Yes.. For those still on their 3G, not those on their 4G as it (4G) is backward compatibile.

But I wouldn't call Glo LTE ancient because they chose coverage over speed.

Better speed: 2600Mhz (band 7) > 1800Mhz (band 3) > 800Mhz (band 20) > 700Mhz (band 28)


Better coverage: 700Mhz (band 28) > 800Mhz (band 20) >1800Mhz (band 3) > 2600Mhz (band 7)

i.e the higher the frequency, the greater the speed and the lower the frequency, the wider the coverage

Mtn south africa uses band 3, while mtn Uganda uses band 7

Only cons are you can't change notification light from white, and navigation buttons don't light up. All others are pros, from battery to processor to battery, to looks to build, to camera to display .
