bykebyke: Neymar to suspended vs Osasuna.
Arda Turan to start..Enrique better stick to this set of players for that match.
And Umtiti was superb. All of a sudden you are now advocating for Arda?! Wow! |

ddippset: of course you're right. anything can happen. but we don't like being in that 'anything can happen' position, do we? for now I'd be more comfortable putting myself in a 'fail safe' position. if that 'anything' eventually happens, good and fine, lol. do you think it'd be wrong to prioritise the champions league at this point? what do you think dmcdad. Well... To say we should prioritise the Champions League as against the league would admittedly mean we have somewhat conceeded defeat to Real Madrid. No? For me, it's too early to start talking about what and what competition our priorities should be. Why? Because the Champions League is a long way from now, taking into account the fact that we are already done with the group stage. Hence, Champions League footie would resume just over 2 months from now, and you can imagine talking about prioritising a competition that's 2 months away over the one that is still running. What I would say is this; since we ain't got Champions League footie to bug ourselves with, and for now the Copa del Rey is more like a child's play, considering the fact that until January or thereabouts, we won't be playing any serious team, all our attention should be focused on winning every points in the league (both home and away). Okay imagine that we have gained more points away than home in the league this season. If we can correct this anomaly and work towards improving the team generally, we can fight head-on with a view to winning all matches henceforth. So in conclusion, and to answer your question more directly, prioritising the league is all we have to do now since the Champions League KO is just over 2 months away. If, when the time comes for us to resume playing Champions League footie and we are still in this sorta predicament, then I would definitely advocate for prioritising the Champions League over the League. |

sebod: I have not absolved Enrique of any blame for his blunders this season. His insistence on playing your right hand man 'Arda' in the midfield is even enough to heap lots of criticism on him. However, we have always criticised Neymar for his poor performances this season without blaming Lucho's tactics for his poor form, Suarez' poor run of form has never been hinged on Lucho's poor tactics while nobody can relate Gomez and Rakitic's inability to string passes together just to save their lives to Lucho's incompetence. Therefore, I wouldn't relate Messi's display last night to Lucho's poor tactics too. Messi on his day, even when played as a defender would have done better. He shares same blame with Neymar for letting us down even though the coach had his own fare share of the blame. I go like buy you drink bruv. This is what I call being objective. |

ddippset: lol. ronaldo in the same category as pele and maradona? I swear I am hearing that for the very first time in my life. since 2012 I have seen debates, I have watched documentaries, from ex footballers, from international journalists, from TV pundits, from coaches; who is the greatest of all time? messi , maradona or pele? we all have witnessed this debate a hundred times at least. I swear ronaldo has never come into that equation, never! and he never would. maybe if he had played in that final and scored a hattrick he would stand a little chance, just a little chance. as for eusebio, he only comes into the GOAT equation one out of seven or eight times. the most consistent variables in the GOAT equation are maradona, pele and messi. 9 out of ten times the trio come into the equation brother. Well said brodaly. |

Besides, in this age of quicktype keyboard, predictive keyboard and autocorrect as well as autocomplete keyboard features, typing has never been a been easier. Anywayz, it's highly advisable to type in full as it gives everyone equal opportunity in understanding your posts or texts.
