Onyezaza: You have to be determined and ready to work hard, aim 290 above in your utme(is very possible) and 75 above in post ume. You must be discipline, make a study timetable for yourself and cover what is necessary, study your past questions very well if you need to attend tutorial please do. You should know your stand by now for Jamb,like wat u are expecting as yur utme aggrt. nxt yr.U shuld be ready to cover syllabus n aim 260+ and for d post jamb i guess u already knw itz Maths,English n General paper.



On d other side,UNN,Uniport,Unizik, n some other eastern Uni's are okay for an Abia aspirant.

For example, 260/8 + 82/2 =73.5

promisechild: I can't advice an easterner to choose unilag because the chances of him or her getting admission is slim but it is very much possible for you to get admission there if u can score high in utme and postume

iei is nt new, it's been there 4 lng, just dat u people dnt notice it, becos of 1st n 2nd choice. Lolz. Iei is almst like a polytechnic. 4 example parallel studies in iei is d same as mass comm in poly and so on

Got admission this year in Uniben for Medicine and I must confess it's good to read but it's very good to have a God that you can pray too to work out things in your favour. Because a time would come when you might ask yourself is my reading enough, you need someone who you can put your trust and confidence in and that someone is only Jesus.

Idrismusty97: When we were filling the form they is no option for 2nd choice of the same university. Instead the 2nd choice is a polytechnic,so it is impossible to even make mistake. But i saw 2nd choices filled in schools like unilorin,futminna and uniben mostly in courses that are above hundred candidates.

u can choise uni as ur first, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th. Then poly as first, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th. And so on. But d total number of choice is 1 uni, 1 poly, 1 coc and ieis

most of d courses offered there are very very related to poly's. Examples: comp eng. Networking/system security(same as in elect elect in poly). Tele tech, petro geo-sciences, education, film/tv prod, building const, music, parallel studies(same as mass comm in polys), comp studies(same as comp science in poly), agriculture(agric tech in poly), bank operations. Now make ur choice

Olarewajub: Someone should please help me with a list of varsities in Nigeria that offer Medical Laboratory Science apart from Unical, UNN and Uniben.

From the look of things, it seems you are weighing your chance in various institution. The statistics of the two schools you mentioned (Unilag and UI) would be made visible to you below, although it wont be limited to the coursed you earlier requested, some others medical course would be included.
