Barca Superstar Neymar has reportedly agreed terms on a contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after he informed the club of his wish to join from Barcelona.

According to sources close to PSG are alleged to have told ​ESPN that the Brazilian superstar has held discussions with the club's Qatari owners and sporting director Antero Henrique over a move to the Parc de Princes.

PSG will now press ahead with activating Neymar's astronomical €222m release clause in his Barcelona contract, though question marks remain over how it will go about funding his transfer fee.

Speculation over a move to the Ligue 1 giants has increased exponentially over the past week as media reports across Europe hit that Neymar's time at Barca could be drawing to a close.

​Le Parisien claimed that Neymar had already told his La Blaugrana teammates that he wanted to leave the Nou Camp to complete a lucrative switch to France this summer.

This year, N-Power is recruiting an additional 300,000 to bring the total number to 500,000. The application has been seen well over 2.45 million applicants. The Acting President, while extending the two-week grace period assured that the selection process for the second batch will match as it will be characterized by transparency.

The hallmark of the N-Power process, as indeed all other national social investment prgrammes, has been run to be devoid of manipulation and undue influence to reach the common Nigerians who really need help.

Prof. Osinbajo also activated the delivery process for the N-Power Devices. The administration is using technology to drive the capacity building and skills development needs of the N-Power. Effective large-scale training for 500,000 young Nigerians would have been impossible without technology.

With the devices, the Federal Government is providing training on three (3) fronts. These are first to build capacity to undertake primary assignment, secondly to build capacity to make young people employable and thirdly to build capacity around skills to prepare them for more economic endeavors.

Also working with the Bank of Industry, the Federal Government has been able to stimulate demand for tablets and content produced by Nigerian Companies.

A man who could be referred to as the 'most fruitful man in Africa' with 176 children, Mustafa Magambo Mutone, has cried out to the government for financial support.

The Ugandan, who is 65 years old is a proud father of 176 children, 90 grandchildren. He has 13 wives and 10 girlfriends.

New Vision reports that Mustafa, who is expecting more children, is seeking government's help in order to train some of his 176 children.

“I have tried to feed my 13 wives and over 170 children and it is not easy. I request the government to at least sponsor 30 of my children in secondary schools and tertiary institutions,” Mustafa, a businessman and a resident of Kyaterekera trading centre in Kagadi district, said.

In a bid to cut down expenses and even make more money while at it, Mustafa who has over 40 children in primary school, is planning to establish his own nursery and primary school.

He also said he has about 10 children in the universities (Makerere, Mbarara and Kyambogo), most of them on private sponsorship.

Mustafa has five pairs of twins among his children. His number of children will hit 180 towards the end of the year when six of his wives who are pregnant, deliver.

In a recent interview, Mustafa explained that he is still willing and intending to marry more wives who will bear him more children. This he does instead of smoking and drinking.

"Two of my wives who gave birth to twins are in Kampala and Isingiro, working as midwives, while another two — Haniffer Kabasomi and Jane Tuhaise — work as nurses. My youngest wife is 25, and the eldest is 50, but I had about 10 girlfriends before I married officially and they all delivered the same year,” Mustafa said.

According to him, his first born child is 49 years old, while the youngest are four-year-old twins. He further noted that he has over 90 grandchildren and he has a special book where he records every child born whether within the country or outside, because he has some wives in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi.

He said one of the challenges he faces is the long distance as some of his women live in different parts of the country. ‘’I receive about 10 calls every day from different wives who want attention but I cannot be everywhere. I have seven wives in Kagadi alone. I do not have any challenge of supporting them because some of them support themselves since they work,” Mustafa said.

Security agencies in Bayelsa state seem to have identified the gun supplier of alleged notorious billionaire kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike, aka Evans.

Evans, who has been making useful confessions since his arrest had named one Suoyo as one of the active members of his gang, who was tasked with buying arms and ammunition, for their operations, The Nation reports. He said: “When Suoyo, who lives in Bayels State, called me and expressed fears, I also assured him that nothing was going to happen. I told him I was making plans for another operation and needed him to go into the creeks and buy a new set of arms and ammunition.”

Following Evan’s confession, security commanders in a meeting in Bayelsa state over the weekend were said to be certain that the Suoyo mentioned by Evans was a suspect, Suoyo Dickson, recently arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the state in connection with an attack on a pipeline belonging to the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC).

The suspect, who is popularly known as Hustler, had reportedly led a gang of vandals that attacked the Agip pipeline at Lagosgbene, Southern Ijaw local government area of the state on May 30, 2017.

He was however, caught on June 16, 2017 at Agbigiba community in Southern Ijaw. Suoyo told security agencies that he had some criminal camps in the creeks. Emmyloaded.com.ng learnt that he was then handed over to the Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe (ODS) for further investigations.

A security source said the security commander comprising of the of ODS, the police and NSCDC agreed that Suoyo should be subjected to further investigations.

The source said the security heads believed the suspect was responsible for the theft of service rifles of security operatives especially policemen in the state.

"The security heads also agreed to compile a list of such stolen arms and ammunition in the state and send it to the Force Headquarters to know whether they were among the ones recovered from Evans.

“The Suoyo mentioned by Evans seems in all ramifications to be the same suspected arrested by the NSCDC recently in connection with attack on a pipeline. The security heads in the state believe so and they will surely carry out further investigations to determine his linkage with the Evans’ gang," the source said.

Meanwhile, a senior police officer whose name has been concealed to protect him from prosecution, has said that Evans was arrested in Imo state, but regained freedom afterwards.

He told newsmen that Evans was arrested in 2006, after his gang of robbers attacked a commercial bank in Lagos.

According to the source which spoke to The Punch, the robbers went somewhere around the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu, to share the loot.
While sharing the loot, the robbers had a disagreement and shot one another. Seven members of the gang died instantly. The then Divisional Police Officer of Iponri Police Station, Yahaya Bello, now a deputy commissioner of police, was in the know of the incident, the sources claimed.

According to the Senior officer, it was confirmed that one of the members of the gang arrested then was Chukwudi Onuamadike, popularly known as Evans.

Plans are underway by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to establish Migration Institution for West African Countries. The Comptroller General of the Service, Mohammed Babandede , who disclosed this, weekend, in Abuja during a meeting with the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, NUC.

Prof Abubakar Rasheed, said it is partnering with the commission to establish the institute which will be situated in Tuga ,Kebbi State, adding that it will be affiliated to universities in Nigeria and few West African countries.

He said the service plans to develop the country’s intellectual capacity, adding, “ our idea to reform the NIS is with the support from the NUC on roadmap to start an institute. We are envisaging migration institution for West African countries. Nigeria immigration is committed to tackling the challenges of Migration management in west Africa.

The Igbo socio-political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has insisted that Arewa youths are determined to drag Nigeria into another civil war.

Ohanaeze made the remark while reacting to a letter written to Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo by a coalition of Northern youths.

In the letter, the youths had appealed to the Acting President to allow Igbos actualise their struggle for Biafra Republic because they hated Nigeria.

Reacting through its Deputy Publicity Secretary, Chuks Ibegbu, Ohanaeze said the North could not drive Ndigbo out of Nigeria.

The body said Ohanaeze was interested in restructuring and not secession.

Ibegbu said the northern youths had no right to speak for the Igbos.

He said, “In the first place, I want to thank the Acting President for the role he is playing in this situation. He is a peacemaker and he has shown himself to be conversant with the dynamics of leadership.

“The Acting President has told all the parties to allow peace to reign. Igbo are peaceful people; so, we will abide by what he said.

“We are conscious of what the Acting President told the Igbo leaders and the traditional rulers when they visited the Presidential Villa. Therefore, we will not be drawn into taking issue with these northern youths; they are people who have shown themselves to be lawbreakers and warmongers.

“The activities of these Arewa youths have shown that there is more than meets the eye to the ultimatum they gave the Igbo in the North. They simply want to drag the country into another war.”

Ibegbu maintained that the agitation for secession was not peculiar to the Igbo, as claimed by the Arewa youths.

He added, “That some individuals are pushing for self-determination in the South-East does not mean that the Igbo want to secede. The real situation is a protest against marginalisation.

“We should not forget that even now, as we speak, the Boko Haram sect is still canvassing Islamic rule in the North, using violent means – that is a form of agitation for secession.

“So why should the northern youths ignore the log in their eyes to bother about the speck in another person’s eyes; why the venom against the Igbo?”

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Wednesday announced the blacklisting of 72 of the 600 Computer Based Test (CBT) centres used for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across the country.

JAMB’s registrar, Is-haq Oloyede, said the blacklisting of some of the centres was due to their alleged involvement in extortion and “organised examination malpractice” during the UTME.

A few others are technically deficient, the examination body said.

Mr. Oloyede said the decision was taken at the end of an enlarged meeting with external examiners and other stakeholders in the conduct of the examination.

On Thursday, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) commended JAMB for the action.

The President of the union, Biodun Ogunyemi, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos that the owners of the blacklisted centres should also be prosecuted.

The ASUU boss said the development was a step in the right direction, describing it as “ the way to go.’’

“The leadership of the board should go a step forward by prosecuting owners of the affected centre in order to serve as a deterrent to others.This measure will further ensure that the integrity of the examination cannot be undermined.”

He added that JAMB should also strive to do thorough checks on centres and their owners before engaging them for the conduct of the UTME to avoid a re-occurrence.

EMMY LOADED has now obtained a full list of the affected centres in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

A review of the list shows that while 38 of them were outrightly delisted for misconducts and gross technical deficiencies, 24 of them were suspended for one year for technical deficiencies.

Further analysis shows that 13 centres were blacklisted in Abia State, 10 in Rivers, nine in Anambra, six in Akwa Ibom, six in Delta, and six in Imo.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said that it was not prosecuting the President of the Senate Bukola Saraki in the recently concluded false declaration of assets case.

In a series of tweets on its Twitter handle @officialEFCC, the anti-corruption agency made it clear to Nigerians that it was not the prosecutor at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) trial.

The EFCC also disowned counsel, Rotimi Jacobs, saying that he is an independent anti-corruption lawyer to the state and could be counsel to any organization.

During the two years trial of Saraki, Rotimi Jacobs was always referred to as counsel to the EFCC, but the EFCC clarifies that he is not attached to the commission.

Meanwhile, the clarification of the EFCC has generated many reactions: While some Nigerians hailed the commission, others bashed it for losing many of its cases.

They called on the EFCC to deliver high profile convictions not just recovery of loot or forfeiture of money and assets.

The President of the Senate Bukola Saraki was on Wednesday, discharged and acquitted of all 18 count charges blithering on the declaration of assets brought against him in the CCT.
