Jesus didn't eradicate the law but fulfilled it. God's word never changes. In the Bible, specifically in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus says in Matthew 5:17 (ESV): "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." This emphasizes Jesus's fulfillment of the Old Testament law rather than abolishing it."

And moreover God also cares about your body. Remember Romans 12:1 (ESV) states: "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship."

And yet you have been eating the pig and several other animals and food touted as unclean in Leviticus according to the law. I suppose you also do not touch your wife during her period for seven days so you don't become unclean to incur God's wrath

This is how low social media has brought us. An elderly man modestly and neatly clothed is being tossed for not going as far as his inlaw. What is important is that the old man is seemingly happy. We attach alot of importance on trivial things, make a fuse about them, troll others for it, giving marks and grades on circumstances we know nothing about. Little wonder most survive on fakery these days.

No. As a true believer in Jesus, a low and even trimming of the hair is acceptable without total balding or carving (shaping) of the edges of the head or beard. Anything more than this is condemnable according to the Bible. It may be a hard message but it is the truth my friend.

Do not forget to open another thread on the things we shouldn't eat as prescribed in the book of Leviticus...

Epistles and letters written to the people and the culture of Corinth, Romans, etc should now govern Africans with different skin and hair texture in a totally different era. As for the verses of Leviticus we as Christians are no longer under the law of Moses, that's why we now eat pork, tortoise etc.

One thing I love about God, is how bigger he is than people say. Our hair style is not his worry. I am certain the Ethiopian Eunuch had a different hair style to Philip. He is more concerned about the heart 1Samuel 16: 7 says But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

Cameroon mightily represented. Winning out all the three spots in 2000. Thomas N'kono was truly a goalie par excellence. Winning the France-Afrique Ballon D'or thrice. Went on to represent Cameroon in the Italy 1990 World Cup that saw the Indomitable Lions come out as the first African Team to reach the Quarter Finals

With the present exchange rate this is consistent with the prices of same goods in Cameroon, the difference is most Cameroonians don't complain that much. A few items on the list though are slightly cheaper compared to Cameroon. The truth is prices of most items have soared across the globe and Africa in particular whose economy is driven by the fluctuations of raw materials at the international market

On the contrary....... It works by stopping bacteria from multiplying and dividing, thereby killing them in the process. When taken according to instructions, Augmentin has been known to successfully treat various STDs such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and more........

And this is why the outcry is massive(it's the abx of choice, for many) ...... Their comfort blanket, is now more expensive......😁🀣

True, but still doesn't make it the drug of first choice for all the STD's you listed. Augmentin is a combination of Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, prevents bacteria from destroying amoxicillin due to resistance.

Augmentin is most often prescribed to treat bacterial infections such as sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, ear infections, laryngitis, skin infections.

My rebuke to him though was how he concluded that a broad spectrum antibiotic that could have been prescribed for most bacteria infections was certainly prescribed only for an STD for the OP

angry The last time I bought this some about two years ago it was 4000 Naira.

Y'all should better choose a healthy life style and stop having sex with random people.

To think you have 31 likes for an ignorant statement says alot about the average Nairalander. First things first Augmentin isn't the drug of choice for most common sexually transmitted diseases. Cephalosporins like Ceftriaxone, Macrolides like Azithromycin and a Tetracycline like Doxy are often prescribed for common STDS. That said how you narrowed and concluded that a broad spectrum antibiotic was actually bought for an STD ONLY, beats my imagination

A month ago it’s was 25k in Jos, the syrup. Needed to buy 2 for my kids. Had to return and prepare again before getting it. Got a discount of 1k per pack and paid 48k for the 2. Best thing is to try and avoid incidences of illness. We are not God but we can adopt healthy lifestyles that will minimize risk of sickness.

Did you ask for another brand like Fleming or a generic? The syrup Augmentin Costs 7000 Naira equivalent in Cameroon. I am totally shocked at the outrageous price in Nigeria

Mischievous? Why not walk into any pharmacy and find out yourself before saying something you have no idea of

I am sorry for doubting your predicament. I don't live in Nigeria but I am a regular on Nairaland. I just called my Pharmacy in Douala, Cameroon and the price of same drug remains at 4510 francs CFA which equates to 5400 Naira. Cameroon doesn't have a production unit for GSK atsuch the drug is imported too.

Augmentin is a GSK pharmaceutical brand of Amoxicillin that contains c!avulanic acid to fight antibiotic resistance. It is in the WHO list of essential Medicines with generic versions from several pharmaceutical that sell for less than 2000 Naira equivalent in Cameroon. I wonder at what point a cheap, easy to produce, essential medicine like Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid would cost 57.000

Did you ask for another brand? I think you should lodge a complain with the price control for a proper investigation. This is totally outrageous. The Naira hasn't devaluated to the Zimbabwean dollar

After the failed over hyped Ukrainian counter offensive, it has become evident to the West the underestimated the resolve of the Russians against the collective West.

NATO just announced they are low on weaponry to supply Ukraine, as it becomes evident Russia's ability to produce a wide range of arms, has since doubled during the war

The western propaganda of Russia running out of ammunition, low morale amongst troops, lack of leadership etc has turned out to haunt the Ukrainian command that is all but certain to break soon.

With condemnation of the Ukrainian by the West after their superficial expectations of the counter offensive failed, Ukraine hit back at the US, reminding them Russia is not Afghanistan or Iraq. Turns out the US has been giving Ukraine a conventional war fighting script, itself has never engaged
