I said it that most of the people that would counter me have never been in the school system. Their opinions are laced with sentiments either as parents or people who typically lack knowledge of what I posted.

You should be ashamed of yourself for doctoring unto others what path to tow. What better alternatives have you created for them. I know a lot of successful private school teachers. Every profession has its ups and downs, successful practitioners and failures. That you were a failure as a private school teacher shouldn't be a yardstick for the profession.

My kids go to private schools and compared to the public schools around these schools offer quality holistic education. Some of the teachers have been there for a decade and over positioning themselves as models of quality professionals.
