*TOPIC: ENHANCING YOUR SENSITIVITY TO THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (1)*
HABAKKUK 2:1-3, ROMANS 8:14

*God didn’t give you your mind to lead your spirit. God plans that your spirit receives direction, your mind processes it, and your body executes it.*

In Habakkuk 2:1-3; running is the action of your body, making it plain is the action of your soul, receiving the vision is the action of your spirit. Seeing what he will say is a spiritual act. Don’t start running until you see something. *Let every physical action of your ministry be the end product of something you received in the spirit. Let everything you are doing be traceable to a divine direction.* The following are the ways to enhancing your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit:

*1. Keep your conscience pure.* Protect your conscience. When your conscience argues about something, stop and correct it. An unbeliever can’t trust his conscience, but a believer must trust his conscience. When you got born again your conscience was cleansed.

*2. Spend time in intimacy with God.* Practice the Principle of one. One hour in a day, stay quiet before the Lord. One day in a week set it apart for you and the Lord. You don’t have to be off work, but you should be off the distractions. You should keep God in your emotions and your thoughts. You may be at work as a nurse, doctor, banker but your thought should turn often to the Lord. For one weekend in a month without TV or carnal activities, spend the bulk of your time with the things of God. One week in a year. It makes you a solid Christian.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I pray for a fresh baptism of the spirit of intimacy with you and I pray for purging and strengthening of my conscience in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: ACTIVITIES THAT NURTURE YOUR SPIRIT TO FOLLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT*
*Jude 20, Ephesians 1:17-19*

In Luke 10:17-20, Jesus sent His disciples out two by two. They came back to Him with a report that demons were subject to His name; the anointing moved in those meetings, but Jesus told them, _“Rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”_ What Jesus was saying to them is, “celebrate your relationship with Me and not the fact that demons are subject to you. If you are with Me and you abide with Me, they will always be subject to you.”

*A strong relationship with the Holy Spirit will bring the power of God into your life, but the power of God will not generate a relationship with the Holy Ghost in your life.*

*Here are some of the things to do to maintain a relationship with the Holy Spirit:*

1. Be born again (John 3:3-.

2. Meditate on God’s Word (Joshua 1:8, 1 John 5:7).

3. Pray in tongues (Jude 20).

4. Avoid works of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21).

5. Avoid grieving the Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:30).

6. Yield to him in your heart (Ezek. 14:3).

7. Acknowledge God in the things you do (Proverbs 3:6-9).

8. Enquire, ask questions and initiate communications with God (Ps. 27:4, Gen 25:22).

9. Repent, not explain when the Holy Spirit pricks your heart over any wrongdoing.

10. Always check your heart for what God feels about situations.

11. Pray until the feelings in your heart become clear. (Joshua 9:3-7; Gen 27:6-29).

12. When the skin feels like Esau’s and the voice like Jacob’s, don’t act, pray more!

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive empowered eyes, empowered ears and empowered minds to pick divine signals in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: HAVE A LIVING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT*
*Acts 16:13-19*

*You must have a living relationship with the Holy Spirit if you will develop your sensitivity.* Spiritual things are very slippery and except you develop your sensitivity, you will not be able to master and trap divine communications when they come. *The church was never raised to operate without the Holy Spirit* (Luke 24:49, John 14:15-18). Jesus Himself, during His earthly ministry never stepped out until he was baptized with the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:13-17).

*If you do not take time to develop your spiritual sensitivity as a Christian, the devil will present open traps to you as open doors.* Spiritual sensitivity helped Paul the Apostle to pick out that girl in the book of Acts 16 that her operations were not of God but by the spirit of python – divination. If Paul had not been spiritually sensitive, that girl would have become a member of their prayer team and most likely the leader, since “She prophesied”, and that move of God would have become history today.

*No believer should attempt to live the Christian life or relate with the world or do God’s work without the involvement of the Holy Spirit;* doing so will lead to a life of frustration. There are *two ways the Holy Spirit can get involved in a believer’s life and these are relationship and empowerment.* You cannot afford to open up to the empowerment side of the Holy Spirit and despise the relationship side. That major error destroyed the life and destiny of Samson. He was celebrating the anointing at the expense of a strong relationship with the One who gives the anointing (Judges 13 -16).

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive a renewed fellowship and walk with the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: DEALING WITH THE BODY AND SOUL TO DEVELOP THE SPIRIT MAN (3)*
*Romans 12:2*

*You prove God’s will by submitting your body. In proving God’s will in life issues, the body is presented and the mind is renewed.* When David sinned, he was supposed to be on the battle field– that was God’s will – but he stayed at home until he was tempted through the body and he committed adultery with the woman, which led to murder. David could have proven the will of God; instead, he obeyed the body and stayed at home.

*When we obey the body, we obey the devil because the devil will find rest in the negative desires of the flesh.* The Holy Spirit wakes you up in the night to pray; you pray only for some minutes and sleep off. Then the devil comes because you did not present the body at that time to God. *Presenting the body means yielding the body to the demands of the Spirit of God and the demands of the Word of God. The more you do the presentation, the clearer the will of God becomes to you.* You will move from what is good to the acceptable and perfect will of God.

Some people move in life without discovering the perfect will of God for their lives. They just do the things that are easy to the flesh and mind. The fact that something is easy doesn’t mean it is the will of God for you. *That the situation you are in is pleasant does not mean you are in the will of God. That you are having problems does not mean you are not in the will of God.* Everybody who flows into the will of God will face one demonic opposition or the other because *the devil’s goal is for us not to get into the will of God.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive grace to always submit my will to the will of God and to present my body to God’s will always in Jesus name. Amen!

Some people think if you fast to the extent that you subject the body to the worst kind of distress and punishment, you will become spiritual. No, the Bible says that kind of religion gives us only a special way of being body conscious: taste not, touch not. Those kinds of things are a carnal way of behaving; they are not holiness. It is because of sin consciousness in people who are trying to be holy. *Holiness, on the other hand, is a natural outflow of a man that understands righteousness.*

*Holiness is a physical thing and righteousness is a spiritual thing.* The body is an information-collecting vessel through the senses. All the information-collecting points are what God says you should submit. Without a body, no one can be a legal human being. *The body was originally designed by God to cooperate with the spirit of man.* Sin came in and twisted all the things that God put inside the body to help the spirit man function properly to work against man. That is why *the Bible says in Romans 6 that we should yield our body unto the Lord.*

We are stewards of our body. Demons are looking for bodies to inhabit because they need a vehicle to manifest their worst characteristics. That is why *the Holy Spirit needs your body. The demonstration of the power of God can only be seen in a body.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I yield the members of my body unto you. I consecrate my body to doing the will of God in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: DEALING WITH THE BODY AND SOUL TO DEVELOP THE SPIRIT MAN (1)*
*1 Corinthians 9:24-27*

*If you do not put your body under, you are going to be in trouble, and you are going to suffer for it.* The Bible acknowledges the negative power that lies in the flesh of man, but the Bible does not leave us under bondage to that power. It tells us what to do to walk free of that power and dominate it. *You can come to a place where you can train yourself to pick signals from heaven very clearly.*

Most of the time, the problem is always with the receiver. *God is always speaking, but the ‘receiver set’ inside of the believer may be at fault. If you cannot hear God, you should not blame Him.* If you have been born again for thirty years and while on earth, you never heard God for a second, God will tell you that He was always speaking but you were not listening. God does not exclude anybody from His ministrations.

Many people today are worried about finding the will of God. *The will of God is not physical and cannot be found by physical means. The will of God is discovered only on a spiritual platform,* and if you don’t know how to pick signals from the spiritual plane, you will never be able to know the will of God. If we reduce Christianity to a religion of outward appearance, it will give the devil the key to wiping the church out.

*God does not want us to be a prey at all. He wants our spirits to be developed. It is only the scriptures; the word of God, and the provisions of God that can build up the spirit man.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I pray for a divine boost in my spirit man - rising above my soul and body. I receive grace to put my body under in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: RELIGION VS REVELATION - THE FOOD FOR THE SPIRIT*
*Luke 18:11-12*

*The deceptive food that the devil feeds the spirit is called ‘religion’. What is the real food for the spirit? It is the revelation of the Word of God.* The deceptive food is religion. That is why people that get genuinely born again suddenly start facing persecution from parents, uncles or family members whom they thought were saved but were rather religious. Have you ever been in such a situation and you wondered, “What is the strange thing that I have done?” It is because what the family members had was religion and *the worst enemy of God is religion.*

*A religious spirit* is more terrible to the Kingdom of God than a spirit of fornication. A man with a religious spirit will propound strange doctrines that will affect generations, even when he repents, it will be difficult to undo that strange doctrine, but a man that fornicates will only affect himself and can repent.

From our passage today, we see the spirit of religion talking. A man who is not born again may think he is alright by doing some activities. He is not born again; he is living in sin but he buys carpets for church and thinks God will look at his carpets to take him to heaven. *That is a deception of the highest order!*

People go to Israel from different countries in the world and go to drop prayer points at the Wailing Wall. There is nothing special about the prayer prayed there; it’s just sheer religion! They go to the tomb of Jesus, and weep profusely, although most of them are not born again, the truth is “Jesus is no more in the grave!”. *That's religion for you, so don't be religious!*

*PRAYER:* Lord, deliver me from every spirit of religion and strange doctrine that can pollute and affect divine communications to my spirit in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: GETTING ON THE RIGHT DIET FOR YOUR SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY*
*1 Thessalonians 5:23*

The human body feeds on natural food while the soul feeds on intellectual materials. *Your spirit is supposed to feed on the Word of God and the truths of God, but many people have been starving their spirits.* If you see a picture of such people’s spirit in the spirit realm, it looks sickly; something that the devil can just blow away. When the devil comes against them, they face the devil with their normal life.

*Your body feeds on good food with high nutritional value; your soul feeds on the intellectual matter while your spirit feeds on the Word of God.* For many people, their spirits had been starved for many years before they come across anything that will feed their spirits.

*A major way the devil gets people to destroy their bodies is by feeding it with snacks.* For the past few years now, it has been discovered that most of what we eat as fast food is very dangerous to the body. How did we come to that place? The devil knows that as long as your body is alive, you will still be an enemy to him. Therefore, as long as he can kill your body, your spirit would not have a way to function.

*Be careful of the following deceptive foods:*

1. Snacks: Deceptive Food for the Body
2. Entertainment: Deceptive Food for the Soul
3. Religion: Deceptive Food for the Spirit.

I will be showing you more on point 3 tomorrow - why you must avoid religion for you to have a healthy spirit man!

*TOPIC: LET YOUR BORN-AGAIN SPIRIT BE THE SOURCE OF YOUR INFORMATION*
Romans 8:14-17

*Your senses can’t guide you. Somebody can give you false information and tell lies; that is why you can’t depend on your senses alone.* You can also get to a place where you begin to use your soul to reason. The information that is in your soul is like a computer. GIGO in computer language means garbage in, garbage out. It’s what you put inside that is going to be the output. With the right software, when you put some information there, the software processes it and brings something out on the other side.

If you are a doctor, that knowledge is in your soul. When somebody comes with a particular medical complaint, you pass it through the software of your medical training and diagnose what is wrong with the person, and then you prescribe the appropriate medication. If the condition doesn’t improve, you get confused and wonder if you were correct, you then recommend some other medications. That is the same way the soul operates *but we can get to our spirit where it is a world of infinite operations.* Every other realm is finite. The realms are bigger than each other but still finite.

Most people have the communication of the spirit in various degrees when they are not born again. People call it a hunch (having a strange feeling about a particular thing). When you are born again, it’s also there but you may not have the correct interpretation for it.

*PRAYER:* Lord, let the Holy Spirit break loose in my heart. The Holy Ghost is not going to be imprisoned in my body in Jesus name. Amen!

*TOPIC: ALLOW YOUR SPIRIT MAN TO LEAD YOUR SOUL AND YOUR BODY*
Matthew 4:1

*When it comes to leadership, of the three parts of man, your spirit is the leader; you must understand this if you’ll go very far.* Your body is supposed to be the slave and the vehicle. If you have a car, there is no way your car tells you where it wants to go in the day; you tell your car where you want the car to go.

*Your spirit is the driver and your soul is like the engine and the dashboard.* Some cars have some special equipment inside them. If your car has an air conditioner, a CD player or a cassette player, a radio, and some other buttons, all of that represents the soul. Some cars don’t have these, but they will still move.

If you press a button in a car, it brings out music, another supplies air-conditioning, and yet another one performs a different function; that is how the soul operates. *Your soul is what makes you different from another person.* The body is basically composed of the same thing, whether a man is black, yellow, brown, red or whatever colour. The only difference in man’s spirit is being born again or not born again.

*If you are NOT born again, your spirit is just like that of the devil irrespective of the colour of your body.* If you are born again, your spirit is like God’s but in varying degree of development and growth. *If all that you have access to when you want to make decisions is your body, you will be living your life by guesswork, by trial and error. This is because your body can’t give you the correct information always; there is more to life than what you can see.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, let there be a divine awakening of every dormant communication of the Holy Spirit to my spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: KNOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES YOU ADVANTAGE IN THE FUTURE*
1 Corinthians 2: 9-12

The human being is composed of three parts in existence; he is a spirit that has a soul and dwells in a body, making him *a tripartite being* just like God. Thus, three different experiences are happening in the life of every human being, which makes us different from angels.

Time has three periods: past, present and future. *The human body* can only dwell in one of these periods, which is the present. *The soul* can dwell in two: the past and the present. That is why man has a memory and can remember things that happened in the past. But the only thing that man can do about the future in his soul is to imagine and speculate, which is dangerous because there is no accuracy in that. It is advanced guesswork and there is no human being that wants to risk his future on such a fickle thing. *Your spirit is the only part of you that can dwell in the three periods: past, present, and future. Only the spirit can transverse the three periods.*

*Your spirit can travel back in time, bring you information from the past to the present and then go into the future. That’s the advantage that the spirit has. That is why we need to learn to develop the spirit part of our being.* Many people take time to develop the body, spending all the money they have and all their energy to develop their bodies. This is building for failure because as we move into the future, the body would be changing. Developing your soul will also give you a better advantage than developing just your body.

These are days and times that you must stay in the spirit and stay in faith. This month, I will be bringing anointed words from the Lord daily! I counsel you not to miss any of the days! *We will be focusing on “INCREASING YOUR SENSITIVITY TO THE HOLY SPIRIT.”*

When I started out in ministry, *God gave me two instructions: to learn how to walk by faith and be led by the Holy Spirit.* These were my pursuits as I moved on in life and ministry. After many years in ministry, I have seen the difference between a life run on the human brain and a life instructed by the Holy Spirit.

When Jesus was returning to heaven, He told the disciples to wait at the Upper Room for the release of the Holy Spirit, who would be the Guide and Leader for their assignment. This instruction is to every believer that will ever be. Jesus has not left us all on our own but has come to us in the Holy Spirit. *Effectiveness and accuracy in life and destiny come only by walking with the Holy Spirit, the One that reveals the deep things of God.*

We are not to run the destiny race relying on our strong physical bodies or prowess of our minds. The Holy Spirit has been given to us as _“the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener and Standby) (John 16:7, AMP)”._ *Become aware of His presence and positively engage Him in your life and destiny walk. I have learnt that all you need to do is just listen and obey Him.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I pray for heightened sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!!

We have seen the *three manifestations of Jehovah Shammah namely; God for us, God with us and we are on God in us* which is the best and highest of the manifestations of the names of the Lord Jehovah Shammah.

I told you that *despite all the greatness of “God for us,” and “God with us,” there are still certain things that God cannot do for His people and through His people until God dwells in them.* There are certain abilities and operations that God’s people will not access until God dwells in them and that is what we now have through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

God has made it possible for man to be in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit. When you get born again, your nature is changed, and you can receive the nature of God and the Holy Ghost can come to dwell inside you. *When the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we have access to inside information, current information and advance information.*

We have access to the revelation of the plans of the devil before he even thinks of it. Before the devil thinks of what he is going to do against you next year, the Holy Spirit has told you this year to know what to do, so that you can circumvent the enemy through the ministry of the Holy Ghost.

I believe you have been blessed with these truths and *it is my prayer that when you call upon any of the names of the Lord relevant to your situations and circumstances, the salvation and deliverance of the Lord will appear unto you.*

There were certain things that God could not do under the manifestation of “God for us” and neither could He when he manifested as “God with us” but such depths are now possible when God has the cooperation of man to manifest as *“God dwelling in us”* through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

*God came to bring man into the best of all that relationships in Jehovah Shammah which is the Lord in us; God in-dwelling man.* God has always had the desire to dwell with man and have fellowship and contact with man, but the best is for God to dwell inside man and it makes so many things available that God has always wanted to do.

An important truth is that the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives puts us at an advantage. *The Holy Ghost is our advantage in the world and if you don’t believe in the person or ministry of the Holy Ghost, you are not only cheating yourself, but you are also putting yourself at a disadvantage.*

Maybe you are born again but you want the baptism in the Holy Spirit, I will ask you to go on your knees and put your right hand upon your head as an act of faith and pray;

*TOPIC: JEHOVAH SHAMMAH – GOD FOR HIS PEOPLE*
EXODUS 4:22; ROMANS 8:31

Today, we will start off on the last covenant name of the Lord that we will be considering – *Jehovah Shammah: The Lord that is there.* Ezekiel 48:35 describes the city of God; The phrase written as “The Lord is there” is translated in the Hebrew as Jehovah Shammah.

The name Jehovah Shammah is so crucial because right from the very first day that God put man on the earth, He has desired to dwell with His people. The Bible reveals *three progressions in the covenant name: Jehovah Shammah* as follows: first, as *the manifestation of the name of the Lord;* second, *God’s desire to dwell with His people;* third, *to manifest His presence and bless the people of God.*

*(a) God for His people:* the first is found in God the Father’s relationship with the nation of Israel. The Bible says God was for Israel and that is the first manifestation of Jehovah Shammah – God for His people. The Bible has a lot to say about Jehovah for us. Romans 8:31 captures it very well. *If God is for you, you can be assured that no situation of life can go against you.*

In the Old Testament, God was for the people of Israel and they won battles upon battles. *That is one of the reasons why you need to have a strong relationship with God so that your children and children’s children can enjoy the benefit of your walk with God today.*

*PRAYER:* Lord I believe you are the same yesterday, today and forever. I believe you are Jehovah Shammah. I receive your visitation in every area of my life today in Jesus’ name.

*3. RESOURCES AND PEACE*

Psalms 23 verse 2, _“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…”_ *There will be resources for you when the Lord is leading you.* There’s yet another blessing still in verse 2. He says _“He leadeth me beside the still waters.”_ For many people, most of their lives are lived in troubled waters, their marriage, career, and life’s endeavours because they are led by all other things except the Lord and they have trouble. *When the Lord leads you, He always leads you beside the still waters and not tempestuous seas; if you find yourself in a tempest, maybe you should review who led you there in the first place.*

*4. RESTORATION*

Psalms 23 Verse 3 says _“He restoreth my soul.”_ He brings restoration to your soul, renewal and refreshing to your mind, He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name sake. *God can never tell you to do something criminal and neither can He lead you against the Bible.* Today, some Christians tell us the Holy Spirit led them to do something in contravention to the Bible and the laws of the land. God cannot do that.

*5. SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY*

In this world, there are two shadows cast over humanity: The shadow of the Almighty is spoken of in Psalm 91:1 and the shadow of death (Psalms 23:4). *Only those that are led by God can stay under the shadow of the Almighty.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive You afresh into my life today, lead me in the path of righteousness, I will walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil in Jesus name. Amen!

Let us dig into another beautiful name of the Lord – *Jehovah Rah: The Lord our Shepherd.* Jehovah Rah is one of the best names of the Lord that you can ever come across. *It is the name of the Lord that covers our need for guidance, direction, leadership, counselling, comfort, care, and security.* These are things that every human being needs in life. When these things are in place in a man’s life, that life is beautiful to behold.

*Divine Guidance is Personal;* notice the phrase in Psalms 23:1 _“The Lord is my shepherd…”_ If you are going to experience divine guidance, it will be a personal affair between you and God. Many people get in trouble by leaving the matter of divine guidance in their lives to other people.

*One of the proofs that you are a child of God is that you know the voice of your Father.* A very clear evidence that you belong to God is that God will speak to you, guide you and direct you. *One principle of divine direction and divine guidance is that if the matter concerns you, God owes you an obligation to speak to you personally.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, thank you for revealing yourself through your names, I declare the devil’s troubles will not cause me to go down; instead I rise higher because the name of the Lord is my strong tower in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: HOW GOD BALANCES RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE (2)*
HEBREWS 10:19-22

Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday. If you try from now till Jesus comes, you can never get enough righteousness to stand in the presence of God. *The only righteousness that you and I need to stand in the presence of God is the one that God Himself supplied for us - 1 Cor. 1:30, 2 Cor. 5:21.*

Maybe you are being condemned by the devil, or you are being condemned by people because the devil’s ministry of accusation also manifests through people in the form of slander, gossip, lies, cheating in the world, false accusations and the likes. Whatever the devil is using against you as a child of God, *I bring you good news: There is a provision of God in the name of the Lord – Jehovah Tsidkenu. If you call upon that name, He will appear as your defender and bail you out.*

In Zech. 3, the devil was accusing Joshua the high priest before God because he had filthiness in his life. He had been involved in sin. When a child of God gets involved in sin, he loses his sense of righteousness and the devil can now bring an accusation against him in the presence of God. *When your conscience is accused, your heart begins to condemn you and you’ll not have confidence in the presence of the Father.*

1 John 2:1 tells us the purpose of the Bible - that we don’t sin. Today, when some people hear of this truth, they think that God gives us a license to commit sin but this is not so. I am writing to tell you the way out. *The truth is some people have left God because they thought God can never forgive them and the devil capitalized on their ignorance. COME BACK TO GOD, BECAUSE HE CAN STILL FORGIVE YOU!*

*TOPIC: HOW GOD BALANCES RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE (1)*
HEBREWS 10:19-22

Today we will go further in our study of the name of the Lord Jehovah Tsidkenu - the Lord our righteousness. In vs 22, *there is an invitation from God - that invitation to draw near is to God Almighty.* We have boldness when we come by the blood of Jesus. *You must know the power of the blood of Jesus to overcome the accusation of the enemy.* In Rev 12:10, it was revealed that the accuser of the brethren can only be overcome by the blood of Jesus, and not by your efforts.

The Bible says let us draw near with a true heart, on full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience. That means *you can never have full assurance in your faith if your heart is having an evil conscience.* An evil conscience is a consciousness of evil that the devil is bringing to accuse you that you don’t qualify to come into the presence of God because of what you have done or because of a mistake you made.

*Our God is not the God of the last chance but He is the God of another chance.* It doesn’t matter how many times you fail, come back to God and He will give you another chance - Micah 7:8. Many people allow the devil to defeat them. Some people have even fallen for the trick of the devil and prayed like this, “Oh God give me another chance, one last chance and if I do it again don’t forgive me”. That is wrong. It is the devil’s lie to get you to sign a certificate of condemnation. *If the devil can succeed in bringing you to a place of condemnation, he will cripple your faith and he will cripple your ability to pray confidently.*

*TOPIC: JEHOVAH TSIDKENU – THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS*
Jeremiah 23:5-6

Today we shall look at one of the most special names of the Lord - JEHOVAH TSIDKENU. Have you ever been in a situation that justice is being denied you and you looked for someone to take your case but such a person is absent? *God has not left us at the mercy of the devil;* He has revealed Himself by the covenant name *Jehovah Tsidkenu; the Lord that is the righteousness, the justification, the justifier, and the defender of His people.*

*There are two sides to God - James 2:13: the judgment side of God and the merciful side of God.* When man sinned, the devil thought he had cornered man, and he started his accusation: “God must send man to hell.” But God said “My mercy will find a way” and the mercy of God finding a way, sent Jesus Christ into the world to die. Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, any time you make a mistake, and you tell God “I’m sorry, I have sinned”; the Bible says Jesus Christ our advocate will appear before the Father for you and plead your case and you can be free from the accusation of the devil. *It is when you don’t come to God that the devil accuses you successfully and holds you in bondage.*

There is a huge difference between accidentally falling into sin and deliberately living in sin and not changing, (and I am not talking of God justifying people that are living in sin without changing) but *if you make a mistake, the Holy Spirit will convict you in your heart and you lose your sense of peace. When you immediately confess your sins, the Lord appears for you as your advocate before the Father.*

*PRAYER:* Father, I thank you for Jesus is my righteousness and justifier. I receive grace to walk daily in this reality in Jesus name.

The devil is accusing people before God but *Jesus is interceding for everyone that is born again.* Therefore, the first step is to be born again. To be born again means to be justified from every claim of divine justice against man.

*2. Keep your mind on God*

Isaiah 26:3 says _“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”_ *You keep your mind on God by keeping your mind on the word of God. Let the word of God fill your mind.* Let your mind meditate on the word of God day and night. It will keep you in the peace of God. When you keep giving your mind to all kinds of information in the world, you will get disturbed here and there. *The power of the peace of God is that it serves as umpire, it decides for you.*

*3. Allow the peace of God to rule*

*Is there peace in your heart over that decision you are about to take? Pray about it again.* When the hand is the hand of Esau and the voice is the voice of Jacob and your heart is not at rest over a matter that you are deciding upon, whether a life partner, a career, a trip, whatsoever it is, you should stay the action until the peace of God returns to your heart upon the matter. Jesus said, _“…my peace I give unto you; let not your heart be troubled.”_ (John 14:27).

*PRAYER:* Father, as I take these steps I receive your peace as the umpire and ruler in my heart in Jesus name.

*TOPIC: JEHOVAH SHALOM – THE LORD OUR PEACE*
Judges 6:21-24

*This name of the Lord covers all human needs of peace:* be it heart peace, emotional peace, physical peace, national peace, tranquility, rest, quietness, and everything that makes for development. *This name guarantees the removal of everything that disturbs you and your progress.* Various kinds of fears eat people from inside. However, the Lord reveals Himself as the Peace of His people.

Jesus said to us in John 14:27 _“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”_ This shows us that there is a substantial difference between the peace the world gives and the peace that God gives. A closer look at our world today reveals that there are more prisoners outside the prison than within the prison walls. *It is only the people that God keeps in peace that are really safe. Those to whom God appeared as their peace are the ones that have peace indeed.*

The Bible reveals two kinds of peace. In Romans 5:1, a person experiences the first when he is free from the burden of sin and has the assurance that his sins have been forgiven. There is however another kind of peace which is made available through the name Jehovah Shalom. That is the peace that Jesus spoke of in John 14:27. We get a sense of the power of this peace of God in Phil 4:6-7.

The legitimate needs and wants of life can be so pressing until they become distractions channels through which the devil destroys life. However, *the peace of God is a protective peace and an offensive weapon of attack. When the peace of God garrisons and protects your life, the devil cannot penetrate.*

*PRAYER:* Father, teach me to cast my cares upon you so that I can daily experience your peace in Jesus name.

*3. Practice Choice of Speech*

Your confession is a major determinant in your healing. Proverbs 4: 24 says, _“Put away from thee a froward mouth and perverse lips put far from thee.”_ Such a mouth is one that speaks right today and speaks negative tomorrow. He speaks according to his surroundings and he doesn’t speak according to the word of God. *If you are going to experience the manifestation of Jehovah Rapha, then you must practice right speech.* The truth of the matter is that *whatever you have in your life today, whether sickness, disease or health, is a product of what you said yesterday concerning yourself.*

*4. Practice a Straight Eye*

Keep your eyes straight, and keep your eyes single. One problem of eyesight that doctors have found is “crossed eyes” and it is a disease. *Many people have crossed eyes in life. They look to man and they look to God. No, look to God alone.* The Bible says _“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else”_ Isaiah 45:22. *Make up your mind who you want to believe.*

*5. Practice Right Actions*

Prov. 4:26 says _“Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.”_ *Right actions are consistent with the Word and the Will of God. If you believe that God heals the sick, then say it and do accordingly.* The Bible says in 2 Cor. 4:13, _“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.”_ Many people believe yet they don’t say it and that inaction is not consistent with the scripture.

*PRAYER:* Father, I ask for the grace to consistently speak right, look to you, and trust you alone as my source and act accordingly in Jesus name..

Today, we will look at the other financial miracles God has for His children.

8.*The miracle of the restoration of the lost axe head*.

In second Kings Chapter 6, one man borrowed an axe head, and he lost it. Imagine losing something you borrowed, that shows how wicked the devil can be. We see from this text that God can restore axe head to people that have lost theirs.

9.*The miracle of the healing of the water of Jericho*

This city was well situated, yet nothing prospered in that land. There are cities today that no business or enterprise succeeds, but God can cause you to succeed there, despite the negative report.

10.*The miracle of increased sources of income*.

Many people are tied down to only their salary, but God through His miraculous intervention, wisdom, revelation and instruction can open other sources of income for you that you never knew you could earn money from.

11.*The miracle of divine reduction of expenses in your life*.

Many are in shortage today because their supply is not enough to meet the demands of life they are facing. There is a reality of supernatural reduction of expenses that God reserves for His children.

12.*Jehovah Jireh makes ways and means and room available for you*.

He made room for Isaac, and He opened the Red Sea for the children of Israel to pass through.

Looking through all these twelve miracles that God did as Jehovah Jireh, you can see that it covers every area of physical, material, and financial need of a human being. God is showing us this truth so that we don’t have material hindrance and become a servant of men or a slave of the devil.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive for myself all the different channels of financial and material blessings you have for me. Rooms are opened for me in life in Jesus name.

*TOPIC :JEHOVAH JIREH: THE GOD OF FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL MIRACLES* (2) - Luke 8:1-3, 2 Kings 7:1-7, John 6:1-13

Today, we will continue to examine the financial miracles God has for His children.

4.*God puts men under divine command to do things for you*.
In Luke 8, certain women ministered to the needs of Jesus through their substance. There are human beings that God has put under command to favour you and help you on the road of life. The devil attacks the destiny of many people through hindrance, but God has helpers scattered on the road of life for you.

5.*Release of favour to cause assistance, jobs and calls to come for you*.
Nehemiah received such when the king gave him a favour and released all the materials he needed. Esther also received such when the king signed the decree to counter the decree of Haman to wipe out the children of Israel. Daniel received such in his day, and Moses received such from the daughter of Pharaoh.

6.*The miracle of magnification of efforts*.
In second Kings Chapter 7, we see the story of the four lepers. Their feet were just shuffling and dragging on the dusty ground, but God caused the enemies to hear a massive army movement, and they ran away and left all their resources. God caused a magnification of efforts of the four lepers.

7.*The miracle of the multiplication of resources*.
In John chapter 6, we see Jehovah Jireh multiplying five loaves and two small fishes to feed five thousand men not counting women and children, and they still had twelve baskets left. That miracle happened twice in the life of Jesus. He can still do the same for you today!

*PRAYER*: Lord, I pray that from today my path will begin to cross with the people you have placed on my journey in life to favour me. I receive divine multiplication over all that is mine in Jesus name.

2 Kings 4:1-7, Luke 19:30, 1 Kings 17:1-6

*Today, we will look at the financial and material miracles that Jehovah Jireh brings to His people.* Be rest assured that Jehovah Jireh is committed to doing the same in your life if you require these miraculous interventions to fulfil your destiny and purpose on earth today.

*1. The miracle of debt cancellation.*

God did this kind of miracle for the Israelites when they crossed the Red Sea, all their enemies and creditors were killed in the Red Sea, and there was nobody to reclaim their debt again. The Egyptians illegally withheld the salaries of the children of Israel for 430 years, and God collected it from them. He wiped them out in the Red Sea so that they will not go and claim an illegal hold upon the children of God anymore because slaves didn’t have rights in those days.

He also did the miracle of debt cancellation for the widow of one of the sons of the prophets in 2 Kings 4. By multiplying her little oil, she had enough to sell and to clear the debt.

*2. The release of money or materials tied down by the enemy.*

Some people have their resources and finances tied down by the enemy. God can cause your money to be released for you. The Lord untied that colt for Jesus to ride to Jerusalem to fulfil His assignment.

*3. Miracles of supernatural supply.*

The ravens that fed Elijah was a manifestation of the miracle of supernatural supply, and He can still do the same today.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive the miracle of supernatural debt cancellation and supernatural supply in Jesus name. Nothing that I need to succeed will be tied down anymore.

1 Timothy 5:8

It is important for you to understand that for the fulfilment of your required roles in life whether as a husband, wife, father, mother, pastor, or a Christian, whatever destiny God has chosen you to fulfil, *God is always committed to channelling resources your way.*

A father must take care of his children, a husband must take care of his family, and a pastor must execute his or her ministry. *If you don’t have access to material resources, you will be hindered from fulfilling your God-given roles, and it will bring shame to the name of the Lord.*

In today’s text, the Bible says, “He that does not provide for his family has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.” There are many men today who are not taking care of their families, and they say, “Well, I’m a Christian and I should suffer…” No, that is not correct. You should find out what the Bible says. *Get God into partnership with you through the remembrance and knowledge of His name, and He will meet your need and help you.*

God doesn’t do things purposelessly; *the blessings of God in your life are always purposeful. God will provide for you so that you can fulfil your destiny without distraction and pain in your life.* When you are walking in the purpose of God, and you are asking for provision for the fulfilment of divine purpose in your life, God will be eager and joyful to bless you.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive all the resources that I need to fulfil the varying roles and assignments you have called me to here on earth without distraction or pain in Jesus name.

*TOPIC: THE NAME OF THE LORD GUARANTEES GOD’S PERSONAL ACTION*
1 Samuel 25:5-13

In the past two days, we have established that *God reveals Himself, His intentions, His purpose, and His plans to His people through His names with which He relates with us.* When the children of Israel found themselves as captives of Pharaoh in Egypt, God came to Moses and revealed Himself to Moses as Jehovah the covenant-keeping, the covenant-cutting, the covenant-remembering God. He didn’t reveal Himself to Abraham like that because Abraham did not need to prove that covenant, but the children of Israel needed to prove it like that.

*The Bible is full of various names of the Lord that cover various situations and circumstances that God’s people can find themselves.* Still, those situations defeat many children of God because they forget the name of the Lord in their crises.

In our Scripture today, David was going to fight because Nabal rebuked those men that went in David’s name and David took it as a personal insult, how much more when you are going in the name of the Lord. *When you call the name of the Lord, God becomes personally implicated and personally involved. That is why calling the name of the Lord brings salvation.*

The Lord can’t change; He remains the same forever. The Lord is not limitable, and when you are doing anything in His name, you have access to all of His resources. I encourage you, *start your day with the name of Jesus, and start your business in the name of Jesus. Do everything in the name of Jesus, and you will be glad you did.*

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, I make a fresh commitment today to bring the name of Jesus into everything I do from now on and I will experience the personal visitation of Jehovah on all matters pertaining to me in Jesus name.

*TOPIC:THE PRIORITY OF BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD (6): HE CAN WIN YOUR BATTLES FOR YOU - 1 Samuel 5:8-9*


9. And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.

We are entering the last days that God said the same thing that happened in Egypt will happen yet again. He will judge all the gods of the earth. *The rapture isn't going to be a secret operation. It will be known that God came for His people*. Are you one of the people of God? Are you in a relationship with him through Christ Jesus? If not, stop the prayers and fasting for 7 days and 21 days. Those may give you a sense of false righteousness, but it is only religion without a relationship with God.

As you continue in relationship with God, you must know that your past victories don’t guarantee you future victories. The current form of your relationship with Him is what guarantee victories or failure in life. God never fails. *The problem is never with God’s ability, the problem is always with our ability to stay in his pleasure*.

*Against the Philistines, if Israelites remained in God’s pleasure, the enemy didn’t stand a chance, despite the strength and reputation of their military or their gods*. Across the land of Philistines, in Ashdod, Gath and Ekron, the presence of Ark of the Lord amongst them brought unbearable judgment and evil on their land. They had plagues, emerods in their secret parts and destruction visited them. It implies that in the pleasure of God, the victories are already won. *God can win the victories for you without your involvement. Just stay in His pleasure and watch God bring you the victory*.



PRAYER: Father, I prioritize my relationship with you. I enjoy victories over the enemy as I daily choose to be in your pleasure. Amen!

*TOPIC: THE PRIORITY OF BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD (5): HE WILL SUSTAIN YOUR LIFE*
1 SAMUEL 5:4

_And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him._

*God doesn’t need man’s help in showcasing his might. He is God all by Himself. Be confident in the God you are serving.* The Philistines saw Dagon, their most revered god, fallen upon his face before the ark of the Lord. Wondering if it was by chance, they stood Dagon up the next day. But God helped them to erase all doubt, He slew Dagon, permanently this time, cutting off his palms and head, only his stump remained.

Years later, when David was bringing the ark back into Israel, the ark stumbled. An escort to the ark, Uzzah, thinking he could help God, reached out to support the ark but he provoked the anger of God and died instantly (2 Samuel 6:6-7).

Now the question is if the oxen had stumbled, would the Ark had fallen? No! If you have ever seen the earth from space, you would notice that the earth is hanging on nothing. Nothing!

The planet has no pillar holding it. *The God that hung the universe into space with nothing holding it,* can hold an ark, an ordinary box. Uzzah denied us the chance of seeing the Ark of Covenant holding itself.

*What is your life that you think He cannot hold you up? If he holds up the universe by the word of his power, he can hold your life up.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, I maintain my confidence in you. Your might is greater than any other. My life is secure in your hands. Thank you, Jesus..

*TOPIC: THE PRIORITY OF BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD (2): ENCOUNTERS IN HIS PRESENCE*
2 CORINTHIANS 3:8

*Christianity is the only religion in the world that cannot survive without the founder being alive.* Every other religion says, “Let us sit down and discuss rules for men to observe that will constitute a religion”. *Christianity is not a discussion; it is an encounter with a living person. You must encounter and establish a living relationship with Jesus before you can participate and partake of Christianity.*

*If you have not encountered that same Jesus Christ, yet participating in Christianity, you are into religion.* A man can go to church seven times a week, give lots of funds to church, yet not be in a relationship with God. Every activity of the church is primarily for servicing our relationship with God. It is a means to an end; the end is an encounter with the person of God.

_“They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”_

If you are a member of Zion, an appearance before God strengthens you. In His presence, you have encounters that touch you, affect you and change you.

*2 Corinthians 3:18*
_But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord._

*There is a spiritual dimension of the word of God that produces a change; nearer and nearer to the glory of God when you have the spirit of God. That only comes from a relationship with Him.*

*PRAYER:* Father, let me partake more and more of the glory of your presence through deeper encounters of your person.

*TOPIC: THE PRIORITY OF BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD (1): RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD FIRST, BEFORE HIS WORD*
Acts 20:32, 2 Corinthians 3:6

Acts 20:32 - _And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified._

Previously, we mentioned that you cannot replace your relationship with the Holy Spirit with symbols of Christianity. *You cannot replace Him with old instructions that worked in the past. The children of Israel made this mistake.* The Ark of the Covenant had represented a major move of God in their history, and they began to think it was the ark doing the mighty acts of defeating their enemies. They thought if the ark was present, God was present with them. *We must not repeat the same mistake. We must understand that everything in Christianity is powerless without God. The bible is not different from any other book if you remove the Author from it.*

Acts 20:32 – _“I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace….”_ Paul did not first commend the people to the word of His grace, before commending them to the Author of the word of grace. Instead, he commended them to God first. Why? Because without God, the Author of the word, the bible becomes ordinary letters. *Reading the bible can be dangerous by itself without the Author breathing life through His words into your mind.*

2 Corinthians 3:6 _"Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life."_

There are examples of people that have read the bible, believed God called them and have gone to do insane things because they read the bible without the influence of the Author of the bible. *The letter by itself kills, but with the help of the spirit of God, the bible breathes life into you.*

*PRAYER:* Father, I build a deeper relationship with you and I receive the influence of your spirit upon my mind as I read your word, in Jesus Name. Amen.
