See points raised, see question kiaa abegi hin get strenght to waka jare feelme2020: I may be wrong but the Onuachu i see for the super eagles cannot do anything with the ball at his feet. If you give him a pass, he cannot pass back and make a one two. If you remember Iwobi's goal against Cameroon, he passed to Ighalo and ighalo passed back to him and then he scored. If it is Onuachu he will not pass back and will simply loose the ball. His ball passing and progression is very poor. Maybe it is different at his club. I dont think he can shoot accurately in the box 18 or convert low crosses. He is not also mobile and aggresive as in he does not press and his speed is not exceptional. Apart from air balls, what other strenghts does he have |

Yes, IBb golf course too, it was laid By a DANJUMA Paul elunico: I was at Sen. David Mark's golf course in Benue state some time ago, you need to see that place. The grass was leveled, green, there were even sprinklers wetting the grass.
This is a personal property with such quality, but when it comes to government, there's this mentality they have that makes it a taboo to make life easy for citizens. Check out our government schools, hospitals, in fact infrastructure wise, they are useless. |

temi1290: Of course, they shouldn't get used to nonsense when the right thing can be done.We should be calling on the authorities in charge to be proactive and get us a good pitch and not telling the players to get used to playing on potato farm. How do you even enjoy a match where the ball can't move smoothly without it bouncing? How do expect African football to develop when you keep asking the players to get used to trash.Later na we go still dey castigate FB's that sees African countries as second choice. We are where we are as a continent because we've continued to get used to suffering from our leaders, and we will remain where we are if we don't start demanding for our right, the interest of the masses and not their selfish interest. Which authorities are you talking about? Be dribbling yoursef upadan, when I ask you to redirect that ya question, why did you think am talking about? Kiaaa..... Yeye dey smell |

Guy, you dont grab, do you? Its not about the turf alone, its all about the result, lemme ask you a question, if as a country got beaten in a fine natural grass field away from home, even thought you had that same turf at home, if you discover that your opponent struggle in an artificial turfm and you had such at home too which turf will you play ur home game against them, natural or artificial? temi1290: Slaughter them or not,is it bad if the so called "giant of Africa" have good pitch like south africa and the likes, Sierra Leone is not on the level of this countries you mentioned, playing against them will be a different ball game entirely. What is bad is bad, don't justify it. |

What are you trying to say here? No lemme para for you ooo, even if we play south Africa, or one of those northern Africans, they will play it on a good turf?, knowing that the SE can slaughter them on it? temi1290: Y are you justifying mediocrity eh brotherly, this boys play week in week out on good pitches in their respective clubs, they don't have to go through the stress of controlling the ball twice before the ball will stop, and you expect them to come back for just two weeks and "get used to" rubbish.Pity this boys nah,y should they get used to nonsense when the right thing can be done,a whole self acclaimed " giant of Africa " doesn't have a standard football pitch and you are talking about " getting used to". |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by do4luv14(m): 4:07pm On Nov 20, 2020 |
What then happens to the word GETING USE TO? temi1290: Egbon please what are they saying about the poor player turf they keep forcing this players to play on.You can't expect this players do wonders when the ball is bouncing anyhow, the ball becomes hard to control and football isn't free flowing.
I understand that Rohr doesn't have tactics, infact Rohr spoilt that first leg because of poor subs, but we need to cut these players some slack, what they play on in europe is good and we see the kind of wonders they perform,if a whole Messi can complain when a pitch isn't suitable enough for free flowing football, then who are our players not to complain.
Imagine a match between Nigeria and Sierra Leone in a stadium like camp nou, very wide and smooth, believe you me, Sierra Leone will be made to chase the ball for the entire duration of 90.They will be beaten to stupor, this I'm sure of. |

smartsmith0907: Am sorry I was frustrated today It hurt when you give in a lot and you fail to get the desired result...no one is gonna be happy with that. That's one of the reasons to always makes home Advantage count, I had been saying this since in this thread, but nobody cares to listen, As soon as the SE got used to playing in such surfaces, the better for us, Even at home we can't express ourselves freely, it's in away, where the home team will do everything to frustrate us from winning, that we would now express ourselves? Anyway, it had come and gone, the bitter memory will be with us for some time to come |
