I guess either way Enrique is fuccked! When the team plays well and wins, the boys get the credit. When the team plays badly Enrique gets the stick.

I have not absolved Enrique of any blame for his blunders this season. His insistence on playing your right hand man 'Arda' in the midfield is even enough to heap lots of criticism on him. However, we have always criticised Neymar for his poor performances this season without blaming Lucho's tactics for his poor form, Suarez' poor run of form has never been hinged on Lucho's poor tactics while nobody can relate Gomez and Rakitic's inability to string passes together just to save their lives to Lucho's incompetence. Therefore, I wouldn't relate Messi's display last night to Lucho's poor tactics too. Messi on his day, even when played as a defender would have done better. He shares same blame with Neymar for letting us down even though the coach had his own fare share of the blame.

He was the protagonist in Atletico's and France's exceptional UCL and Euro campaign last season.With a little bit of luck on both tourney, he would have by now been the favourite for the award.His performance this year has been remarkable and he deserves to be recognized for it.He unquestionably deserves to be in the top 3, and in my opinion has been the 2nd best player in 2016.

I swear I am hearing that for the very first time in my life. since 2012 I have seen debates, I have watched documentaries, from ex footballers, from international journalists, from TV pundits, from coaches; who is the greatest of all time? messi , maradona or pele? we all have witnessed this debate a hundred times at least. I swear ronaldo has never come into that equation, never! and he never would. maybe if he had played in that final and scored a hattrick he would stand a little chance, just a little chance. as for eusebio, he only comes into the GOAT equation one out of seven or eight times. the most consistent variables in the GOAT equation are maradona, pele and messi. 9 out of ten times the trio come into the equation brother.
