Oooo, got your now, the fingerprint sensor you mean? It's an alarm on fingerprint sensor, I don't think you can turn it off.

sadly that was the fate of my redmi note 3 pro too. Gave it to bae and warned her to be careful with the charging Port. Just 2months along the line this happened. As I'm talking to you the fone is laying @ one corner
Why not put up the phone for sale instead of of leaving it like that? State your offer here.

But at the end of it all..device supports multiple bands to its advantage pf missing out like glo with their ancient band..im certain wont miss out on airtel

No doubt about support for multiple bands.

But I wouldn't call Glo LTE ancient because they chose coverage over speed.

Better speed: 2600Mhz (band 7) > 1800Mhz (band 3) > 800Mhz (band 20) > 700Mhz (band 28)

Better coverage: 700Mhz (band 28) > 800Mhz (band 20) >1800Mhz (band 3) > 2600Mhz (band 7)

i.e the higher the frequency, the greater the speed and the lower the frequency, the wider the coverage

Sell the note 3 instead, you'll get more than 30k. Fixing shouldn't exceed 4-5k

Correct, the best thing that happens to LTE coverage in Nigeria is the coming of glo 4G LTE....

My phone supports the two MTN bands but GLO beats MTN hands down in terms of speed in my location.

Yes it happens. Probably a problem with the base station your phone connects to

Yes.. For those still on their 3G, not those on their 4G as it (4G) is backward compatibile.

For those who think Xiaomi phones are expensive. $138 for a phone with sd425 when I can buy the Redmi 5a with the same SOC for less than $100.

J2 (2015), J2 (2017), J2 (2018).

The funny thing is that the two earlier versions are exact copy of themselves

hii house, compliments of the season. i hope u are enjoyed ur xmas cos i did ! so i got my phone after the first one was stolen, last week. i had cancelled my order two times, cos i was confused as to which to go 4. thanks to @protein o. (he get patience o.. infact i was tired of me and changing of mind angry grin) it wasnt even up to the 10 working days he mentioned as orders in december take time to deliver . dnt mind that am posting nw, get stuffed with christmas goodies!. honestly i would recommend him over and over again for prompt delivery, he knows the customers heart and ensures you are convinced with your choice b4 he places the order. you wont regret taking his advice. heres the pix below,i choose black @ first since the first one stolen was black, but i am loving this choice.

4-5weeks from 11:11 is third week of December. So you see that even changing the time-line won't solve the issue.

This matter has been over thrashed here that it's beyond anyone's control once your item has been shipped by the courier.

I wonder who you would have blamed if you placed the order yourself. wink
Oh! I think you guys actually misunderstood my post. I'm not blaming the touts here, in fact, I really commend their efforts. I was actually venting my frustration and anger at the stores/shipping companies who ought to have got over the overwhelming sales in November. I was only airing a suggestion to the touts so as to avoid disappointing first-time customers.

BTW my package arrived Lagos this morning but I know I can't get it until after new year due to the holiday
