texaco1: in politics the end justifies the means .just watch
ok
PoliticsRe: 10 Ogun APC Lawmakers Defect To PDP by DMilanista: 1:32pm On Jul 14, 2014
texaco1: For Governor Ibikunle
Amosun of Ogun State,
getting the support of the
leaders of the All
Progressives Congress, APC,
in 2015 to contest as the
governorship candidate of
the party might be a tall
dream going by the scenario
that played itself out in the
state recently.
It is a known fact that there
are two major factions in
Ogun APC namely; Amosun
Camp, which is loyal to the
Governor, and Osoba Camp,
which is loyal to former
governor Olusegun Osoba,
and reports have it that the
two camps have been trying
to outplay each other in the
countdown to 2015 elections.
According to those close to
the Governor and the party
in the state, Governor
Amosun had handled the
recently held state party
registration and party
congress with levity, and this
is said to have been his
albatross.
We were reliably informed
that loyalists of former
governor Olusegun Osoba,
led by Aare Remilekun
Bakare mobilized people to
register for the party and
that he personally spent a
whopping N87 Million to
ensure that Osoba’s Camp
has more members in the
party and won more seats in
the state congress.
Bakare reportedly went to
the secretariat of the APC in
Abuja with documents of the
registration to show that
Osoba’s Camp was able to
mobilize more people for
registration than Amosun’s
camp.
The party leadership, we
learned, was happy with the
strides made by the camp
and gave Bakare a path on
the back for the feat.
Sources revealed that
Governor Amosun did not
take it seriously, when his
supporters told him on the
phone, while he was away
from the country, that
Osoba’s Camp was gaining
more grounds in the party
than his camp.
He was said to have told
them that the whole thing
would be sorted out, when
he comes back from his trip.
“The deed had been done
before he came back and
before he realized what was
going on, but there was
nothing he could than to run
to Abuja to meet with the
leaders of the party on the
issue. When he got to Abuja,
a top leader of the party,
and former minister of the
Federal Minister of the
Federal Capital Territory,
Malam Nasir El-Rufai told
him that the state congress
could not be reversed and
that he was careless as a
sitting Governor to have
allowed another camp to
take over from him. The
Governor felt bad about this
as the interim Chairman of
the Party, Chief Bisi Akande
agreed that he was
careless,” said our source.
The source said further that
Amosun went to Lagos to
meet a National Leader of
the party, Asiwaju Bola
Ahmed Tinubu, who also told
him to accept the defeat.
The Governor reportedly
went to meet Governor
Babatunde Raji Fashola of
Lagos, who later spoke to
Asiwaju Tinubu on the issue
and Tinubu was said to have
promised to do something on
the matter before the
national convention of the
party later in the year.
The game plan now,
according to another reliable
source, is that Amosun’s
Deputy, Prince Segun
Adesegun might be asked to
step down in 2015 if the
incumbent Governor is
eventually given a second
term, to pave way for a
candidate from the camp of
Chief Osoba.
Adesegun, who is actually a
product of Osobs’s camp,
reportedly fell out with the
camp, when he decided to
pitch tent with the camp of
Governor Amosun.
It was also revealed that
Governor Amosun might
move to Accord Party or any
other party if the APC fails to
field him for re-election in
2015, but that he is still
banking on the fact that
Tinubu would talk to Chief
Osoba and his supporters to
allow him go for a second
term of office.
Few days ago, Osoba
declared there was no more
opportunity for him to give
Amosun another and from
what we reliably gathered,
the Governor is doing
everything possible to let
Osoba know that he is
presently in charge of the
state. Aproko247 has learnt
that Amosun is allegedly
moving to frustrate Osoba by
carrying out some actions to
show his superiority in Ogun
State as the sitting Governor.
But a source informed our
reporter that leaders of the
party at the national level
are making some moves to
make sure both camps
reconcile ahead of the 2015
general elections.
“APC will not give any
loophole for the PDP
(Peoples’ Democratic Party)
or the Labour Party to take
over the state in 2015,” a
source informed Aproko247.
For now, all hands are
crossed as to where the
pendulum will swing to.
-Culled from Aproko247
how come Osoba then accused d party's national leadership of bias when he was told to go and resolve issues amicably with Amosun? Why has he bn crying foul since after d state congress if he controls d state party structure? Why was he absent from d swear-in ceremony of party excos in Abuja? All d answers point to d fact that Osoba has lost relevance in APC and Ogun state. If Amosun leaves APC today, dat's d end of APC in Ogun.

texaco1: www.theoctopusnews.com/gov-ibikunle-amosun-loses-control-of-ogun-apc-eyes-accord-party/
source ain't credible. Did u also hear dat Osoba planned dumping APC for SDP which he later denied and said he'll remain in APC bt 'll give Amosun a tough time.
PoliticsRe: 10 Ogun APC Lawmakers Defect To PDP by DMilanista: 12:35pm On Jul 14, 2014
texaco1: you don't know what happened ,now listen carefully.there has been a running battle withing apc between the osoba led faction and amosun led faction . Amosun has been intimidating the osoba faction with thugs and so on, but recently the osoba faction has ttaken over the apc state machinery. And they have vowed nott to make amosun the next governor of ogun state. I believ e the 10 that decamped to pdp are loyalist of amosun so what has been mentioned in hush hush tones for sometime now is finally coming t to reality, amosun is most likely to decamp to pdp anytime from now . All the romance between amosun and obj is yielding fruit. It is a known fact that tinubu will only support his ogboni con fraternity brother osoba .so the coast is clear
lie!!! Osoba faction has taken over d party machinery? Bro, talk anoda thing. Or is it not d same Osoba dat was aggrieved dat Amosun carpeted all positions at d ward, local and state congress and swore to fight Amosun to d finish cos of dat. Besides, Osoba has long lost relevance in Ogun state. D only threat to Amosun in Ogun are d LP boys.
PoliticsRe: 10 Ogun APC Lawmakers Defect To PDP by DMilanista: 12:29pm On Jul 14, 2014
Akinlade! I dey laugh o. After spending 4 tenures in reps. Was in PDP before. When he couldn't get ticket again, he ran to APC. Now that he wants to run 4 Governorship and knows d incumbent Gov 'll get d ticket, he's back in PDP. Even his Yewa people won't vote for him. Dat I'm sure off. By d way, Labour party is d direct rival to APC in Ogun state. A party with Gbenga Daniel, Sarafa Tunji Isola, Gboyega Isiaka e.t.c. 2015 elections 'll indeed b very interesting bt I doubt if they can defeat Amosun in Ogun state.

After losing 2002 final to Brasil. Germany started anoda project. Klinsman and Low were appointed in 2004 to manage d team. D former left after '06 paving way for d latter to b in charge. Since then he has bn in charge. 10yrs of football development and patience for d Coach has finally paid off for Germany. Congrats Klinsman, Congrats Low, Congrats Germany#WorldChampions. I hope Nigeria learns from this.

FeverRay: Op I don't knw where u got ur ranking from, but according to FIFA, here's the list of d best goals of d ungoing mundial

1 jame Rodrigues, Colombia vs Uruguay
2. Van Persie, Netherlands vs Spain
3. Tim Cahill, Australia vs Netherlands
4. Arjen Robben, Netherlands vs Spain
5. Xherdan Shaqiri, Switzerland vs Honduras
6. David Luiz, Brazil vs Colombia
7. Lionel Messi, Argentina vs Iran
8. James Rodrigues, Colombia vs Japan
9. Gervinho, Ivory Coast vs Colombia
10. Jermaine Jones, USA vs Portugal
My exact thought o. Cos d last time I watched d FIFA's top 10 goals James Rodriguez was leading and there was no Musa goal. So OP, don't feed us with lies compiled at ur backyard to console us.
