Back to the thread's topic on inconsistency, Matthew's account informs the reader that Jesus was clothed in a scarlet robe - Matt 27:28 - which is a sign of infamy whilst Mark's and John's account tell us that Jesus was clothed in purple robe which is significant to royalty.

The differences in robe colour and the their significance contradicts themselves.

Purple is a color intermediate between blue and red. In other words, purple has a shade of red in it.

Scarlet is a brilliant red color with a tinge of orange. Again, scarlet has a shade of red in it.

The evangelists agree whatever they put on Jesus, it had a shade of red in it.

In Psalm 7:11-13:

Very simple.

That GOD has no pleasure in the death of a sinner does not mean that He is happy with sinner's way of life. If the sinner would not repent, GOD will destroy him.

Matthew summarized the events from the resurrection morning to the ascension(40 days later) in just one chapter.

That chapter spans all the appearances of Jesus to all the different people, and their different meetings with themselves. Matthew obviously didn't go into details. The news of Jesus' resurrection must have caused serious frenzied movements and cross-movements in Jerusalem and its environs that Sunday. Matthew summarized the events like that because the schedule of movements on that resurrection morning isn't really all that important to the Christian's Salvation.

This question exposes your lack of knowledge of the character of GOD. GOD say He has no pleasure in the death of a sinner. That is the reason why GOD sends messengers who warn the people to turn from their sinful ways.

As far as we know, Gomer gave birth to the children and left her husband. The children must have been brought up under their father, who was a prophet of the living GOD.

Hosea went and redeemed Gomer from the hand of her lover with some amount, and GOD intended to, with that, teach the sinful nation of Israel how He's willing to redeem them from sin.

Matthew's account is by no means comprehensive. About 5 women went to the grave but he mentions only two. Bring out the "contradiction" in the 4 accounts.

If you recall, Felixomor said the account in John 20 chronicles the second arrival of Mary at the tomb, while the account in Luke was the first; so we can say my question is in fact informed by the trail of this very conversation we're having. Again, I ask: Why is it that in Luke, Mary remembered what she had been told before she left the tomb (and was even filled with joy according to Matthew); but then comes the second visitation, which chronologically succeeds Luke (and I assume Matthew); and suddenly, she relapses to the thought that the body had been stolen?

Again, mental blindness did not allow you to notice that Matthew didn't even mention the whole women that went: he mentioned just two. His account is not comprehensive.

The four accounts shed more light on the same event. Read that piece again, this time slowly.

I believe this matter is trivial when compared to the terrible deceptions which Satan has succeeded in bringing into the church. Afterall, there were Nazirites among the Jews--those who never cut their hair, as part of devotion to GOD.

Have you paused to think about Jesus' message in Matt. 5:17-19, where He declared that He didn't come to abolish the Law of GOD, but to fulfil it, and that those who break the law of GOD, and teach others to do so shall be called the least in the Kingdom of GOD?

Do you know that contrary to what Satan would have people believe, the Bible does not teach that we should neglect the 10 Commandments?

And what does GOD require of us? "Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." Eccl. 12:13

We must repent from sin and worship the true GOD. "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." 1 Jn. 3:4

The word promiscuous tells that she already has different partners she's having intercourse with. Now, telling a prophet who was revered at his time to marry a promiscuous woman is acting against his stance on adultery. This is contradictory, isn't it?

GOD sometimes declares things which will surely come to pass as already done. Jesus Christ is called "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" in Rev. 13:8. We know Jesus was slain only about 4000 years later.

So, when GOD told Hosea to go and marry a wife of whoredoms, He instructed him to go and marry a woman who would definitely become promiscuous. GOD has seen the heart of that young woman, and her tendencies towards adultery.

There is scientific evidence that as little as 20 000 years ago, the earth would have been a magnetic star had evolution been correct. Of course, life cannot form or survive on or near a magnetic star because, in such an environment, the atoms that form our bodies, trees, planets and even water cannot adhere to each other. How do you reconcile this with your statement that dinosaurs existed 65 million years ago and that homo sapiens arrived 20 000 years ago?

However, the special theory of relativity has forced itself to come to the conclusion that the speed of light is zero. It contains a mathematical error.
