He begins: "Mary the tender mother of God herself get me the spirit of wisdom, so i cn clearly explain this song of hers. May Christ grant me dis, through the intercession of his dear mother Mary That was while he was under the darkness of catholicism. As the Scriptures opened his eyes, he rejected papal lies and disagreed with the roman church as much as he had light from the Bible. Mary is not praying for anybody. Mary is in the grave. Jesus never acknowledged Mary as His mother. Mary was only an instrument through which His humanity was introduced. The phrase "Mother of GOD" is contradictory. GOD is essentially eternal/without beginning. You now see why Mary is not the mother of GOD. GOD has no mother. |

randomperson: The question is not non sequitur... If God could have sustained life without creating the Eye- eating worm, then he is not a good god... If the creation of the Eye- eating worm is necessary for God's creation to work then god is not infinitely powerful... The argument of necessary evil is incompatible with an omnipotent god... Evil will not be necessary for god if he's truly omnipotent You're shifting the goalpost to the problem of evil argument. In fact, you're confused. Why is eye-eating wrong/bad? Who cares whether only eye-eating worms survive in the universe? It is still life. Therefore GOD is benevolent. |

But IQ does not actually define intelligence totally . Because here's social intelligence and there's emotional intelligence.
The greatest minds were theists and deists from the Ancient Greeks to the medieval age to the modern time . It has all been theists and deists
Albert Einstein , Max Planck , Leonardo Da Vinci I can go on and on and on
I also discovered that the grandmasters in Chess have high IQs and they are very religious too . Yea. We the (unofficial)Grandmasters of Chess humbly acknowledge the true GOD in Heaven who rules in the affairs of men, and who has given us such an impressive mental ability. |

Like the Eye- eating worm, tsunamis, the organism that causes anencephaly... It's double standard to ascribe the good things to god and ignore the ugly ones... What is ugly and what is good? Who determined the standard? GOD is still benevolent because the eye exists for the proliferation of life(the worms). The life of those organisms is sustained by their parasitic activities on man/other things. All in all, life is sustained. Therefore GOD is benevolent. |

Like the Eye- eating worm, tsunamis, the organism that causes anencephaly... It's double standard to ascribe the good things to god and ignore the ugly ones... This question does not prove that GOD does not exist. It instead seeks to enquire about the preservation of the universe i.e. has the universe created by the benevolent GOD always been like this. And so in order to avoid infinite regress, we assume the creator is the uncaused cause... That's not logic, it's assumption Infinite regress is logically impossible. Think with your head. It's not an assumed position. It's logically impossible. You can ask me to help you. |

randomperson: Really?? So God= the creator= the first cause?? Assumptions, all of 'em. If God is simply the creator, then we can't automatically attribute properties like benevolence, omniscience or omnipotence to him. There's no rule, scientific or logical that says the creator is good or all powerful. GOD is benevolent because He made conditions which support life. GOD is all-powerful because He brought the universe into existence from nothing. Also equating the creator with the first cause or uncaused cause is a leap of faith... The uncaused cause could have created the creator of the universe This would lead to an infinite regress which is logically impossible. |

If we are to assume that the universe never began to exist:
1. The universe has always been.
2. Therefore it is infinitely old.
3. Therefore an infinite amount of time has elapsed before today.
4. But day infinity of the universe couldn't have been reached(since any day you choose to call day infinity has an infinite number of days stretching behind it, and the universe has to pass those days before it gets to day infinity, just as we have to pass through today before we get to tomorrow).
5. The day after day infinity couldn't have been reached either. Neither could the day after that.
6. Therefore today couldn't have been reached.
7. But today has been reached.
8. Therefore the process of reaching it was not infinite.
9. Therefore the universe began to exist. |

Morality is a feature and invention of humanity. We must make moral codes of conduct. If morality were objective then every member of our species would share and agree to the the same moral values. There’s clearly a lack of moral consensus amongst human so how is morality objective when morality varies from society to society and in history?

taurus25: You cannot isolate the the emergence of space and time from the existence of a singularity.
If space-time begun, then there was a singularity. And with this singularity being essentially the universe in a quatum scale , it's emergence is unaccountable, therefore the singularity (quantum universe) always was. DoctorAlien: The universe began to exist! The amount of energy in it is finite, and so for the singularity(whatever that is) to be there eternally is impossible. It would have used up the finite amount of energy a long time ago, thus preventing the universe from existing.
Moreover, where was the singularity since all the space we know today came from it? |
