we can debate the morality of the show but safarigirl is definitely right about it opening financial doors.

first the house where the housemates stayed would have been built by nigerian labourers and vendors. house accessories, food, drinks you name it provided by nigerian vendors.

i've not even mentioned producers, editors, camera crew.

clothes and make up, furniture makers nko?

social media content managers? the ripple effect of that show on nigeria's economy is immense abi you didn't hear more than N7bn was the amount made from votes cast for housemates in the finale? i personally don't watch the show as i used to in the past but whatever might be my misgivings about the programme i can't deny it has huge financial im;act on the country
apart from financial doors? what more does it open,
and most times they don't use the financial power gained for tangible good,

if otherwise educate me

I don't watch big brother in the UK l find the show DEBASED and MORALLY BANKRUPT. l don't watch such superficial nonsense.

Do you really believe that this show has empowered Nigerian youthhuh

Not everything that has a monetary benefit empowers or develops positively. It celebrates stupidity and superficial nonsense, it replaces positive diligent led aspiration with sheer stupidity.

It celebrates what should not be celebrated.

That's why l never watch it.
that's why I hardly watch it,
give me guilder ultimate search, maltina dance all, Nigeria, idol, etc anytime, anyday

huh

you must be kidding me...

so you don't know that rohr has directed his lawyer to relate with the nff as regard his salary and he is being ownedhuh

how about we missing out on 2015, 2017 afcon....who was the NFF boss?
chaiii
you are the one kidding yourself, go and read my first paragraph again, but this time slowly

as for pinnick Nff its not even clear to me yet,
cos as at 2015 pinnick was a commisioner in Delta state(correct me if am wrong)

why does he keep hiring coaches he can't fire...?
why Is Aigbogun and Imama still keeping their jobs?

what does they have to offer ?
how about the fate the super falcons suffered recently?
do you know how much Rohr is being owned?

under his watch we missed out on afcon twice you remember....?
one at a time then

firstly to the best of my knowledge ( i stand to be corrected tho)
its only Rohr and Thomas thats being paid salaries

while the rest are on bonues( Imama, pual salisu etc)

secondly they might no offer anything now, but its a learning process i believe

while that of the super falcon is quite unforunate, i blame it on the players
particularly Asisat

and finally where or who told you about or what informed your third and last paragraph

The problem is even if we stop approaching foreign groomed players or restrict SE to only players that came from the home front it’s not gonna guarantee that we will do the right thing.

So the real question is what is the real problem?
simple structure and Adminstration

To the best of my knowlede they dont have a B team yet ( i stand to be corrected tho )

plus they had been playing togather for long since 2018 afcon qualifiers

even our guyz are not in pre season, and they hasnt play up to even four games before being called up

What is your opinion about ladies breastfeeding their babies in public.

I do come across many ladies doing that and its looks a bit awkward to me but who am I to judge when their husbands are not complaining.

I don't think I would love to see my future wife breastfeeding our baby in public just like that. I believe there should be better ways to do that than just bring out their breast anyhow in public because the baby is crying and needs to feed.

I hope maybe some ladies here can actually say something about this.

Chaii OLUWA bless you noni, this is what i was telling tbaba last month

CC: Tbaba1234, charlesemrka

[quote author=slam7000 post=82725926]Today’s Nigeria football can be compared to the rot in the education sector.
UNN, Unibadan, ABU,Unilag used to command so much respect in the past just like the IICC/3SC, Rangers, Iwu nationale, Bendel insurance, ACB etc...the clubs today whether defunct, active in pro league or relegated have degenerated so bad.

Like our current academic system, it’s now trendy to see a governor/minister or some rich Nigerian in far away Uk or USA celebrating their children’s graduation, we have all abandoned our league to celebrate football talents of Nigeria descent born abroad and products of foreign football academies.

It is a very dangerous precedent. Nigeria has enough talent waiting to be harnessed, nurtured and developed. If we keep neglecting the league, what happened against Togo will be a child’s play.
Poaching foreign based talents will be counterproductive if actions are not taken now.
The wrong signals are being sent to the local talents in the league with the attention and aggressive nature that overseas players are approached and lobbied.

This is one of the reasons players move abroad after a short exposure in the league or continental engagement. Talents like Nwobodo, Ekiho Ehiosun, Sunday Mbah have all disappeared off the radar after some promising stints in the local league.

Not only football, it’s happening and affecting every aspect of our sports.
Onyalis, Yusuf Ali, Ezinwa brothers, Obikwelu, Ogunkoyas, Ini Obong have become folktales while attempts have been made a few years ago to poach American athletics rejects to don our green shirts while talents roam about aimlessly without facilities and guidance to develop.

We should be focusing on doing the same thing that resulted in the finished products that we all chase after today rather than combing every foreign sports academy looking for kids with Nigerian

Imama is worst bro....
Yusuf even though he was involved in bribery did far better unlike Imama.

many of this guys I mentioned are far better than Imama......

will even prefer the NFF divide his salary in part and add it to Rohr's pay and ask Rohr to manage the under 23 team....
sorry bros, e no dey collect salary oooo

is it every kid that shot out the NFF should be running after?

If we are not careful with these abroad born players,

we might as well have that dirty stigma of looking abroad everything for players too
