about those...unlike when I decide to marry a lady from Zimbabwe, of which many don't even make enquiry until eventuality occurs, ask my brother...don't base ur judgment based on what u think or belief is right. We learn from others' experience, that was why Bible, Quran, etc were written to guide us.

When inter-tribal or inter-racial marriages fail, they fall completely apart and in pieces unlike when same tribe/race marriage fails...if u doubt me, start today to collect data on that.

...and to think any sane Caucasian man from a well to do family would give you a black man his daughter to marry, lol...my friends do gist me...lol...

Our brothers who marry Caucassians marry those from lower end...aged, divorced, obessed, etc, cos its very difficult for a real Caucassian to give a black his daughter to marry and very rare for a real Caucasian guy with nice Caucasian background to marry a black. They know why.

A Jewish man can never give you a black man his daughter to marry, very much impossible. All these are for a reason, cos they know...they understand...and same with Indians. But we Nigerians love violating natural laws...we marry anyhow, even without enquiries...most times we Nigerians marry based on:

1. Materialism
2. Desperation
3. Selfish reasons
4. Religious bigotism
To be sincere and honest with you, all these are baseless and redundant to the highest level... Well, I think I know what's wrong with you and you just need to try and control or contain it...

You are just not correct bruv... Please try and see the light of this. And what os it with the "that is why so many marriages fail today"? Okay now let me as you something, and try not to give me an epistle but a short and precise answer. If you attribute inter-tribal marriage as a big factor in why divorce turns out to be the order of the day for many today, then what seems to be the problem with Americans who doesn't have such cultural and tribal diversity like we do and yet have the highest divorce rate?

It's either your anser negate all the epistles you have been posting about inter - tribal marriage being the instigator of most marriage failures / divorce or your answer will lean towards bringing thw real nitty-gritties that brings about divorce of which inter - tribal marriage is no where near a factor that makes it erupt these days.
