This gender equality thing sha.

Because of "gender inequality" there are hundreds of foundations and free vocational schools for females all around the world. Males end up working their asses off to enter and pay for the same trainings in institutions.

It's unfair to the male -folk too. Their call for equality has only brought inequality.

Politics / Re: Nigerians React To Fayose Loosing To APC In Ekiti, Reveals What He Needs To Do by DoblyYou(m): 11:42am On Jul 15, 2018

Far from it...I have no party. But from the beginning of the election preparations to sending of 30,000 Police officers to Ekiti state sounds scary and intimidating for an ordinary state governorship election.

We need a very free and fair election without any influence where electorates are allowed to vote their choice candidate without any influence.

But that didn't happen in Ekiti state.

If you are honest to yourself my brother, you would agree with me that the election was never free and fair.

We must celebrating bad leadership examples whether it is from our political side or not unless we are just after our stomach.

Me I have nothing to gain from whoever wins, all I want is a safe, peaceful, prosperous Nigeria for all...and so far so good, the current government voted in to bring positive change and to change the bad ways thing were done in Nigeria has failed, so lets call a spade a spade because calling a spade a knife won't take us anywhere good sooner or later

All these people are examples of bad leadership. The ruling party constantly uses force to bully people into cowardice. Please is it right to withdraw the govt house security from a serving governor? Disrupt the gathering where a serving governor is present?

We need to realize that this path does not lead to progress. Oppression never leads to progress. Just because they did doesn't mean we should do it. Let's create a sane environment for our children to grow up in.

Nigerians are wiser now.

How are Nigerians wiser when the majority still collect money before they vote? When office holders will need to pay back monetary support from tax payers money? How are Nigerians wiser when we still succumb to mental bullying (PDP) and physical/power bullying (APC)??

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Unemployment Rate Dropped By 1.1% In Q1 – NBS by DoblyYou(m): 10:31am On Jul 07, 2018
How many people constitute this 1.1%?

What's the average salary for new intakes in private and public sector?

What sectors are these people employed into?

Employment might have reduced but has poverty reduced? Can people eat good food? Is housing cheap?

Can these people's jobs feed them, and their family adequately undecided

Litmus:

There seem a disconnect between reality for Nigerians in Nigeria and Nigerians on social media. For instance, the average Nigerian in Nigeria possible may not even know of developments in plateau unlike majority of Nigerians online. In addition, much of Social Media output on Nigeria are distorted by political interests.

You're right. I recently met some youths today (28/06) and they didn't even know what happened in Plateau, they just knee there's been "a fuss" about plateau state of recent. And the social media/blog reports is really a menace. sad

Excuse me nairalanders. Are we fine? Like, are we still ok?
What kind of country do we want to leave for our children if people can just walk past this woman!
It's not good enough to just "weep" for our country.
It's not good enough to be "ashamed" for our country. Because while you're "weeping" and feeling "ashamed", people are getting killed. Your city or state might be safe for now, but if Plateau was once safe then.....

Please, let's react. Let's be proactive.

Education / Re: Falz And His Shenanigan Lamentations Against Nigerian Church Universities by DoblyYou(m): 8:37am On Jun 03, 2018
Why is this so hard for us all to get

The idea of Tony Elumelu owning a university is conceiving because, of course, he's a businessman, social entrepreneur & philanthropist.

But here, if the church isn't gaining money/profit, what do they stand to gain?

Why create an institution that widens the gap between people? All those well behaved, spiritually active guys in CU didn't learn about Jesus in university. They learnt from home & secondary school life!

If the church REALLY wants to get to the hearts of youths in the society, why don't you catch them young?? Set up affordable boarding schools, start from primary to secondary.
