That u live close to d school doesn't mean u ve to go home so often. If u stay in d school hostel, jst make sure u go home, take d things u nid to sustain ursef 4 a while and go back 2 ur hostel. Then in case u dnt ve a bank acct, make sure u open one so dat in case u nid money, u MAY not necessarily nid to go home 4 it. It may still not be as interesting as schooling far frm home tho, but what is ur priority? Is it to study ur preferred course now dat u ve d opportunity or u wanna throw away d opportunity and start gambling if anoda school far away wil admit u. Either home is far or not, ur priority shud be dat u ve admission and u're taking it. Then u can thing of d strategy u wil adopt to make sure school lyf is interesting to u.

I stay in Lagos. I am an ex-predegree student of LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. I had 240 in JAMB, 382/500 in the PDS final exams and 68% in the Post-Utme. Even as I reply you, I haven't gotten an admission Status. Am so confused and distraught. I applied for Medicine and Surgery. Due to my ambivalence I am not willing to take chances with the above named school so am following the saying: "To every plan A is a plan B"...What if the admission status comes around and I am offered Physiology or Anatomy which I am not interested in. The ambition of becoming a Professor of General Surgery doesn't follow either of those paths.

I don't know how things are done in the 3 schools I listed above (of which I am interested in picking one for Next Year's UTME). That's why I asked the question in the first instance.

I am getting ready come JAMB '15, if LAUTECH faulters good for me and bad for them...they don't get to have me as an Alumnus.

Nevertheless, taking UTME '15 is a contingency plan.

Post Scriptum: Dad is from Ondo State, Nigeria and Mum is from The Republic of Benin.

i want to place my application to study medicine in "the university of port harcourt" but there's this one problem.
1. My house is not so far from the school, just about #150-200 to my house.
2. I might be going from home.
Please, i believe schooling is better of afar from home.
I won't like to be coming home constantly even though i live in hostel.
I would love the joy of coming home once in a while and getting missed.
Please can i still stay unavailable even though its not far?
Would i still enjoy the joy of being in school?
Or am i really getting it wronged?
Pls help me.
About choosing another school, it would be so difficult, but should i risk it?

I went to another church today that is not my church..am actually a catholic..but i Travelled to ilorin and there is no Catholic church near my area(the one that is there is about 40km drive).
Oh,am not mobile anyway.
I had to follow my friends to one church like that(can't Remember the Name).
The church is very small with Small members...imagine,a church that pastor noticed that am new(Unlike catholic where nobody no even send you).
The pastor prayed for me and told the members to shake me.:-)..mehn! All eyes was on me,i felt like a Celebrity.
