both are at par on RAM and Speed but pictures, sound and video quality is better on Nokia 5.1

yeah,... Used Sammy before. Just as with other phones, heating, battery drain and lagging has a lot to do with use; installed Apps, Cache and all.
I'm on 7.1 but HMD imposing root restrictions on their devices is making me have a rethink on Nokia.

I’m having serious issues with my Nokia X6/6.1 plus and I seriously doubt this makes sense at all.
Phone was bought second week of February and it’s not even the main line. Just to put in glo sim for occasional hotspot browsing.

Now this phone won’t charge nor hold charge. I literally plugged this all night and battery is at 9 percent. I used another charger too. Same issue for days/2 weeks now.

Now I’m reading that someone said don’t use while charging, only Nokia 5.1 plus and 6.1 plus only, bla bla bla. I don’t even know what to make of this.

And to think I actually wanted to sell this phone 2 weeks after purchase but it was the beauty of the phone that held me back.

Seller claims I should change cord and if that doesn’t work, I should change charging port. This will be my first time of doing this in my years of using phones.

Please any other person experiencing this kind of trouble with the device?

I had issue of battery previously after updating to pie (Nokia x5). I chatted with their customer care and I was told to restart my phone in safe mode, exhaust the battery completely. Then charge the battery to 100% while still switched off. These steps have totally solved the problem. It was previously due to a bug resulting in battery calibration problem i guess.

To restart in safe mode, one press and hold the power button as usual to bring up the 'restart' and power off options. Then you press and hold on the restart icon till it says restarting in safe mode. Note that in safe mode third party apps cannot be used

Honestly, dts d mistake I made with 7.1, fell in love with the aesthetics and never knew of the restriction till I got it. True it's devoid of bloatware and Android P is really smart but there is a feeling dt comes with knowing u have root powers. Nokia will definitely lose Android geeks cos of their conservative nature.

Don't know why my battery is misbehaving. It normally drops like 2% overnight but It drops like 10% overnight in the past three days now.

Check ur recent installations. Optimize them from battery settings.

1. Tick 'show hidden files' on ES Explorer and search for and delete '.nomedia' file.

2. Why would you want WhatsApp media to cluster your gallery?
Well, try this WhatsApp >> Settings >> Chats>> Tick "Show media in gallery"

Playstore: NOVA, ZENIU, TSF 3D, GO... even with the default Quickstep, u can customize to ur taste. I don't use a launcher though.
