*TOPIC: BALANCE THE SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL SIDES OF WEALTH*
Matthew 23:23

*There are two sides to righteous Kingdom wealth: the spiritual and the natural.* Every Christian that wants to succeed financially must work both sides equally well.

*On the spiritual side, you find:*

*1. Seed and sowing;*

*2. The anointing; and*

*3. The Holy Spirit:* The Holy Spirit is the highest form of wealth. If you build a positive relationship with the Holy Spirit, He will begin to guide you and direct you to the things that are peculiar to you for you to get wealthy.

*On the physical side, you find:*

*1. The best natural wisdom:* This will come either from your study or when you employ somebody. However, good books that cut the Holy Spirit out of your wealth strategy will get you into trouble. Once the Holy Ghost has led you into where God has reserved wealth for you, then make use of all the information available in your generation.

*2. Good relationships:* Build good relationships because positive relationships will enhance your future financially, spiritually, and in every other way.

*3. Work! Work!! Work!!!* Don’t be lazy because the hand of the diligent will always bear the rule (Pro. 12:24).

*4. Establish a savings scheme:* The spirit of poverty works with how much you spend, while the spirit of prosperity works with how much you save. When you spend without saving money daily, the spirit of poverty is already ahead in your affairs. To break that yoke, you must save as you spend, either by changing how you spend or how you save.

_*PRAYER:* Lord, deliver me from every habit and practice that empowers the spirit of poverty in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: UPGRADE YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE TO ACCESS GOD’S PROVISION*
Job 32:8; Proverbs 18:14

*Upgrading your spiritual life enables the Holy Spirit to flow more easily in your life. God doesn’t want you to become the kind of businessman or woman with a weak spiritual life.* Business people without a solid walk with the Lord become easy prey to the devil. The world is busy and getting busier by the day. One of the devil’s attacks against your spiritual life is to make you neglect your spirit man. If you fall for this trap, you may be cheap prey to the devil.

*Six things you must deal with to upgrade your spiritual life are:*

*1. Your church life.* The Church is the hub of God’s operation on the earth. Don’t despise the gathering of ourselves together (Heb. 10:25).

*2. Prayer life.* This must be beyond what you do in church with other believers.

*3. Bible study life.* Study to show yourself approved unto God even if you’re in business.

*4. Worship life.*

*5. Service life.* Serve faithfully in the church as unto God.

*6. Your witness life.* Share the Gospel. Preach the Gospel to somebody daily.

*The above components will feed a powerful, solid, and sound spiritual life. A strong spirit puts you ahead of whatever the enemy throws at you.* Your spirit man is where you receive inspiration and direction on what business to do and which associations to keep or end. The Holy Spirit will show you which staff you should release from your business, so they don’t become a snare to you.

*TOPIC: FOUR COUNSELS FOR KINGDOM WEALTH*
Proverbs 9:8-12

*1. Increase your income*
Two ways to increase your income are to get more jobs or increase the streams of income flow into your life. When God’s increase begins, don’t spend your increase. Use your increase to clear your debt because existing debt will function like a leaking hole that will not let you plan. Don’t buy anything on credit, but if you really have to, let it be something tangible that will generate income later.

*2. Don’t be an executive in your approach to finances*
Beware of an executive mindset. Receiving an official car at work shouldn’t make you assume that you have a car. Don’t take a loan to keep up an executive appearance. To be genuinely wealthy, you need to be an entrepreneur. Don’t fall prey to salespeople who say, “Buy it now and pay at the end of the month”. They will sabotage your financial plan and invite the spirit of debt.

*3. Reduce your spending*
When you are coming out of debt, first STOP ALL SPENDING. After you have cleared the debt, then reduce your spending also. Practise the law of accumulation little by little until you get there.

*4. Prosper at your level*
Your greatest problem starts when you are trying to prosper at another person’s level. There is a time when you shouldn’t feel embarrassed wearing fairly-used clothing or accepting fairly-used furniture from good relatives that you can vouch for their spiritual leanings. Find your financial level and prosper there.

_*PRAYER:* Lord, deliver me from a heart of folly leading me to poverty and the spirit of debt in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: SCRIPTURAL OFFERINGS (3)*
Luke 6:38

Still looking at scriptural offerings, we’ll see the last type I’ll be talking about today.

*7) First Fruits (Gen. 4:4; Pro. 3:9-10)*
This is the first earning of a child of God. It expresses your acknowledgement of God as your Source, Owner, Provider, and Leader, regarding the material side of your earthly walk. Many times, people are confused about this particular offering. However, we don’t have to be confused if we stay in the Bible.

You don’t pay your tithe separately in the month that you pay your first fruit. Everything you earn that month is your first fruit and it is to register your entry into God’s covenant as the Provider of His people.

*The Stages of First Fruits:*

*a) The first time you start working, you are to present your first salary as your first fruit.* Your tithe is already included in the first fruit; so, you don’t pay tithe for that month.

*b) Every time you get a raise, the increase is your first fruit on the new scale.* Then, you pay the tithe on your old salary that month. This first fruit establishes you in His grace on that new level.

People have asked me a lot of questions about this particular offering. One central question is, ‘Should people pay their January salary as a first fruit every year?’ I have not found any scripture to support this. I have only seen the two stages above.

*To whom does it belong?*
In the Old Testament, God gave the first fruits to the high priest’s office, among other offerings. Today, each ministry has to go to the Holy Spirit, the – Director of God’s work on earth, to know what to do with the first fruit.

_*PRAYER:* Father, I receive grace for complete obedience to honour You with capital and sufficiency from my righteous labours and with the first fruits of all my income in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: SCRIPTURAL OFFERINGS (2)*
Luke 6:38

Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday.

*4) Tithes (Heb. 7:1-10)*
This is the first tenth of your income. Many miss it here. It is not just any tenth; it is the first tenth. It is taken from the net, not the gross.

*5) Vows (Eccl. 5:1-5; Act. 18:18)*
This is a little bit like a sacrifice but different in a significant way. While a sacrifice originates from God, a vow originates from a man. Both carry heavy demands on a man. The scripture is full of examples of vows made by men in different situations.

_In fact, a vow is so sacred that God warns His people not to rush into making such (Eccl. 5). Don’t rush to make pledges when funds are being raised in the church._

*6) Freewill Offerings (Luke 21:1-4)*
These are offerings in the class of our Sunday Service Thanksgiving Offerings. Whereas the tithe is specified, the freewill offering is not. Whereas the tithe is not accepted based on the giver’s mood, God says He loves a cheerful giver for freewill offerings.

Tomorrow, we will look at the seventh offering, the First Fruits. However, in addition to the previous six, I believe there is an eighth offering. The other seven offerings are specified, but the Holy Spirit, being the One in charge of the Church on earth today, leads us in any other offering that is in the will of God for us. This is what I refer to as Holy Ghost-led giving.

_*PRAYER:* Father, help me to give acceptably as a communication of my worship to You. I receive a heightened sensitivity; to the leading of the Holy Spirit to be accurate in my giving in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: APPLYING THE TRUTH OF SEEDTIME AND GIVING BIBLICALLY (3)*
Genesis 8:22; 2 Kings 4:8-17

Today, I want us to look at two more steps you must master to apply the truth of seedtime fruitfully.

*For the third step, you must provoke the blessing by*:
(a) Recognising the carrier;
(b) Receiving his or her words into your heart; and
(c) Sowing your seed into his life or work.

*The fourth and final step is that you must recognise your time to sow*. Notice what the Bible says in Genesis 8:22: it is about “seedtime not harvest time”. This is critically significant. Don’t miss your opportunity to sow.

The great woman of Shunem in 2 Kings 4 saw her opportunity and grabbed it. *The blessing, not her money, cancelled the curse for her.* She had money but lacked the blessing (in the form of the anointing). Abraham also had the promise but needed the blessing. He also saw his seedtime linked to Melchizedek’s appearance.

God gave man the seed to provoke the blessing. So, you must study what constitutes the seed, the blessing, and the harvest. *Everyone needs to meet the carrier or carriers of his/her blessing and sow seeds*.

People mostly give downwards but if you will receive the blessing, you need to give upwards. *God brings those in need across the paths of those carrying the blessing and opens their eyes to see. Lack of revelation of the carrier leads to missed opportunities and missed seed times. To be blessed, you need to give upwards not downwards.*

_*PRAYER*: Father, I thank You for showing me these steps. Open my eyes and help me to recognise my seedtimes when they show up in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: SCRIPTURAL OFFERINGS (1)*
Luke 6:38

Today, we will begin to examine the different offerings in the scripture. *There cannot be any real act of worship without offerings, whether you are serving the true God or a false god.* That is why we must study the types of offerings God Himself stipulated in the worship procedure He gave His people.

*1) Burnt Offerings (Deut. 12:5-6)*
The key issue in the scripture here is the aroma of the roasted offering that ascended In Philippians 4, we see that *burnt offerings now translate to partnership contributions to a ministry on soul-winning projects from God.* God does not eat flesh nor does He drink blood.

*2) Sacrifices (Gen. 22:1-2; Eph. 5:1-2)*
Sacrifice is not an everyday affair because it involves life. *These are once-in-a-long-while demands of God on His people or individuals.* For instance, Abraham was asked to sacrifice Isaac. That did not happen again.

*Sacrifice is not free will; it is demanded by God.* I consider the harvest of a sacrifice higher than that of a freewill offering. God sacrificed His son (Joh. 3:16). Also, some are called into full-time ministry and required to sacrifice more than others.

*3) Heave Offerings (Gen. 18:1; 1 Sam. 9:7)*
This is synonymous with Abraham meeting the visitors from heaven in Genesis 18. Saul and his servant’s plan on what to give Samuel when they met him also fall into this category (1 Sam. 9:7). *This is what many today refer to as PROPHET OFFERINGS. However, I believe it is more than that; I believe it will include all acts you do as you come across the path of the carriers of the blessing.*

*TOPIC: RECOGNISE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DONATION AND A SEED*
Matthew 26:6-11 (TLB)

*You must learn this truth about giving. A donation does not carry the same impact as a seed.* When you give to the secular or the not-anointed, it is a donation. *However, when you give to the spiritual or the anointed, it is a seed.*

Christians must make this distinction clearly, especially in these last days when there is so much misconception about the assignment and the purpose of the Church. *The devil wants to seduce the Church to leave the spiritual assignment of soul-winning and Kingdom expansion and be lost in social work only.*

If we do not build schools, orphanages, etc., there are enough secular organisations to do these noble jobs. However, *if the Church does not hold crusades, preach on the television, or build churches, which government has a budgetary allocation for these must-do commands of the Master?*

The fact that churches are wealthy is no reason for the Body of Christ to spend God’s money on matters that do not directly bring souls into the Kingdom of God.

What do you think He would do if Jesus came into the world again?
– Build a church or an orphanage?
– Hold a crusade or establish a microfinance bank?

*Whenever the Church begins to lose spiritual focus, it gets involved in social work at the expense of the assignment of winning the lost.*

When the Bible says we should help the poor, what type of poor do you think God was talking about – the poor in the Church or the poor who are not interested in the Gospel?

_*PRAYER:* Father, help me to master the difference between seed and donation so I do not fall for the deception of replacing my seed with a donation in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: APPLYING THE TRUTH OF SEEDTIME AND GIVING BIBLICALLY (2)*
Genesis 14:18-23; Proverbs 10:22; 1 Kings 17:7-24

*The second step to applying the truth of seedtime fruitfully is that you must recognise and be on the hunt for the carrier(s) of the Blessing.* Abraham had a clear revelation of the difference between the king of Sodom (who brought a contract) and Melchizedek (who brought the covenant). This is your greatest revelation for increase and enlargement.

*Let me give you some additional examples of this step:*
1. Joseph was carrying a promise but needed the blessing to actualise his promise; he needed what his father had – Gen. 48 and 49.
2. Abraham needed what Melchizedek carried – Heb. 7.
3. Peter needed what Jesus had – Luke 5:2-7.

Now that you know this, you must also recognise that *there are three major forces for increase and fulfilment on earth from God:*
1. God’s Promise or Calling – Deut. 6:1-3; Heb. 7:1-7.
2. The Seed – Heb. 7:1-7.
3. The Blessing – Pro. 10:22; Heb. 7:1-7

*Your pursuit and goal should be to use your seed to provoke the blessing on your promise.* Here is one more counsel: *_just like a curse, the blessing does not just come on you; you provoke it!_* It is in this step two that you discover the importance of step one (recognising the two types of giving).

*Don’t confuse a man suffering for laziness and violation of God’s principles with a man who is carrying the blessing you need.* God commands us to help those who can’t help themselves, not those who won’t help themselves!

_*PRAYER:* Father, open my eyes to see and recognise carriers of the blessing I need on my path in destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: APPLYING THE TRUTH OF SEEDTIME AND GIVING BIBLICALLY (1)*
Ephesians 4:28; Luke 6:38; Philippians 4:15-20

Over the next few days, we will look at how to apply the truth of seedtime correctly. To do this, you must first recognise that *there are two major types of giving or two significant goals of giving.* I am talking of giving as sowing seeds.

*a. Giving to be a blessing*

*This is giving downwards or mercy-giving.* Offerings such as alms, acts of mercy, and giving to those in need fall under this category. This type of giving depends on your emotion of mercy and it’s giving to those in need to release God’s mercy. You cannot express mercy unless you have faith. *You can’t express the blessing unless you are blessed. You must first be blessed before you can be a blessing.*

*b. Giving to be blessed*

*This giving is the type I call “giving upwards”.* This is faith-giving and it depends on revelation and faith. *This is the key type of giving for anyone that wants to tap into the fullness of the seed-harvest truth.* It refers to giving to those carrying the blessing you need – in order to turn your divine promise(s) into reality.

*Giving to be a blessing is the giving that becomes the answer to the receiver’s prayer while the second type of giving is an answer to the giver’s prayer and faith.*

_*PRAYER:* Father, I thank You for the power You have given me to get wealth. Open my eyes to see when and where I have to give to be a blessing and when and where I have to give to be blessed in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 8:1-3

Yesterday, we started looking at biblical facts on giving. We shall look further into it today.

*11. God does not rate you on how much you have but on how much you have left!*

*12. In the Kingdom, the giver is superior to the receiver.*

*13. Giving is what sets receiving in motion.* That is why Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive (Act. 20:35)”.

*14. It would be best to rate your giving on what it cost you*. A man who has N10,000 and gives N 2,000 has given more than the one who has N 100,000 but gives N 5,000.

*15. God rates you on what you can do, not what you want to do.* The man who gives based on what he can do is greater than the one who gives based on what he wants to do.

*16. God rates you on the widow’s mite scale* (Mar. 12:41-44). Do you give out of your abundance or out of your poverty? It takes more faith to give out of your poverty than out of your abundance.

*17. You have to give out of your poverty to get out of it into abundance.*

*18. You always have to give your way out of any level into a higher level.*

*19. Whatever you can give in obedience to God shows what you are bigger than.* What you cannot give when God asks is bigger than you.

*20. What you can give cannot be used by Satan to tempt you or seduce you from God.*

*21. Our offering is an expression of our heart to God and people.*

*PRAYER:* Father, I receive grace to be willing and obedient to carry out my financial instructions in Jesus’ name. Amen!

John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 8:1-3

2 Corinthians 8:1-3
_1 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;_
_2 How that in a great trial of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality._
_3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power, they were willing of themselves;_

*1. Giving is God’s nature.*
John 3: 16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

*2. Giving activates the love nature of God shed abroad in our hearts.*
Romans 5:5 says, “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

*3. Our generous giving moves God.*
Abraham moved God (Gen. 22:1-18), Solomon moved God (1 Kin. 3:3-14), and Paul moved God (Phi. 3:4-17), and they all did through their giving.

*4. God responds to your attitude and motivation for giving.*

*5. God calls for EQUAL SACRIFICE, not EQUAL GIVING.* The widow’s mite was a greater sacrifice (Mar. 12:41-44).

*6. God also responds to gifts.* God cares about what you give, not only why you give.

*7. God rejects it when a man gives less than He tells him to, but you cannot over-give to God.*

*8. When your giving moves a man of God, it will also touch God.*

*9. When your giving does not move you, it can’t move anything for you.*

*10. What you can give, you have mastered.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, You willingly gave Your best to us in Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me reciprocate the same to my world in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: ACCESSING THE GIFT AND GRACE OF A MAN OF GOD*
2 Kings 3:9-20

*When you want to access the gift and grace of God upon His servant, your seed could serve as a bridge.* Some time ago, my wife and I were guest speakers at a friend’s Convention and we arrived early to listen to another speaker. This man had a special operation of the Holy Spirit in his life towards people’s dreams and peculiar in deliverance for the oppressed. After this meeting, my wife told me she perceived a leading to sow a set of my teaching tapes into the life of this man of God. I told her to go ahead and she did. It was on a Saturday that my wife sowed the seed.

On Sunday morning, as she was getting ready for church service, she suddenly started receiving words of knowledge from the Holy Spirit about people’s dreams, precisely as we saw in the life of the man of God on Saturday. Alarmed, she ran to me to share with me. I went to God in prayer over it and God told me that “It is of Me. *When your wife gave the man of God the gift and he received it, the gift created a bridge between her and the grace the man carried, and the grace flowed into her life.”*

A word of caution here: the converse will also be true. Your gift creates a supernatural bridge in the spirit for you. *If you give emotionally to those operating witchcraft and occultism, they can use your gift as a bridge to attack your finances. Give such seeds to only men/women of God with proven ministries.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to recognise and to access the gift of God upon my man of God through sonship, service, and seed in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (7)*
Genesis 28:20-22; Acts 4:34-37

Let’s see more instances to sow as we get close to concluding on how to recognise your seedtime.

*31. When you ‘sense’ unusual anointing in an environment (a church, a meeting, or a person), sow a seed immediately.* The anointing tells you where God is NOW and prophecy tells you where God is going next.

*32. Whenever a building project of a house of God is in progress,* that is your wealth time; be part of it with your seed.

*33. In Luke 16:1-10, Jesus instructs us to use our money to make friends for the Kingdom when there is a crusade or a soul-winning project.* The only way to do this is to reconcile men to God through soul-winning projects and programmes.

*34. When guest speakers come to your local church,* pastors should encourage their members to sow special seeds into the lives of guest speakers apart from the honorarium the Church plans to give them. This is the direct way to tap into and share in a prophet’s rewards.

*35. When you need to move demonic obstacles out of your way in the spirit,* your seed could be an anchor.

*36. When your church or ministry is assigned to reach a wider audience through specific ministry tools like radio, television, etc.,* be a partner to partake of the reward of that obedience.

*37. When you need to stop a plague or a generational curse in your life.* In 2 Samuel 23:1-5, David stopped a plague through an offering.

*38. When you need to create a pathway for your spiritual giftings to be noticed,* you use physical giving to make that way.

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to be a banker for You, to sponsor the outpouring of Your word in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (6)*
Proverbs 18:16

*We continue today on the subject of recognising seedtime by considering more points below*:

27. *When STRANGERS come to your door and your SPIRIT MOVES you to do it*. Hebrews 13:2 says, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”

28. *When you need to access the presence and wisdom of the great, nothing works like a seed to open the well of wisdom in a great man to you*. Never let an opportunity with the great go by you without sowing a seed.

*Do acts of kindness to great people and it will open doors to their presence and wisdom*. *Become a financial partner with genuine and great men of God and see what can happen*.

29. *To open an account of GIVING and RECEIVING with Heaven*. Stingy people don’t receive much from Heaven. Many ask God to give them amounts of money that are not up to what they have invested in the Kingdom through their seeds.

30. *To activate the law of sowing and reaping. The ruling law on the earth is the law of sowing and reaping*. The simple truth is this: sowing your seed is what kicks this law into motion! Wrap your life in the cycle of this great law and you will experience heaven upon earth.
*Amos 9:13* *“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt*.
*This is the cycle of abundance*!”

*PRAYER*: Lord, I receive supernatural financial life as I obey Your word. Let there be a cycle of abundance in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (5)*
Luke 5:1-3

Here are more scriptural instances of recognising and weaponising your seed.

*22. When a man of God you know and trust specifically asks you to do so.* Many times, God tells us our seedtime through His servants. Elijah said, “Make me thereof a little cake first (1 Kin. 17:13).” God instructed Moses to call for a special offering from the people (Exo. 35:1-21) and Jesus asked Peter for his boat to teach from (Lu. 5:1-3).

*23. One of my most extraordinary seedtimes was communicated to me in a dream where I saw a particular man of God asking me to give his ministry a specific amount.* On enquiring from God, He told me He was calling our ministry to sow that amount to that ministry. What great harvest came our way through such encounters!

God communicates to us in the language of dreams and visions. Be sensitive when you see yourself giving in a dream.

*24. When you notice a need in the work of God, the life of a child of God, a man of God, or the house of God,* such is one of the ways the Holy Spirit leads you into special seedtimes.

*25. When your wife moves you to do it.* God often talks to unbelievers, good men, or young convert men through their saved wives. An example is the wife of Pontius Pilate – Mat. 27:18-19

*26. When your child moves you to give.* God used the little boy’s lunch to feed five thousand – Joh. 6:8-12.

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me not to hold back on divine promptings to sow to my man of God, house of God, or work of God in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (4)*
Haggai 1:3-5; Philippians 4:19; Romans 12:8

We are still dealing with the critical scriptural truth of recognising your seedtime. Follow me into the scripture again today.

*15. When you want to express your love to God, give.* Love gives! Your giving is a photograph of your love for the person you give to. You cannot love God without giving to Him.

*16. When you have something to thank God for,* maybe a baby, promotion, etc., practise adding giving and sowing seeds to your thanksgiving.

Thank God not just with the mouth, sharing testimony, and dancing, but with thanksgiving offerings!

*17. In Malachi 3:8-10, note that God speaks of tithes and offerings here.* When you collect your salary, it’s also a time to give your tithe, offering, or any special seed. Special seed is one of the eight offerings mentioned in the Bible.

*18. Every time you hear of a project in your local church, it is seedtime.* This is especially important for those who function in the office of givers- Rom. 12:8.

*19. When you celebrate.* Your times of celebrations are very special times to sow special seeds.

*20. When you are down or sorrowing.* When you feel like you want to end it all, find someone else to do some good for and see how fast you will get out of sorrow. Interestingly, sowing seeds is one of the strongest weapons to break the yoke of sorrow, but many don’t know or don’t care to do it at such times.

*21. When it “occurs” to you to do something good for another.* Note that Satan will never tell you to give or do good to another.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive revelation and understanding of my wealth ladders in Zion in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (3)*
Galatians 6:6; 1 Corinthian 9:11-14

I believe you are beginning to understand through the scriptures why timing is essential to your seed life. Today, we will take the subject of recognising seedtime some steps further.

*10. When you are awaiting your dream to be fulfilled, it is seedtime.* In Genesis 41:14-38, Joseph worked on the dream of others and God brought his own to pass.

*11. When you are blessed by a teaching or ministration anywhere –* in the church, a conference, or on the television. Yes, it is such time you sow your seed!

*12. When you visit or see a man of God.* Don’t ever visit a servant of God empty-handed, even when you go for counselling, except when you are sick and a servant of God is to pray for you. You don’t pay for healing or a solution from God but your seed is to honour God through His servants.

*13. Never eat your last; plant it in the anointing!* When you are down to your LAST, remember the widow of Zarephath. She was going to fetch wood, cook her last meal, eat, and die, but she obeyed the prophet of God and she and her household lived in abundance all through the famine period (1 Kin. 17:7-16).

*14. When you have been pastored well, sow into the anointing.* Every church should have an annual Pastors’ Appreciation Service to bless their shepherd properly. Christians and churches that take good care of their pastors always prosper and grow. The reverse is also true. Most poor congregations are full of people that are stingy towards their shepherds.

*PRAYER:* Lord, sensitise me to divine opportunities to sow critical seeds, especially unto those of the household of faith in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (2)*
Luke 5:1-6

Yesterday, we started to see how accuracy in time is a crucial trigger to the journey into Kingdom’s financial abundance. We will look at more points on when you are to sow your seed today.

*7. When you need to end a season of dryness in your life, a seed could make a difference.* In Luke 5:1-6, Simon and other fishermen had toiled all night and Jesus made an unusual request of their ship to teach afterwards. Jesus said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.” As he obeyed, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. Peter yielded his boat as a seed and God ended a season of dryness in his life.

8. In Genesis 27:2-4, Isaac was to release patriarchal blessing upon Esau. Isaac requested savoury meat such as he loved, that he may eat, so his soul might bless Esau.

*There is a strange truth about the blessing: you provoke it by the right acts. One of the most potent acts of triggering the blessing is a special seed.* When you need to provoke the blessing of a father as Jacob eventually did unto Isaac, sow a seed – Gen. 27:27-29.

*9. Whenever you meet a man of God. Don’t ever let a man of God leave your presence empty-handed.* The appearance of men of God in your life or across your path is always a manifestation of divine arrangements. They are times of special seeds. Never again miss the opportunity of sowing seeds to the men of God you meet.

*PRAYER:* Lord, let vain labour in my financial life end. I join my life to the experience of the return of the double boat (Luk. 5:7) in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RECOGNISING SEEDTIME (1)*
1 Samuel 1:11-17

*When you determine to work the Kingdom principle in your finances, you will need to be sensitive to the seasons of your life to sow your seeds with accuracy.*

*I will share the times to sow critical seeds extensively in the next few days.*

Follow me as we look into scriptural examples:

*1. When God blesses you, every blessing comes in the form of seed and bread.* Please, don’t eat it all! Learn to eat only the bread and sow the seed: Isa. 55:10.

*2. When you have a particular need, give what you have to get what you need.* In 1 Samuel 1:11, Hannah reached the point where her request coincided with what God was looking for and God answered her cry.

*3. God is the divine Turner when you want to turn hopeless situations around and the seed is the instrument for turning things around:* Psa. 126:1-6.

*4. When you want God to remember you, your seed comes before the Father as a memorial:* Act. 10:1-4; Psa. 20:1-3.

*5. When you are carrying a promise from God that is yet to happen in your life, it is your seed opportunity.* You use your seed to provoke the blessing upon your promise at such times. God arranges the path of the carrier of the promise to cross with that of the blesser. See Genesis 14:17-24.

*6. When you need supernatural direction from God,* you can weaponise your seed as Saul’s servant advised in 1 Samuel 9:5-10.

*PRAYER:* Holy Spirit, anoint my eyes to see seasons and moments to plant critical seeds in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*The law of sowing and reaping is one of the fundamental laws of God’s Kingdom. Since sowing is seasonal, God’s people must know WHEN to sow.*

*This month, I will cover some essential truths you must understand from the law of sowing and reaping.*

*I will summarise the fundamental truths that underscore this vital topic below:*

a. To everything, there is a time.
b. God has made everything beautiful in His time.
c. A man’s harvest in life is entirely dependent on his seeds.
d. If you don’t like the harvest you are getting in life, change the seeds you are sowing.
e. It is a reflexive law- what you put in is what you get.
f. If you want to increase the harvest, increase the seed.
g. To have a good harvest, planting the seed during the planting season is necessary.
h. Many people don’t have a good harvest because they miss their seedtime.
i. According to our text (Gen. 8:22), this law will continue to rule this earth until the new earth.
j. There is seedtime but not harvest time. This means that the seed is timed but not the harvest.
k. It means there can be many harvests to one seedtime.

*PRAYER:* Lord, show me when to plant my seed in life to experience a good harvest. I will recognise my seedtime in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: BECOMING FULLY PERSUADED*
Romans 4: 21-22; 1 Thessalonians 5:23

*You must become fully persuaded so as not to lose out in your walk with God. What does it mean to be fully persuaded? It means to bring your whole spirit, soul, and body into an agreement with God.* It is total persuasion of your entire personality and make-up that God’s promise will come to pass, being fully persuaded in spirit, soul, and body that what He has promised, He is able to perform. *Let your spirit, soul, and body come into agreement with God. Let your spirit accepts the word of God as final. Let your spirit accept the outcome as done already.*

*What God tells you or what His word reveals to you is what matters when it comes to becoming fully persuaded.* When God told the children of Israel that He would bring them out of Egypt and bring them into the Promised Land, He didn’t tell them they were going to meet giants on the road. He did not tell them they were going to fight battles. Why? It is because those things could not stop them. *I want you to take note of this: what God has not told you has no power to stop you. However, if the devil tells you and you agree with the devil, then you can stop yourself.*

*What God has not spoken to you doesn’t have the power to stop you from getting your miracle.* Since God did not tell them about the enemies and the giants, that means the giants were irrelevant. God didn’t tell Abraham about his body. So, the body of Abraham had nothing to do with the fulfilment of the promise that God had given him.

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to be fully persuaded of Your promise to me in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: THE HEARING THAT PRODUCES RESULTS (1)*

*The miracle you did not hear about, you cannot experience.* It is what you have heard that determines what you will receive. *All the devil needs to attack you is to make sure you do not hear or hear wrongly. There is a connection between what you hear and what you receive (Luke 5:15).*

*When was the last time you decided to do three hours of hearing and soaking in the word of God? Those that don’t hear from Him don’t get from Him.*

*There are Christians that will receive more from God if they will stop fasting and go to hear the word of the Lord over the issues they are fasting about.* Out of all the people that received their miracles in the Bible, how many of them fasted? I am not saying that you shouldn’t fast again, but that there are times that you need to hear what He is saying and has said. *If you will stop all your worry for seven days and soak yourself in the word of God clearly and precisely, that miracle you have been chasing will start running after you.*

*Running up and down will not solve the problem. Sit down and find out what God has said.* A preacher was told he had prostate cancer. He took all the tapes of faith he could access and went into a solitary place for 21 days to listen to the tapes. By the time he returned, he came back prostate cancer-free. *You will get more results from God if you can just settle down to hear.*

*PRAYER:* I receive strength to hear the word until it produces faith to deliver divine results in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*Don’t be among the group of people that come to encounter the miraculous but have not heard.* They did not hear to have an understanding, and it made it very difficult for them to receive. _There are people that came to me for prayers in the past that I didn’t pray for immediately. I told them to sit down and hear the word for some time and by the time they came for prayers, they were ready to receive. There are some that I didn’t have to pray for again._

*No matter what you are asking God to do, the initiating process is the hearing of faith. Some people might need to do an all-day hearing or all-night hearing of the word.* Anytime you need a miracle from God, go to your closet and start hearing what God has to say either through tape or reading the Bible aloud to yourself. Listen to it until you know something has entered you.

*The hearing of faith puts your destiny in your hands and not another. You are not ready to receive until you have heard.* The people in Luke 6:17 came to hear and be healed of their infirmities. So, everywhere Jesus healed the people, the initiating process was the HEARING OF FAITH. It is those that heard that came to be healed.

*Finally, you cannot hear it once and say you have heard it. You have to hear it over and over again. When you hear it again and again, it becomes a planting and a force that draws power into your life.*

*PRAYER:* Help me Lord to be involved in active hearing that produces divine results in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: THANKING GOD BEFORE THE ANSWER MANIFESTS (1)*
Romans 4:20

*This step is another very critical step to receiving your manifestation. Begin to give thanks to God before the answer manifests.* Abraham came into this revelation of giving thanks to God and discovered a means of strengthening his faith. *He became stronger in faith by giving glory to God, thanking God in advance without seeing the answer yet.* That is not a reasonable thing to do for a man in expectation. *However, don’t forget that it may not make human sense but it makes faith sense.*

*How can I thank God for a miracle when it is not yet done? That’s where faith comes in; that is FAITH SENSE. You must understand that God operates in the now.* There is nothing like yesterday, today, and tomorrow with God (Heb. 13:. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow deal with a man. *As far as God is concerned, yesterday is now, today is now, and tomorrow is now. So, if God says it is done, it is done.*

When God told Abraham, “I have made you the father of many nations (Rom. 4:17a)” God was talking to a man that physically speaking had no child, whose wife was barren. God said, “I have made you…” not “…going to make you…” God spoke in the past tense to Abraham as if it was done because in the sight of God it was done. *Abraham then had to believe God in the physical realm using faith to bring his spiritual reality into manifestation, and that is what every child of God with a promise from God has to do. Abraham knew what God said would work and he worked it.*

*PRAYER:* Help me Lord to always see reasons to thank You while waiting for the answer to manifest in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC*: *DEALING WITH SYMPTOMS SCRIPTURALLY (4)* 
Romans 4:19; Hebrews 12:1-3

The devil usually operates through suggestions. The devil will come through suggestions using your symptoms by saying, “Feel your body. Do you think you are okay?” or “If you say God answered you why do things continue the way they’ve been?” Picture a tree that has been uprooted but the leaves are still growing. The truth however is that the leaves that are growing only appear to be alive but they are no more alive. In the same way, when you prayed to God, the problem was dealt with.

*The symptom is just an appearance of life that will dry off after some time if you don’t give up your stand of faith*.

*Other practical steps to take are highlighted below*:

5. *Maintain a close and respectful relationship with the anointed in your life* – Genuine connections with anointed relationships will help you stay sharp to the Holy Spirit. This will help you to stay focused on Jesus.

6. *Allow the fruit of the spirit to grow in your life* (Gal. 5:22-23) – Allow the Holy Spirit to develop strength of character in you while waiting for your physical manifestation through the fruits of the Spirit.

7. *Reduce negative passion* – Negative passion produces no spiritual sensitivity. Anger, bitterness, offences, and unforgiveness will always come as far as we are in this world. Their goal is to dry up your spiritual sensitivity and your sensitivity is one of the critical weapons for your success and victories in life.

*PRAYER*: Lord, help me to keep my attention on You always amid contrary pieces of evidence in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: DEALING WITH SYMPTOMS SCRIPTURALLY (1)*
2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 4:19

*This subject is a critical point between “AMEN” and “HERE IT IS”.* What do I mean by that? *Between when you prayed and when you have the physical manifestation, the devil will fight you with contrary pieces of evidence.* God has given us our physical senses to walk in the physical world, but He expects us to use our faith to deal with His plan for our lives. While you are not denying the physical fact, you, at the same time, don’t want to lose your faith.

*_When the Bible says we do not walk by sight but by faith, it does not mean we are to deny the physical evidence. Rather, we are to bring the superior evidence of the word of God to rule over physical evidence when it contradicts the word of God._*

The Bible says in Romans 4:19 that Abraham “considered not his own body now dead … neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb”. What would have happened if he considered his body that was dead and the deadness of Sarah’s womb and kept thinking about the implication of his hundred-year-old body with the ninety-year-old body of his wife? He would have become weak in faith and would not be able to stand against the attacks of the devil. *The devil comes through contrary evidence to attack your faith The key is that God does not want you to consider contrary evidence when the devil offers it to you but rather be strong in faith.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to be strong in faith, even in the midst of contrary physical pieces of evidence in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: CONSIDERING YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES HINDERS YOUR FAITH (1)*

*One of the major principles of faith you must master very well so that your faith is not hindered is taking your mind from the symptoms and the circumstances of your condition.* *_Faith_* is the evidence of what is not seen. _*Sight*_ is the evidence of what you can see. For as long as you are looking at what you see, your faith will be weakened, but the Bible says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7).”

*God uses our faith to take us through the process to the outcome He promised us. If you are looking at the circumstances, your faith will be weak, and you will abandon faith altogether many times.*

*When you begin to observe your symptoms if you are sick, you cannot also at the same time believe you are healed; you will forsake your healing.* So many times, people blame God and say, “That man of God prayed for me and I didn’t get the miracle”. They received their miracle, but because they kept on considering their circumstances when they didn’t change immediately physically, they forsook their miracle. Thus, the devil stole it and they blame God or the man of God.

Faith in God worked for Abraham because he stopped considering his body dead. *When you focus on your circumstance, you will keep thinking it is impossible.* Abraham considered not. *You consider with your mind and that is why it is so important to fill your mind with the promises of God to refresh your mind with the word of God.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I pray for grace and power to be strengthened against every negative circumstance. My faith will not be weakened by the negative things happening around me in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: TRUTH (GOD’S WORD) IS SUPERIOR TO FACT*
Hebrews 11:1-2 (AMP)

Today, I want to emphasise this key principle that truth is always superior to fact. *Your sense deals with facts while your faith deals with the truth. When truth and fact conflict, let truth prevail because God will confirm the truth. It is the truth that makes free and it is the truth that is real.* God, who made this world, is a Spirit. He cannot be seen with the physical eyes, but the fact that He can’t be seen does not mean He doesn’t exist.

Many people don’t see the manifestation of God’s promise because they are trying to deny the existing fact. *A sick person who says, “I am not sick” is denying the fact. That is a lie. If you are sick and believe God’s Word, then you will say, “By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed” because “what be not” is your healing and “what be” is the sickness.*

What you are calling is the healing that “be not” as though “it were”. Why do you call it as though you are healed? It is because you are healed in the spirit. You were healed when Jesus received the stripes for your healing. So, you call it as though you are NOW healed and it will replace the sickness that exists.

*The promises of God are more real than the problems that are existing in your life. You must learn how to call the promise of God as though it were and it will replace the problem.* That’s what Abram did when God changed his name to Abraham. He agreed to call himself that name and his miracle became a reality.

*PRAYER:* Father, I accept Your Word as my truth. Help me, by the Holy Spirit, to daily live Your Word as my truth in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: FACT VERSUS TRUTH IN WALKING BY FAITH*
Romans 4:17; Joel 3:10

Yesterday, I said that many people erroneously treat the subject of faith as though God “calleth the things that are as though they are not.” The Bible says, “Let the weak say I am strong (Joe. 3:10).” The weak, when talking physically, will say, “I’m weak”. Scripturally, however, he is to say, “I’m strong according to the Word of God”.

*Here, we are dealing with the difference between fact and truth. Fact refers to how things appear in the physical while truth refers to how things are from God’s viewpoint. God finishes anything that He wants to do in the spirit before starting in the physical.* In line with that principle, God said to Abraham in Romans 4:17 that “…I have made thee a father of many nations….” Abraham and his wife were physically barren, yet God said, “I have made thee…” Grammatically, the sentence would have been rendered correctly as, “I will make thee”, which will express a process, but God said, “I have made thee …”

*This implies that God had already made Abraham a father of many nations in the spirit and He’s going to start the process physically thereafter.*

How then will Abraham enter the process? He would have to know how to call the things that be not “as though they were”, not “as though they will be”. In the body of Abraham and Sarah at this time was barrenness, but he must not call what be as though they were not. That will be a denial of the fact. *Faith in God is not denying the existing fact; it is changing the existing fact with the greater fact of the truth of the Word of God.*

*PRAYER:* Father, I thank You for Your word is the truth. Help me to enter and complete the process of making Your truth my physical manifestation in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: FAITH CALLS THOSE THINGS THAT BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE*
Romans 4:17

Abraham didn’t start in the fullness of faith at the beginning; he grew in it and had to learn the ways and operations of God in his walk with Him. For example, it took him 24 years to learn how to put the promise of God in his mouth for it to manifest in his life. *This is one of the key principles in the walk of faith that pleases God: calling things that be not as though they were (Rom. 4:17).*

This principle confuses many concerning the subject of confession and possession. People have variously labelled the subject of faith with many derisive terms such as “name it, claim it” and all kinds of funny tags like that. However, *the Bible makes it clear that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6).*

When the Bible talks of faith, it talks of faith as the Christian doctrine but also talks of faith as a force that causes you to live the Christian life and experience here on the earth by possessing all that Jesus had wrought for you in redemption.

You may know all the doctrines of “the faith” and be sick or be oppressed by the devil or even be unable to fulfil your destiny. The faith that makes you able to fulfil your destiny is the one we are dealing with – Abraham’s kind of faith. In the latter portion of Romans 4:17, the things referred to are intangible, but God called them as though they were. *Please, note that the Bible doesn’t say “God calleth the things that are as though they are not” but that He “calleth the things that be not as though they were.”*

*PRAYER:* Father, thank You for showing me that I cannot please You without faith in You. Help me to grow in faith as I continue to daily take these steps of faith in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: THE STEPS OF ABRAHAM’S FAITH (3)*
Genesis 15:1-2

Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday.

*5) Call those things (the problem) what God called them.*

Abraham began to call those things that be not as though they were. How did Abraham come into that? That’s what happened when God changed the name of Abraham. The name of Abraham before that time was “Abram”, meaning “high father,” and then God changed it to Abraham (Gen. 17:4-6). “Abraham” means “the father of a multitude.”

Consider this, for 24 years after God spoke to Abraham, his condition remained the same. However, in the 24th year, God changed the name of Abram to Abraham. What He did was that He put the miracle, the outcome, and the promise in his mouth, and in nine months he got his miracle. Abraham began to call himself by his promise. God also changed the name of Sarai to Sarah meaning “mother of a multitude (Gen. 17:15-16).”

*They both began to address themselves by their new names which were a confession of God’s promises and what did not happen in 24 years happened in nine months!* This happened when they began to “call those things that be not as though they were”.

Many people disparage the message of “calling things that be not as though they were”, not knowing it is God’s way of operating. *If you are going to see the power of God operate in your life, you have to change your language to that of God’s word; you have to call the things that be not as though they were.*

That is walking in the steps of Abraham’s faith. God got Abraham and Sarah to agree with Him by changing their names and that is the major reason for the change of names.

*PRAYER:* Father, I thank You for your precious thoughts towards me. Help me by Your Holy Spirit to continually speak the same thing as You have spoken concerning my matter in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: THE STEPS OF ABRAHAM’S FAITH (2)*
Genesis 15:1-2

Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday.

*3) You have the promise, now speak it! (Rom. 4:17)*

Abraham spoke the promise of God with his mouth. He put His promise in his mouth. *Until you put the promise of God in your mouth, it is not going to work. Your language must become the language of the promise of God.* That’s how God operates and the Bible says Abraham operated as God operated. The third step in Abraham’s faith is putting the promise of God in your mouth or putting it in your prayer.

*Don’t ever go to pray about anything until you find out what God has said about it. Genuine, scriptural prayer is praying the word of God.*

The Bible says, _“My word… shall not return to me void (Isa. 55:11).”_ That is, the Word of God must be returned to Him. Who returns the word of God to Him? It is you and I that will return God’s word to Him by saying, _“Father, You said…and we are relying on what You said”._ Isaiah 43:26 says, _“Put me in remembrance”._ *What are you going to put Him in remembrance of? Not the problems, but His promise. God already gave His promise for every problem that can exist in your life, just search the Bible for the promise to solve that problem.*

*4) Act according to the promise as if it is fulfilled (Rom. 4:19-20)*

Abraham acted according to God’s promise as if it had been fulfilled. That’s the fourth step to Abraham’s kind of faith. *Abraham changed his actions and made them line up with the promise of God.*

*PRAYER:* Father, thank You for all Your promises in Christ are Yes and Amen. Open my eyes to see them. I receive the grace and discipline to speak and act accordingly in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: THE STEPS OF ABRAHAM’S FAITH (1)*
Genesis 15:1-2

Today, I want us to look together at some of the steps of Abraham’s faith.

*1) Identify what you really want (Mat. 7:7-11 TLB)*
Matthew 7:7 (TLB) –
_“Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened.”_

Abraham identified what he really wanted from God. *You cannot get anything from God if you don’t identify what you want. Many people only pray for praying sake.* God does not say we should just pray. *You must focus on your prayer life if you are going to have a powerful and result-oriented prayer life.* So, identify what you really want. Do you want your destiny to be fulfilled? Do you want a vision to be fulfilled? Identifying your specific need is mandatory step one.

*2) Get God’s Promise for it (Heb. 6:13)*
Hebrews 6:13 –
_“For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,”_

*Abraham had God’s promise for it. You must find the promise of God that covers what you are looking for. That means you are going to study the Word of God and search the scriptures to find God’s promises.*

*The Bible is God’s book of promises to mankind. It tells us what His will is. It’s not just a storybook; it is a personal letter from a personal God to a personal child of God.* So, if you are born-again, I want you to change your orientation to the Bible because it contains every promise that covers every sphere of life.

If you are sick and you need healing, there is a promise of God that covers that. By searching the scriptures, you can find that promise. *God’s promises are revealed to us either through His spoken word (Rhema) to your spirits or as we diligently search the scriptures.*

*PRAYER:* Thank You Father for these steps of faith. I receive the grace and discipline I need to steadfastly continue in them in Jesus’ name. Amen!
